Topic: What's going on with the Kick token and it's 888888 Frozendrop? (Read 827 times)
I'm just tired of SEEING these 888,888 KICK in my iOS Coinbase Wallet that I cannot possibly use, because I'm located in the USA, so I'm in one of those "banned" countries. Ugh! So, how can I actually get rid of these tokens in my wallet? I want them GONE! I'd give them away if I could! Send them into the heart of the sun... THAT would sure burn them!
The whole team is scammers, freezing investors coins every couple years. I lost hundred of thousands in my cold wallet and many others also. There is many better tokens in crypto for better safer long term investment where you will always have your tokens.

Yes, apparently these tokens will remain useless in my wallet. Only a cryptocurrency that has good liquidity and which we can dispose of at any time is of value. What is given for free may not be of significant value. They called this one Frozendrop. It's a kind of promotion. These tokens are locked. You can't move them. In order to unlock the token you have to trade on their exchange and based on your commission/fee your token will be unlocked. If you're unable to unlock them All of these token will be burned after a specific period. This is what i have learned from their article.
yes maybe that's their way of promotion to introduce their project, but it seems that not many people are interested in this project, because they do spam transactions on a certain wallet address, I think it is distributed free to all users who get it in the wallet, unfortunately it is only a promotional token where to unlock it have to trade on their exchange

I actually remember this project from back in the 2017 and there has been a decent amount of hype around it. I feel sorry for their early investors, I see the team has managed to completely screw up the project with cheap marketing tricks and zero substance, good thing I did not fall for their bs back in the 2017 ICO craze.

No wonder a token initially has a high selling value and ends badly. Especially with the first KICK token you got at that time of course it had a high selling value and now you can see for yourself how the project is going, even the current KICK Token price is around $ 12.

At first, it looked suspicious to me, Just imagine they are giving you easily 88888 Kick tokens for what? they called it an airdrop, a frozen airdrop just to draw supporters. Just like what Coinsbit exchange is doing they give us 5000 CNB tokens as an airdrop at first there is no condition just sign up but in the end, they want us to do KYC with strict and limited period to comply I would not give easily my data with that few pennies thats how they manipulated us. Agreed, they made a pump and then the price dropped more than 100 times in just a short time. Hopefully no one will invest in this project because it's really bullshit and a scamI have sold my kick when to reached the peak price a few years ago and it looks like the team gets inspired by how bitcoin fork coin has attracted the demand through use airdrop.

I have always told everyone to be weary of that amount that was distributed for the airdrop. You are even noticing a value because the coins or tokens are frozen. Once they get unfrozen, the dump will be epic and those 888,888 tokens will basically be worthless. I a completely sure that the unfreezing of those tokens will take longer Than first stated. My advice to anyone is to not expect anything much from that airdrop.
I really don't think there was any special thing attached to the kick coin team sending frozen token , perhaps that was a way to promote the token, I also got the token but I never applied for it, they really want to create awareness and strategies to make the price of their coin go up.

there is no way he can sell the tokens he receive that time because its frozen no airdrop receiver are able to sell any single coins in exchange that time. Guys, did you notice how Kick token manipulated the crypto market? A few days ago, those 888888 kick token showing 700$ worthy in my account, I checked in CMC and was shocked that Kicktoken is in top 30 rank and Marketcap is huge! Then again after 2 days, the value dumped to 120$ and I did not find the KICK token in top 80 rank in CMC! Therefore why they are giving some frozen 6 digits token to most of the crypto supporter!?
The big question is would you trust a project like this who keeps manipulating the market and they do not have a concrete plan on their airdrops, their airdrop is a big temptation for investors to invest I prefer investing in Minerium who also drops a huge amount, but they have a working platform, if these two airdrops are adopted we will see more similar airdrops, airdropping huge amount of their tokens.

This is not shocking, do you think developers will really give you that amount randomly? They are set to locked the tokens only but to unlock on their desire time and period. Actually this is a form of fraud and deception. Come on, the value was never $600 for these tokens, it may be some bug in your mew wallet that displayed wrong value and if the value was that high it was of no value for all airdrop holders because they cannot move these tokens.
I think if the team and the project is serious they should come up with proper details and announcement about what was the purpose of this airdrop and how and when these tokens will be unlocked?

Most airdrops usually end up in nothing and there is no exception for kick tokens as well, it seems.
I tried to move the kick tokens I have received but my MEW always showed some error and never allowed to make a transactions and then I started leaving it off. Last I checked in kucoin, kick were heavily dumped and all the tokens I received not worth to try to sell them for ETH. I am not sure why not ETH devs stop such planned mess ups to be happening into their platform. They must freeze the entire contract address itself.
I guess some tokens tried to misbehave like kick in waves platform, devs took some steps for the welfare for all the waves holders. Even it is not part of decentralization, I liked and appreciated such act. Scammers need full swing punishments so we may need to sacrifice some of our basic norms.

The exchange is very nice and now on real money for testing, planned to be release soon, if i not mistaken if everything ok with testing next week will be live for everybody. very good strategy from Developer and i believe the coin will exploded soon.
Have you tried that? as far as i know, if there was no people have ever tried to use kickex. The frozen airdrop is a marketing trick only. It's too far to call the token will be exploded while the current kick token is dying right now. The team is always delaying the launch of the exchange site.

I have KICK tokens in my wallet, and I tried to send them week ago and I couldn't! I thought I am doing something wrong, but here it is, other people have the same problem. Are they crazy enough to trap new investors with token that can't be transferred!? I got my tokens from airdrop, but new investors who bought this token are very disappointed.
Kick Token project is in developing phase as they have now there owned exchange and the token is active from a long time. price manipulation is normal as there are hundreds of coins/token which daily pump and again dump. In my opinion, the Kick team is promising and the project will boost up as soon as they launch the exchange and other future programs.
I hope they do they are losing reputation because their coin has just become a pump and dump coin it goes up then goes down and until now we don't know if the airdrops are really worth it, how soon are their soon they have given a very huge airdrops and keeps giving more, looks like they are tempting the community with the huge amount of airdrops.

yeah, agree, it was a planned scam from the start, but had innovative marketing strategy included, and people fall for it, following projects with same strategy would probably not be that successful, but will take some money for sure, people are greedy and that is why these scams are successful in the first place

RIP for other users who really holding this token by buying the token, you need to pass KYC and Trading on their exchange to unlock the frozen token. That's why I said the token is worthless.

In my opinion, the Kick team is promising and the project will boost up as soon as they launch the exchange and other future programs.

The whole idea of these 888,888 tokens were to made people buy pumped tokens on exchange, and this airdrops is just a reminder you cant get rid off. Every time you open your ETH wallet, kick tokens will remind you that there are exchanges where they are traded.

Actually, it's a good marketing strategy. I too received the frozen airdrop few weeks back. Before the airdrop I didn't even know what KICK is, now I and most the users who received the tokens know that they are an exchange. Why did they pump the prices up before airdropping? Because, nobody will bother to look into a token worth few dollars, so they just manipulated prices during the airdrop and made some newbies believe that they received some KICK worth several hundred dollars for free. Since, the token are locked and no specific time has been given by the team about the unlock, I highly doubt they'll come up some fancy idea of requesting users to deposit funds into their exchange and start trading to get your address whitelisted to move the tokens. Beware, if they come up such an idea and don't put funds into their exchange to move your airdrop.

A few days ago, those 888888 kick token showing 700$ worthy in my account, I checked in CMC and was shocked that Kicktoken is in top 30 rank and Marketcap is huge! Then again after 2 days, the value dumped to 120$ and I did not find the KICK token in top 80 rank in CMC! Therefore why they are giving some frozen 6 digits token to most of the crypto supporter!?
If you ask for my opinion, the kick token project is a waste of fund assuming you have intention to invest in it. They're just manipulating the price of the token to decieve gullible Investors into FOMO-ing into Investing in their project with anticipation of profiting from future price gain when all they happen is the developers dumping their bags on news Investors.
The airdrop was just a strategic plan to create awareness about the project and it worked beautifully. There isn't any intention to unfroze those tokens, they'll keep extending it until they're done with their evil intention.

Once I wished to get those airdrop tokens, as people saying it is free money, but when I asked in their group when these tokens will get unlocked, their answer was horrible. So, I don't think they will ever unlock that frozen drop. Kick token is a suspicious project, they are very good at manipulation, every trader knows about it. So, try to ignore this shit, and move on!
they are only sending it for free for a new way of advetising . If people notice thier wallet have a kicktoken which value is higher they might be attempt to buy that tokens if they see its at low price .That whats kicktoken team thinking then they manipulate the price to increase before selling it to people . I know this raised large money so its easy for them to manipulate the price of thier tokens if they bought many in low price.

I guess they just gave away free money to people, what were you expecting? How can a coin that basically gave away thousands of their coin for free ever go up? What is mathematically possible? What would the people who received the free money would do? Just buy more along with their free ones and not sell it and hold it?

It seems like this token has been manipulated by the developers themselves when yesterday's bullrun came and was discarded again with a large number of tokens. These tokens are now getting further away from the top ranking and currently at 1165 at CMC. Is that real increase yesterday?
Having the top KICK coin yesterday did not have because it was not sold because it was locked for too long. Is this possible their strategy is good like this?

They are sending these tokens to almost every ETH address and trying to manipulate the crypto market.
I have received these KICK tokens too and when I tried to withdraw it to Kucoin I got an error saying invalid transaction.
When I did a research on it I found out that these tokens are frozen by the team and and they are planning on to send 8888888 tokens to many more ETH addresses.
They also said that if anybody who has not received these tokens and wish to get it should by 5,000,000 tokens and then they will receive the extra 888888 tokens.
So it's pretty much a scam thing they are doing.

You should have realized that pump / dump is common in crypto so there is no need to panic or anything, after all people say the token cannot be sold and also the daily volume is very low and of course this does not make sense for a ranking of 30 tokens.

Yeah very notieable since they arent stable on ranking on CMC. Also if you used the gainers and losers during the time of $700 you will see them on and off. Its quite frustrating to know how the airdrop of kick token really affect the said price. Airdroppers are gone insane due to their locked up tokens and prettt obvious that the project wouldnt unlock it anytime sooner.

The kick token to me is a joke that shouldn't be taken serious.
Because if you read through their terms to release the free tokens, you would wonder if anyone had indeed begged to have received the token.
Lets wait until they clarify their token unlock procudures so we can fully confirm their intent.

Well they distribute that token to only to get attention for ethereum holders.The free 888888 tokens is send randomly i dont know how they choose if those wallet is eligible to recieve the tokens but its too many people recieve it and it will cost damage to the price of kicktoken after the frozen time finish.
They want to earn from it before buy manipulating the price of that tokens before people are able to sell it.
