So, if I get 10 of those, I can theoretically mine 10 BTC? per month? At which point, an ASIC would probably be better? I don't have the money to fork out for an ASIC right now, but I can get a video card or two.

Thanks! Any idea of a store where I could pick one of these up?

By $80, I meant used. You can't buy them new anymore as they're an old card, but they still pack a good punch for gaming, I ran a rig with just one of these and it was well capable of playing any new game with high settings.

Best place to get them would be right here on this forum or eBay, I picked up 3 of them for $60 each and another 2 for $80 each not too long ago all on this forum, eBay they're slightly more expensive though, around $100.

How many bitcoins do you think the 5830 or any 58XX card would make?

Here is a handy tool:
http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator

At the moment, around 1BTC/mo, but that will be much lower (I expect around 5% of that) once the ASIC's hit, and don't forget to factor in your electricity costs.

I'm looking to upgrade my horribly old NVidia GPU to something that can mine bitcoins (even if its very low profit). I'm hoping to get 200-400MHash for less than a $350 dollar investments. Any recommendations?
