I gave away my hard earned .5 btc last year, which is over 2000$ now to cloud mining sites, they turned out to be outright scams. Of course they will give you a small payment to make you invest more but ultimately your coins will end up with them.

If you are serious about getting some coins, get yourself an asic from bitmain or invest in any new coins after carefully doing some research about them.

they survived this far because of those hidden fee.they keep survived as long as a new costumer buying their contracts.
so think about it again and again

Obviously, most cloud mining could run because many people believe will get profits, but I am very skeptic about that.
How if no one trust them anymore, who will pay those people who already invested and still not achieve ROI?
The idea of cloud mining is very simple. Instead of spending thousands of dollars on Bitcoin mining hardware, you can pay someone to lease their hardware and keep the profits to yourself. The company that rents out the miners takes care of the maintenance and all of the hassle of setting them up.
However, you are required to pay a fee for their service but we’ll get to that in a minute.

If you invest $170 on genesis mining and expecting to get small payment every week/month, it takes 4-6 months before ROI.
The point is, you wasted the potential of $170, if you invest $170 in bitcoin and wait 4-6 months, it will grow 30%-70% for sure.

hello folks

I am currently looking for cloud mining website, I know a few but I would like to explore more and know whats on the web and why are they better then others.

here is a few I know :

- genesis mining
-Pool bitcoin
-hashrate24

thnx for the info

If you really wanted to invest i would go with genesis or pool.bitcoin.com. Nothing else, because they are all shady af. At least you know that genesis owns some mining rigs and pool.bitcoin.com is 100% mining since they are a pool themselves. These are probably two of the best available cloud mining sites, and yet they are still utter trash.

Don't expect any profits from this. If you use their mining calculator you will see that you will earn a pretty cool amount, but after you deduct the amount of fees you are paying on a daily basis(around $50 per day on a 100TH/s plan), it's not worth it at all, especially when difficulty is probably going to increase in the future. Invest in something else, it'll be more worthwhile.

BTW, Cex.io discontinued their cloud mining a wihle ago didn't they?

How about https://cex.io/ since it has been operated over 3 years
I think some of them experience big profit when trading on cex.io although IMO , they are selling quiet expensive per contract

Most of the cloud mining have really expensive packages so it will be hard for you to recover your initial investment which is even harder when mining difficulty will keep on increasing over time.

I suggest you to rather buy a real mining hardware than purchasing any cloud mining contracts from them. Don't get fooled by their high return claims..

I think real mining are more expensive rather than cloud mining, you can check them out before try to invest

As a general rule of thumb, cloud mining sites aren't going to earn you anything in the long term. They market themselves as a viable way to make passive income but that is simply misleading and oftentimes they can be accurately labelled as just scammers.

There are 2 types of cloud mining: ponzi schemes and legit ones. Ponzi schemes are going to collapse and you'll most likely lose your money, and legit ones are not going to make back even your original investment.

If you really wanted to invest, then choose genesis. They are the largest and at least they are not a ponzi.

I disagree with people saying you should avoid cloud mining. Will it be less profitable compared to your own miner? Well, it might. But keep in mind you need to buy, and more important, maintain your own hardware! If something breaks, you own't be earning anything at all. So yes, cloud mining might be less profitable since you pay fees, but for me that's something I'm willing to pay for not maintaining my own hardware.

I started with genesis mining couple of weeks ago, and so far I fairly happy with it. Invested $125 on 1TH/s BTC mining (for a lifetime contract!), and currently I'm earning $1-$1,50 a day. So I would have my investment returned in 3-4 months, which I think is really good. I even wanted to buy more hash power on BTC, but currently they are sold out. You might see this as a bad thing, I see it as a good thing, because it seems they are doing something good if people keep joining genesis.

So assuming revenue will continue to flow like it does now, I would triple my investment this year. And next year (and all years afterwards) it would only "free" income, sine it's a lifetime contract.

If you decide to choose genesis minig, you can use this code to get a 3% discount on your purchase: WBxOQj

Nothing lasts forever
As Everyone say most of the cloud mining sites are ponzi and scam which is accurately true, there are still a few websites which are genuine and gives profit.
I am talking about Eobot which is a cloud mining site. It has a free mining platform and also some investment schemes which increases the GHS. The more GHS we have the more coins we mine . There are many number of coins that we can mine in this website. The withdrawal limit is satisfactory too. I have been using this site since 2 months and find it to be really genuine. I am using the free mining. It also has a faucet which can be claimed once a day which gives a bonus to this website.
try it www.eobot.com

A quick look on the forum or a search on Google which will lead to the link on the forum will make you decide which of those options is better but unfortunately I will have to agree with posters above concerning their conclusion on cloud mining because for you to ROI then you will be ready to wait forever because their system is designed in such a way that when you are seeing your income green the charges attached to it will turn it into read which is something that wont stop any time soon.

Generally cloud mining sites are ponzi scams man.

You're likely better off building your own GPU miner.

I totally agree. Genesis has missed out on their payment schedules... so probably best not to throw any money at it at the moment.

There are problem with everyone you listed. And there are no such programs without issues.
Better stay away form cloud mining and go for self mining or a different investment program.

there're no the best between those cloud mining,do you know why i said that ?
it's very simple, you can say they're the best or not based on their return of investment(ROI).
if they can not give you any benefit or profit or ROI what we call them ? worst right ?
and that's the best word to describe those cloud mining (aka ponzi scheme aka whatever [it's my opinion]).
they won't give you profit instead they will give you a lot of expanse, and other than that they also charging a hidden fee.
they survived this far because of those hidden fee.they keep survived as long as a new costumer buying their contracts.
so think about it again and again
