Exchange on 247exchange!
Feel free to use our service 247exchange.com. In Canada we support plenty of buying options including the instant ones. We accept credit/debit cards, Interac Online, EFT/eCheck, local bank transfers, etc. If you check BittyBot, you'll see that our rate for buying bitcoin with Interac is the best.

I've used Coinbase quite a bit more since the last time i mentioned them in this thread. Still no problem, took less than 24 hours to receive money in my bank account both times and the fee was close to 1%, though Coinbase's BTC price is a few % over BTC-e so it was basically free to do the transfer.

I might try buying a bit of BTC with interact this weekend.

Learning the troll avoidance button :)
I'll throw in a notable mention for candianbitcoins depending on where you get stability set at.

I've been looking at places to buy BTC from a Canadian bank account but it seems every site is riddled with fees in one way or another.

Virwox is more than 10% fee https://caktux.ca/virwox
LocalBitCoins is normally about 3-5% fee
Cavirtex charges a 0.8% fee for trades but also $7.50 to deposit fiat and $10 to withdraw fiat

I feel like I've looked for so many sites but none of them really work.

Ideally I'd love to find a place to buy BTC for around 1% above spot including deposit in fiat and withdrawal in BTC. Has anyone heard of a good place?

Coinbase;
https://www.coinbase.com/accounts/primary

Not much else to say, its instant with interact, you can raise your limit by verifying your identity and the fee is 1%+70cents i believe. Then you can send it back within 24hours to a bank account for 1%+1$.
although im not a fan of coinbase, i really like that interac feature they have. it lets me buy btc so easily. its either that or localbitcoins and id rather not take the risk there

Coinbase seems to be having some technical difficulties over the past month which has prevented me from using my account and many other users from accessing their funds. But otherwise, yes, they looked very appealing.

Ive had trouble getting my bank account connected, i had to go through a few session with a tech chat representative and eventually they manually fixed it or something. After that i been able to get funds in and out very quickly with no problem whatsoever. I done it twice for in the last month.

I would recommend you Coinsetter their trading fee is around 0.3% which is really low compared to other exchanges.

Bitcoin replaces central, not commercial, banks
You might have better luck with https://www.quadrigacx.com/

This looks very promising. I like that you can get in and out without fees, and only a 0.5% fee on trades.

However, I see that they do not process EFT deposits right now. "Our apologies, EFT Funding is temporarily unavailable. To access additional account funding options, please contact our support team. "

+2 for fund your account with gold within 48hrs though!

And withdraw in gold for 5% fee, interesting.

What bank are you using?

I could do any, RBC TD BMO

I'm not sure what other banks support it but I can do Interac transfers straight out of my Desjardins account to Quadriga and I only get charged the 1$ bank fee. Transfer is usually processed within 24 hours (sometimes only a couple hours).
