Wheres the source Over powered? I didnt find any tweet too of him having these sort of advantages. However, I believe on the off chance that these are the honors, its great likewise for those fanbase of trumps. There are numerous who preferences Trump and having these sort of advantages will unquestionably hit a portion of the nft gatherer and tear of those advantages.

There might still be someone who are taking risk buying this kind of NFT and follow the hype, personally I don’t see any value here and with Trump, I guess its just a hype and too risky to deal with...

It is obvious that many consider Trump to be narcissistic and, accordingly, count on the fact that he will be able to fix the situation with his billions by buying his own NFT, preventing them from depreciating. Otherwise, it will be a strong blow to his ego.

The only person who will be making guaranteed money & getting publicity out of this is Trump. Why would anybody want to buy a Trump NFT.

I can think of millions of better things to spend money on than a Trump NFT.

NFTs are not in good position right now because many wants to buy a more worth it coin than to a useless project like this, I’m wondering as well why Trump created his own NFT.

Influencers have a new method basically with this situation. I mean if Donald Trump does it and makes money, what stops Drake doing it? What stops Lebron James? Messi? I can name a million others but basically you got the whole idea. Famous people all around the world could hire some artist for a few thousand dollars and get their NFT's made and sell them for millions of dollars and why wouldn't they?

People are buying it for some reason. They could even distribute it to charity and act as if that is a good thing but in reality they would be both doing charity and PR at the same time but also drop that from their tax as well, which means profit.

Former U.S President Donald Trump has recently issued his own NFTs called Trump Digital Trading Cards. The purchasing perks are abundant such as a dinner with Trump, access to his community, golfing with Trump, Zoom calls etc. It looks as normal as other celebrity's NFT issuance but also seems more than that. Personally I think it is also political and deeply related to his political campaign. The majority of potential buyers must be his political supporters and fans. This NFT thing may be another digital means to connect him with his vast fanbase. What is your opinion on this and why ?

I noticed that some users on OpenSea purchased hundreds and even thousands of these NFTs Shocked

Now the frenzy has clearly subsided and the floor price is tending towards the starting price of $99. Although there is a suspicion that the price may fall even below that mark, as is often the case with NFT collections.

If you want to meet Trump, it's a very small amount. What if Trump becomes president in the next election?
It is likely that the price of these NFT tokens will rise. But you are right that you should not speculate with these NFT tokens.

I have seen some celebrity NFT cards last year including major sports personality and some of them sold at really high valuations but they never had the perks mentioned as far as i remember like spending time with the celebrity or having dinner. Trump is a businessman and he knows how to give importance to the investors but i wonder how he will be finding time for all these Cheesy.

I saw this news and I couldn't help but wonder how and why now. I just think that this news isn't real or probably framed. But if the news is real, I will assume its a good one for the crypto community. Is anyone thinking alike?
This news is real. This thread has links to original sources and to interviews with Trump.

It remains a mystery to me who are these people who are putting up Trump's NFT at the price of 100,000,000,000,000 ETH? Such a number is even theoretically difficult to imagine. Do they even know that Total Supply is currently 122,373,866 ETH?
Regular trolling. Trump is an elderly man who understands nothing about cryptocurrencies and NFTs. But he or his assistants hired the wrong people, and now these events are playing against him. I reject the earnings version, Trump is a billionaire.
If making money is out of the table for you there are still a few possible explanations for his behavior, one is simply that since he knew the previous statements he has given before this was a way to create controversy about himself and get free publicity, another reason may be that his assessors have told him that his posture about this market could play a factor during the next election, and with this move he is trying to show he is more open than in the past without actually saying it.
If Trump were to support cryptocurrencies, then he would probably have a higher rating among the users of cryptocurrencies, and the collection of NFTs would not attract many voters to his side.

I'm thinking about what needs to happen for you to believe this news? This thread is full of links, including a link to a tweet that Trump left on his own TRUTH SOCIAL platform. So now there is no question whether this is true or not, you just need to accept the fact that Trump also decided to advertise himself in this way.

I also read the news regarding Donald Trump's NFT. What I think is because even this NFT was made maybe with the permission of Donald Trump himself. and there is no doubt that this will be related to politics. But what I'm thinking is is it possible that Donald Trump will now be more open and interested in the Cryptocurrency Industry. if true, then this would be a pretty positive thing in the cryptocurrency world.

To not contradict his previous statement, he should have launched a physical cards' campaign asking for payments exclusively in dollar, since he is totally in favour of his native currency. Cheesy
But then he couldn't wash money as efficiently. Remember top top of that he gets 5% maker fees.
If i had to wash money i would definitely choose my own NFT trading card collection as a platform for doing that. It would be really hard to prove that people didn't like and buy them and then i only would need to keep pouring my own dirty eth to the machine.

I am guessing that some people are tracking every movement on that chain closely in order to catch him.

"I loved the art,” Trump said in the interview. “I’m looking at this stuff and I’m saying, ‘that’s sort of cute, that might sell.’ It set like a record. It’s been incredible.”

Well of course it needs to be a made up "like a record" for trump. What a sad old salesman.

//So those who wanted to buy this NFT, but did not have time, can do it on OpenSea, the floor price is currently 0.408 ETH ..

It seems that interest in this collection has decreased, which is confirmed by the fact that the floor price is now 0.164 ETH. Nevertheless, such a decrease in the price had a positive effect on purchases, since the number of purchases for the last day is approximately equal to the number of purchases for the first day.

I think changing of ideas is alright as long as you really mean the ideas, but changing or at least appearing to change your idea on behalf of making a profit is the issue. If he came out and tweeted he is interested in crypto now, and think there could be a future there, nobody would have been bothered about it at all.

But the last time he spoke about crypto was when he was against it, and now the latest one is him selling his NFT to make millions, and nothing in between. Do not be shocked about the fact that most people will think this is just about money and nothing else, which is normal for someone like him, he is a cunning and a terrible businessman after all.
This is the way I think as well, Trump is an opportunist, so the fact that is selling his own NFTs means absolutely nothing when it comes to his beliefs about this market, he just wants to make money, an attitude that is no different than what the newbies that come to the forum think about becoming millionaires, the difference is that Trump due to his fortune and fame does not have to play the same way as them and he can create his own NFTs which some people will want to buy just because he is the one selling them.
Trump is a famous and wealthy businessman. These people don't have much scruples when the goal is to make money. They change their opinions overnight, if it's going to favour themselves somehow. I also remember when he said he was totally in favour of dollar currency and against bitcoin, because bitcoin could harm dollar on long term, and some time later he said that, his wife started a NFT art pieces campaign accepting payments in SOLANA, and now Trump himself has his own NFT cards campaign as well.

To not contradict his previous statement, he should have launched a physical cards' campaign asking for payments exclusively in dollar, since he is totally in favour of his native currency. Cheesy

I remembered that in 2019 Trump had a tweet about Cryptocurrency, at this time he did not believe in crypto. I can't even see it on his Twitter now but I have a picture.

In 2019, many representatives of the world's major banks said very loudly that cryptocurrency is a scam, and according to my latest data, 7 out of 10 major global banks provide cryptocurrency services to their clients now. In the cryptocurrency world, everything is changing very quickly, so it makes no sense to remember what was said a few years ago.

It means he could sell NFT's with absolutely no worth at all, no utility, no usecase, just to make sure that his followers would gobble it up and he could make some money out of it. And he is doing exactly that right now as well, he is just trying to make a buck. Some people are like that, they care about money more than they care about ethics or morality of it, and I understand, it's just in some peoples nature.
Trump's NFT has a use case like he said.
Each NFT that you will buy will give you a chance to have a special dinner with him, play in his golf course with him and have some souvenirs with a signature from him. That's it's use case.

It's kinda funny TBH knowing that he already said a few years ago that he is against cryptocurrency. I guess there is a group of people behind this project and they just asked permission to Trump to help them and in return, Trump will get a portion of the total revenue. Well, the 44,000 NFT that has been minted has been sold after a day only and if you will compute it, the company earned at least around $4.2M from it.

Most of those who bought these NFT's are probably his blind supporters who believed on the things that they can get once they bought one. Well, good luck to those who bought one.

I don't know if this the news is legit since I don't see any tweet from Donald Trump himself but if it happened to be true it will be a cringworthy NFT, I'm sure that many will agree with me. I don't see myself purchasing this kind of NFT since I'm not a fan of trump and I also don't like the possible utility he said about his card infomercial. I would personally choose a quality NFT over this if I was given a chance.

Though this can convert some boomer fans into being open minded with crypto but yeah I hope that this isn't real.
Yeah, i dont know if this one is real or not but pretty sure only Trump fans and supporters are the only ones who would really be buying these NFT's and the rest would just simply mehhhhh. Cheesy
NFT hype is almost over but cant be still sure since we are on a bear market and we dont know if there would be some comebacks or something like that.
I dont know on why they had touched up with this NFT thingy or maybe just they do really just wanted to do so.

Of they most likely just made an illegal sale of securities and get fined for it in the future. Then again it could be both. Or something more worse, after all this is Team Trump we are talking about.

this guy's timings are really getting super wrong. Creating this collection at a time like this is a bit ridiculous to me, I don't think it will attract much attention. He didn't say very positive things about Bitcoin and the crypto market, if his thoughts changed, maybe he would get more attention if he explained the reasons why his thoughts changed. Donald Trump does whatever comes to mind, he's not a very consistent person. His fans are loved by so many, he's usually the type to act as he pleases.
He may not seem consistent because you are evaluating his actions based on an ideology that he may follow, however Trump at his core cares about only one thing and that is the amount of money in his bank account, and when you evaluate his actions using this metric you will see that his actions make sense, if he can sell a bunch of useless NFTs and make money for himself or for his upcoming campaign then he does not care if he has to depend on cryptocurrencies, even if he has criticized them a lot on the years prior to this.

I had such an idea that with Donald Trump existing wealth, he could buy out part of the NFT, creating a stir around this collection. Obviously, Trump could not afford that this collection would remain unclaimed and this would show the attitude of the crypto community to his person.

But I will never be interested in this I don't want to spend money just for something which is not clear it would be better to invest in something else and the NFT is one I have never considered owning one.
I think things got to a point in which it is simply better to not give any attention to the NFT market anymore, things were pretty crazy when somehow people got caught buying useless images for hundreds of thousands of dollars, so while this is news because Trump which is a former president of the US is doing it, this is no different than all the people that create hundreds of NFTs believing themselves to be artists overnight, and as such we must ignore it if we can.

Do you think Donald’s fans will get scammed? That’s the whole idea about NFT’s. It is not Donald’s fault if people want to get scammed.
What are you talking about? So it's not a scammers fault when he scams people? It's victim's own fault because they are stupid? Let me remind you of this next time you get hacked. Just because you can use social engineering to scam people it doesn't mean it would be right thing to do.

However most of these people probably are not buying it because they think they are worth anything, unless people start to wash money with them, which they most likely do now that i think of it.

Any other ex president that would have done this would just give the money to charity, Trump just keeps it and has creator fee of 10%.

At some point he most likely will be bragging how big this is going to be, which makes me think at some point this will get investigated as a illegal sale of securities.

It is primarily a source of income and advertising was also planned. In the USA, opinions are certainly different than in Germany, where it is not so popular. The fact that with the NFT you have a chance to have dinner with him or a zoom call is okay, but for $4,500 a lunch it's not cheap. Basically, I see it as a 90% source of income. And the fact that he thinks Bitcoin is bad, makes him to the unpopular person of the day.

I understand that there is no longer an opportunity to buy Trump's NFT for $99, since the entire collection is sold out. I find NFT’s a stupid idea but it doesn’t change the fact that anybody can create them… Donald can too. So what? What does it matter to you why he did it? The reason could be anything… Does it bother you? Well you can get bothered and you can’t do anything about it other than getting bothered by it.

Biden is free to create his own shit tokens too. Nobody can stop him if he wants to the same thing as Donald.

There could be many reasons for it. Funding of his political campaigns can be one major reasons for such NFTs. Because a lot of rich people in US follows right wing political leader like him. So probably some of his associates have found this as a way to make money out of his fame. But anyway, it's a stupid step! His party may be able to sum up few millions through this NFT staff but that won't help him in connecting back with the people of US.

I also think that this release is for his political campaign.  To market himself and somehow get a fundings for his plans.  Though I am skeptical that this project is hosted by Donald Trump. We know there are lots of frauds happening in the cryptocurrency NFT sector where some people take advantage of the current and possible incoming event to take profit.  Until this project is mentioned on Trump's account, I would not believe this one even a bit.

Donald Trump, when he was president, tweeted that cryptocurrencies were dangerous and their pricing was taken out of thin air. Two years have passed and now the former cryptocurrency critic is issuing cryptocurrencies himself. What is this, hypocrisy, double standards or an epiphany? I'm sure if he becomes president again, he will again write the same mantras about bitcoin being a scam and cryptocurrencies being a bubble.

This is definitely fake one because trump has his account blocked right? I’m mean there is no way he could have tweeted it anyways. With that said, there is also no official news about the NFT and trump. I’m also highly positive that trump does not have that much potential to go beyond the lines and launch an NFT marketplace. That would be really funny to see by the way. I can imagine there could be NFT with face of trump all over it. Funny but could be true.

About those Christmas cards I don’t know may be they are trying to raise funds for their little campaigns.

If you look at this article Trump announces 99$ digital Trading Card it seems that the tone has changed of his speech about crypto. Former president Donald Trump released 45k NFT which he announced on his own social media platform which is TRUTH SOCIAL.

And NFTs can be minted on the Polygon network for 99$, using payment in ETH or Fiat currency.
Another benefit that can be obtained from these NFTs is a "Guaranteed ticket to a Gala dinner with Trump where the condition is that you buy 45 NFTs at once. And most likely the ones who will do this are those who support Trump in the U.S

I remembered that in 2019 Trump had a tweet about Cryptocurrency, at this time he did not believe in crypto. I can't even see it on his Twitter now but I have a picture.

But now 2022 is what Donald Trump is saying

Well, it's a good development of acceptance, even though he didn't say literally that He supported NFT which is a part of a growing crypto ecosystem. Because it still has a good past for NFT enthusiasts who used to be critics but now promoting Their own NFTs.

For fun? Idk this seems just like a rich man playing with things he can play with. Maybe he's playing his cards so that NFT bros stand with him for reelections (which won't happen, unless they were already standing there in the first place) or something similar. I honestly wouldn't even consider buying NFTs, not just his, but any type really unless you want it as a collection of sorts. There are also some side benefits with his Lottery-esque system, but I honestly would not buy it just for that. Maybe as a resell to earn money, which is what most would probably do.

Wheres the source OP? I didnt find any tweet as well of him having these kind of perks. But I think if these are the privileges then its good also for those fanbase of trumps. There are many who likes Trump and having these kind of perks will surely hit some of the nft collector and rip of those benefits.

Thinking of early politicking can't be gone because he plans to run again after the term of Biden is done.

Well, it's like any other people that are releasing their NFT so it doesn't matter a lot because everyone can issue their NFTs and have those benefits like that you've mentioned.

That's the use case of it but not that odd anymore.

Grifting? I mean this dude is famous for grifting, he sold houses twice, he kicked thousands of blacks out of their homes and built big skyscrapers to put rich people in, his entire life was about making a buck, no matter what the ethical question is all about.

45,000 NFTs at $100 is a very small amount in the end. I think he started selling his NFTs at the wrong time when the hype was over. But such people always do such actions for their own benefit, maybe this is one way to appear modern in the new election campaign in 2024.
I think this is the correct answer, Trump has been very clear about his idea that the US dollar must reign supreme over all the other currencies, so how can we interpret this move by Trump? More than the money this is to show the young people which may be interested in him that he can adapt to the times and support this market, and even if it should be clear he will never do that, he wants to give the impression he could to gain votes during the next election.

I don't really know, why the reason he going to NFTs.
Because he is broke and wants attention. Do we have to look deeper? I can't wait him to brag how valuable they will be in the future and because of it, whole event would be illegal sale of securities.

When i got the Twitter account @nftcollector i knew NFTs would be big but this is just pathetic and surreal.

We are definitely not have seen the bottom yet. This is one of the strongest signals for market crash.

It sold out within a short time frame, maybe people sought it or just want to flip it in the future. After all, it's not that high compare to other collections but you don't need to tokenized it maybe Trump is just living the hype of NFTs these days. To anyone, if you're a collector then it's fine but for those that wants utility maybe you need to review it first like, "do you really need it?".

I didn't know NFTs have gone this far, if Trump will actually issue his own NFT just indicate how far this trend has really gone. Although I have seen this news in other news outlets so I can not say for certain this is legit news. it is possible it is fake news

One thing I know is NFTs are still very active, those who think the hype has died down, that could be possible because what is happening now is - most of the NFT projects created for quick cash are dying and giving room for more legit and standard NFT projects.

It's funny, he sold his soul for NFTs.

He already a billionaire, why need to push him self into "NFTs" things. I tough this of collection is just a bunch of scammer who want to using his name, but if it's a true collection from him.

I don't really know, why the reason he going to NFTs.

I just wanted to make a thread on this matter.
Just yesterday, Donald Trump announced the launch of his own NFT cards, $99 each. They could be bought with Ethereum, not just fiat. There's a very weird video of Trump presenting this product, being so full of himself but also looking kind of like an old version of Homelander from the Boys, yet somehow not realizing that it isn't a good thing. According to the website, the cards are already sold out. In terms of sources, there's the official website but also legit media articles like this one.
Given Trump's problematic reputation, this might not be good publicity for NFTs and Ethereum, so I'm kind of happy Bitcoin was no part of this campaign.

Former President Donald Trump may have issued his group of NFTs for purely political purposes, although he denied that this group of NFTs is related to his political aspirations only to keep up with modern technology, and it is worth noting that the price of one NFT is only one hundred dollars, and this is a very cheap amount compared to many NFTs For many other famous people, and compared to the privileges that its holders will receive, they can attend a dinner party with him in Palm Beach, Florida, or even meet him. Frankly, I liked Trump's group of NFTs, but they are not professional. In these NFTs, Trump's face appears as a cartoon on the bodies of Astronauts, fighters, and superheroes, and it's good that Donald will be the second person after his wife from the Trump family to get involved in the virtual world. The arena of NFTs is constantly growing, and it is great to see many celebrities worldwide promoting and getting involved with it.

His wife has already launched a NFT campaign years ago on Solana chain. He must be following the same strategy for profits. I suspect these collections are means of laundering money, since there aren't limits on how much a NFT should cost. It can cost 1$ or 1,000,000$, depending the buyer. And no one will say it doesn't worth that price, because everything on this niche is subjective, just like physical art pieces.

You see many influent people creating NFTs and making huge profits by selling them, however, if an average internet user follows the recipe and creates a NFT collection on his own, he won't be able to sell it at all for a single penny...

I can't give a personal opinion on former US President Donald Trump's NFTs or infer the underlying purpose of their publication. However, it can be argued that NFTs (non-fungible tokens) have become an increasingly popular trend in recent years, with many celebrities and other individuals issuing their own NFTs. NFTs can be a way for celebrities or other individuals to connect with the fan base and offer unique and limited content or experiences. However, as with all digital assets, it is important for potential buyers to consider the risks and evaluate whether the NFT purchase is a wise investment.

As far as I know, he hasn't come back to twitter yet, so how can you see he will announce with his tweet? I also looked at the news and I think it's true.
Former US President Donald Trump was once said to have no interest in cryptocurrencies, but now his release of the NFT collection on blockchain polygon shows that everyone will know about cryptocurrency and will accept it one day. Crypto is inevitable, everyone will use it and it is the future of our world.
