What would be more interesting to hear is their supported countries list. I hope this is not another EEA-exclusive service like the first iteration.

nope, it's only for EEA residents.

The chances of finding an EU serve with KYC-less cards nowadays is almost zero.
I had to ask... because it's beta testing Wink
There are a few non-kyc cards available from other providers but they are only virtual.

Bitwala will hate me for asking this, but can you share some providers that you would recommend?
i'm currently using noon's virtual card, but if i can find a better non-kyc alternative that accepts international users, that would be great.

Yeah, but there is literally zero information about this or anything else related with bitwala card on their website, either that or I can't find it.  Tongue

Is there any way to test this new physical biwala cards without performing KYC verification?
I tried to find more information about this cards on your website, but there is nothing useful and I can't find what are the terms and fees.

If you see stuff like physical card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, 3D-Secure being offered, then there is almost certainly identity verification required, because the card issuers don't want to deal with anonymous users.

What would be more interesting to hear is their supported countries list. I hope this is not another EEA-exclusive service like the first iteration.

To order the card, you need to be KYC'd.
BTC-powered VISA card payments are subject to a 0.20€+1% fee.

        Hi Bitcoiner!

Though we've been quiet lately, it doesn't mean things have been standing still at Bitwala. Behind the scenes, a lot has been going on.

Here comes a quick update on what's new:

        • Savings Plan: Build wealth on your own terms with our flexible Savings Plan, designed to help you strategically invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Leverage the Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) strategy to navigate market volatility and steadily build a solid portfolio over time. Whether you're a seasoned investor or just starting your crypto journey, the Savings Plan is tailored to meet your needs.

        • Bitwala Token: We’ve tokenized ourselves! Invest in BWALA tokens today and step beyond being just a user—become an owner. Unlock the power of economic equality, shape the company’s direction, and join a thriving community that's leading innovation in the Bitcoin ecosystem.

        • Curve Partnership: We’ve partnered with Curve to enhance your financial freedom! Curve is a new kind of digital wallet that doesn’t just store your cards. It supercharges them. So you can earn hundreds in extra cashback. And thousands in extra credit card points. You can put a stop to fees abroad for good. And unlock the power to Go Back in Time® to switch payments from one card to another – months after you’ve paid!

        • Physical Cards: In partnership with Striga, we have Visa cards ready for beta testing. Be one of the first users to get a fully functional physical card backed with direct crypto spending abilities, enabling transactions in Bitcoin and Ethereum at every merchant that accepts Visa.

        • CryptoKnights: Bitwala has been chosen to participate in the first season of CryptoKnights, a TV show dedicated exclusively to crypto projects. Think Shark Tank meets blockchain: in August, our founders presented our 'living on bitcoin' concept to a panel of top experts, highlighting the real-world potential and accessibility of cryptocurrency. The show premieres early next year, and we can't wait to share the official trailer here with you.
