Reviving this thread with an update concerning this bollox exchange.

Currently they have 15 of their wallets "temporarily disabled" - including the BTC one.

I use them for 3 different coins - all of them are disabled, 2 of them for weeks.

I have a missing BTC deposit with no reply from support.

What a completely incompetent exchange Poloniex is! I would not recommend this place to anyone - avoid at all costs!

Thanks for all your input people, much appreciated.

I got an email today saying it has now been verified & thanking me for my patience.....lol  My patience had run out weeks ago along with my confidence in their operation, so doubt I'll bother with them TBH. I regret sending them my ID now too, never done that before & will certainly never do it again.

Back to Bisq, LBC & Binance then...... Wink

Do they normally ignore customer support tickets?
Am I the only one that has problems with them?

The answers to the first question is yes, and the second one is no.

As this thread says, I guess the reason for the verification taking so long is because of the fact that some other exchanges have decided to close registrations and poloniex is experiencing a high amount of signups and verifications, for which they simply do not have the manpower for. But that's really just the official version.

In reality, they've been pretty crap on the support end of things since forever, and there were always delays for verification anyways. I've seen cases like this since last year, so it's not surprising that you're experiencing the same delays.

I have no idea why you reverted back to "unverified", however.

So I guess my questions are:

WTF are they playing at?
Are they always so slow?
Do they normally ignore customer support tickets?
Am I the only one that has problems with them?

I wanted a reliable, legit exchange with good, responsive support - am I wasting my time with Polo?

Thanks.

If you really want a reliable, legit exchange with even an OK support, you're looking entirely in the opposite direction with polo.

Even after Circle buying them, it seems like they have made no progress.

Their customer support has been going downhill ever since the start of last year. First their support stops responding, then they remove the poloniex trollbox, and then there were a whole lot of issues with ID verification.

They are slow. One of the worst exchanges out there available to use that people actually still visit.

Do they normally ignore customer support tickets?
Back into the years when they are just starting and in the top spot they are really responsive but nowadays they are messed up with their service and so as with their support.

Am I the only one that has problems with them?
Hundreds of users for sure do have the same problems as yours.

This is why im skipping on using up their exchange and do jump with bittrex and so as with Binance.

WTF are they playing at?

they are arrogant because they know that there is always going to be somebody to use their exchange

Are they always so slow?

They are very slow already years ago, I remember in the times of trollbox where they provided an acceptable service, but they destroyed poloniex and became equal to yobit

Do they normally ignore customer support tickets?

hahahaha

this is the problem of all exchange, unfortunately

Am I the only one that has problems with them?

Nope, there are thousands of people in the same situation

Yes. Honestly, you should just give up and try a different exchange. It's been a while since Poloniex is in decay, "going backwards with its volumes"[1] and never improving their support. If you want to trade altcoins, I recommend you to try Binance (it doesn't require any KYC/AML verification).

While I completely agree with what TryNinja said, I very much doubt that Poloniex is experiencing an influx of new users -- this exchange is only going backwards with its volumes, and everything points at an outflow of users instead of the opposite. Less volume means less usage, which should be an important and decisive indicator. Binance is swallowing the far majority of the users, followed up by Bittrex, which opened its registrations very recently. If this downfall of Poloniex continues, and I have no reason to think otherwise, they will be covered under a thick layer of other exchanges doing better business. Feel sorry for Poloniex though.

24 hour volumes.

Poloniex 6400 BTC
Bittrex 70,000 BTC
Binance 200,000 BTC

Sure, Verge is pushing some serious volumes, but even without Verge, Poloniex heavily lags behind, and that for months straight, and only falls further.

Hello all,

Many weeks back I begrudgingly went through the Poloniex verification procedure & waited patiently.....& waited.....& waited, logging in now & again to check the progress, if any, but there was none.

Eventually I opened a ticket a few weeks ago to ask what the delay was & if there was any way to speed up the process - I got no reply.

When I logged on again a few days ago to check for any progress I was greeted with an "Unverified" message instead of the usual "Pending Review", with no explanation & still no reply to my support ticket.

So I guess my questions are:

WTF are they playing at?
Are they always so slow?
Do they normally ignore customer support tickets?
Am I the only one that has problems with them?

I wanted a reliable, legit exchange with good, responsive support - am I wasting my time with Polo?

Thanks.
