Kev, you guys are doing well and I know GodDog is working to increase the transaction fees. It'll be sorted out soon.

As far  as this so called spamming the chain, when the newcomers come to bitcoin the first places they head to are sites like ours. It is what captures most of their attention and is one of the main reasons they stick around and learn. All the view and click to earn sites have mass amounts of micro-transactions. We send them all out in large block instead of all day long.

Sending one transaction a day out is hardly spamming by any means. If a single send of a transaction this size causes that much stress as you would lead a person to believe the blockchain could be crippled in a heartbeat.

We return over 70% of the coins gotten back to the newcomers and they appreciate it and it would take you just a few minutes to see the appreciation of the site vs. anything negative. So if sending a single transaction this size is weighed against the service provided it leads to only one conclusion.

While we work on the sending of the funds to the users we will find the best balance we can and if you have a solution lay it on me. It is a fine line of giving the users what they want and managing the fees and getting things to flow in the best manner. We will continue to work to improve all areas of this and will come up with a solution.

We send basically no more than the most used faucets in the course of a day and are just short of if not the number 1 view sites to earn in bitcoin. I think the service provided far outweighs the single send of payments to our users without a doubt.

Thanks to all the users and good things are to come.

Kev

Hm, it is a freebie site and I talked to the owner about increasing the fee, they have one set fee which is too low. I am getting them to adjust it per kb
Kudos!

It's a spam transaction without a fee. I don't see a problem if it's not making itself into a block. Would actually be bad if it did get confirmed!

Aaaaaand.. it's gone.

Maybe you need a larger fee than 0.0005 for a 11.5k byte transaction.

Interesting, it finally disappeared. Its a block that CV sent out with payments, at 12:35 AM ET on 2/28/13. It probably finally got deleted. Though its still showing up as unconfirmed in my client. Maybe he can resend it now.
the client will automatically rebroadcast transactions if it isn't confirmed.
