I have invested some money in Ripple. It has got own advantages and disadvantages like it is cheap but majority is controlled by developers. However, I think that it should reach $5 by the end of this year for sure.

Ripple is developing, but this is a far cry from Bitcoin or Ethereum. Investors are now moving into bonus projects instead of trading on the trading floors. The risk in the current situation is very high, I think there will be a place to take the digital coins to make future trading currency as the countries with developed economies.

I doubt if it is a good investment, just imagine a 1 billion coin that will be added every month, you tell me when will this coin get pump even up to $50. Maybe it is good for short trade but I would still not do it because 1 single mistake would rekt your investment.

As you know a lot of banks use XRP and they do not need high volatility tokens
And maybe we will not see a great growth of this token but in long term it may happen 

I hope ripple is not dead yet. I'm confident that this coin will show a good performance. The movement of the price depends on the acceptance by banks and the developers have very big plans. I think that ripple can be bought for a long-term storage.

Its important for people like you to read about the coin first and read its whitepaper before speaking things that aren’t possible or are pure non-sense. If you read carefully, 39T XRP is the circulating supply and the total supply is 99T but they cannot release all the XRP tokens at once.

Those coins are not held by the ripple company, they are held in escrow and according to the legal documents, and only some portion of those held XRP tokens can be released every month to fund the company if necessary. Therefore, I won’t worry about 99T XRP circulating in the market any time soon for at least 10-20 years.

As far as ripple is concerned it has excellent features which could be well implemented by banks as well and Ripple has been undervalued for a long time until the reCrnt pump last year but the only drawback is most of the users think it's centralized.

I am very much hopeful with Ripple. This is the only coin whose developer have succeeded in getting a  lot of investors.

Though the total supply is 99T and the circulating supply is 39T, I won’t fear about them releasing all the coins in the market, cause as far as I know the coins are held in escrow and only part of it can be released every month. Indeed its backed up by large banks and financial institutions and money transfers such as money gram and western union , we aren’t seeing significant growth in its value is due to the reason that it is still in the piloting phase with many institutions and is yet to be implemented.

Once it gets implemented, transaction in trillions of dollars will happen through XRP every day which will increase the trade volume as well as burn some part of XRP in each transaction reducing the supply. This will surely skyrocket the price of XRP in the near future.

Well, it’s the safest investment in the crypto market according to me. XRP is the only crypto in the whole market that has some real world applications and solves financial problems for banks and money transfers. XRP is the most well established crypto currency in the whole crypto market with most number of successful partnerships with huge firms and institutions.

XRP is not just better in terms of transaction speed and less fees, its highly scalable and its liquidity in just awesome. Doesn’t really matter if its centralized, until it has blockchain technology that proves of real utility in the market. Many news say that this coin is backed by large conpanies but I cannot see much growth in it.

Lot of noise around that coin but nothing exact. Nobody is buying it, half of people are writing here "XRP is miracle!" another half: "XRP is disaster". And so on.

Xrp is a good coin for investment purposes. It is transparent but can also be subject to market manipulation like most others.

Ripple XRP might seem like a proper investment to make money on though people need to know that the initial price of the coin was set at a really low level. Less than $0.01 is what makes people not want to invest in that coin, it has a higher chance of a dump than a pump.

Just an hyped centralized currency is what I see it as. No good news, no bad news, and the only reason I can keep it is for trade purposes only not for its usage. They have tried pretty much to push it to where it is and it surely has some support, not surprised. So, there is possibility of it still thriving in the market. It is all about the profit, ain't it ? However, you should be on the lookout cause it is a manipulated coin and anything can go wrong.

It would really be a lambo time indeed if it ever reaches $1. The thing is as much as most people do not like the idea of this currency, it has had some major development over the years. The fear is just that, it is a controlled coin and the chances of it facing some disaster later on might be possible, but since we absolutely cannot see the future, we might just hope the lambo days arrive.

Ripple is a newcomer who will touch the high price in the next few years. XRP is now practically cheap, and with the platform they have, XRP is a coin that has a good project.

I think XRP will be huge in a few years' time. Give it time though, banks move quite slowly and Ripple need to build liquidity in the target corridors. Once it all matures, XRP could be the standard method for international transfers.

Very right, but right now I think there is no project even close to being positioned as favourable as Ripple is. As has been mentioned, Ripple already has real partnerships going on with some of the biggest financial institutions as they are using their distributed ledger. Building on that, Ripple has hugely influential contacts within this industry and made pretty good progress in getting the word about XRP - as well as its huge cost-saving potential - spread within the community.

That said, there is still a lot of uncertainty whether banks will or will not adopt digital currencies (e.g. for replacement of Nostro Accounts or for International cross-currency payment settlement), let alone whether this will be XRP. This is mainly due to great regulatory challenges involved in international bank-payments (although Ripple from the beginning was trying to work together with regulators to ensure compliance).

In sum, XRP not only has a (trillion-dollar market cap) real life use-case (in contrast to a lot of other cryptos), but also has made good progress  and is diligently working to put it in place. When this succeeds you will be very glad you invested. However, until then it is still a looooooong way to go and many things could go wrong; so, in my opinion, this is truly a long-term investment (as opposed to what some commenters were stating here).

In my opinion, Ripple is a good coin to invest for long term and they have a special product for global banking with very low transaction fee and many banks using their project already and it can make a big fortune for the holders of this coin. it will go to the moon slowly but give better returns in long run.

To be honest, i really do not like ripple that much. Just happened to get some because of an irrational decision. But still, I do not want to sell what I possess just yet. At the end of the day, everyone bitched about Windows and the glitches and whatnot.. but few people took the time to learn to code.
