He didn't really say that he wants to trade bunch on shitcoins on Binance,
I didn't say that either. OP is looking for an exchange that has some coins that Binance doesn't have and that has high volume. Looking at Bisque, I don't see any crypto listed there that Binance doesn't have so that's why I asked if Bisque is really good option for him.

Since OP is obviously looking for an exchange that has bunch of altcoins that Binance doesn't have, is Bisq actually a good option for him?
He didn't really say that he wants to trade bunch on shitcoins on Binance, and I think that Bisq have ethereum, monero and few other altcoins, including most fiat currencies like Euro, Dollar, British Pound, etc.
Monero have the biggest volume on this exchange than any other option:

hi,
I am on Binance but I want to buy some coins that they don't have. Later, I might consider to do also trading on that particular exchange.
So, is there any top5 of exchanges based on available coins, trading volume, fees, other criteria? As I'm on Binance, KYC is not a concern.
Since you said that KYC is not an issue, you might wanna check Gate, as they have large amount of shitcoins that are not available on Binance (at least not yet). If you wanna go for something more reputable that doesn't require KYC, I would suggest Kucoin and FTX.

Best alternative for Binance is decentralized exchanges like Bisq for example, you can use it without any verification and you will own the keys of coins you use for trading there.

KYC is a big concern, especially if you spread it among multiple centralized exchanges because you are increasing chances for your data to be exposed with some future hack or leak.

It is hard to say the best exchange but Binance deserves that. Maybe after Binance, KuCoin has that chance but I am sure the other exchange wants to be the next best exchange after Binance. I tried with Gate.io and HotBit as my friends suggested to check those exchanges and I think both Gate.io and HotBit can grow in the future as they are trying to develop more for their exchanges. But FTX as the new exchange, surprisingly, can get a better position than the other so maybe FTX can be the next best exchange after Binance.

I think that your main concern should be the liquidity, not necessarily the number of coins listed.
A lot of coins are not listed to big exchanges mostly because they don't have the minimum liquidity required by the exchange.

About fees, although the data is no longer new, it may not be that far from current reality either: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/crypto-exchanges-comparison-trade-fee-listing-fee-age-mobile-app-more-5079048

There are several factors that determine what is the best alternative to Binance based on what you are looking for, but before that I would like to tell you.

 - Do not invest in any coin/token listed on few or unknown platforms.
 - Do not invest in any coin/token that does not have sufficient trading volumes in the main platforms.
 - Do not invest in any coin/token that is not listed on at least 10 major platforms.

As for Binance's alternatives, if the reason is to avoid KYC, then Okex[1] platform is ideal.

According to CMC here is the list of top exchanges : https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/
Personally, I do not trust any rating from CMC, especially after many recent problems[2][3][4], try using Coingecko.

If we base on CMC top listed exchange I'd go with FTX then kucoin also next to that is Huobi this 3 exchange is tested already but I think you need to select and check for yourself on what exchange is good for you since we have different preferences especially on choosing on exchange, but what I can suggest to you is to stay on Binance since they are more far better than any other exchange here.

You should elaborate your preferred criteria for determining the best exchange since you will only get a very subjective answer here. Coinbase, FTX, Kraken and Kucoin but they have different advantage to each other in terms of feature so it's up to you to determine what's better based on there own respective unique feature.

My pick:
1. Binance, the biggest centralized exhanges.
2. Kucoin, many coin listed and many trading pairs.
3. FTX, alternative for Binance but lesser coin and trading pairs.
4. Huobi, no hacked history until now.
5. Kraken, old exchanges but have slow supports.

It's up to you to choose what exchanges, but don't blindly trust an articles since many of them were got paid promotions. Usually they'll recommend Coinbase, Coinmama, eToro etc which not really good IMO.

As pointed out by Royse777 Kucoin is the natural choice. It has some nice limits without KY  and a lot of crypto X crypto trading pairs.
I would also point out FTX  ,which has very low withdrawal fees (some even zero fees withdrawal) and a lot of trading pairs.

However, the best exchange is something that will vary according to your location  if you want to use fiat currency. For example, coinbase is a good exchange but is not available in my country.

I don't know what coin you're after, obviously for now including I'm also using the Binance exchange.

However, as the technology world advances in the crypto field, it is certain that every exchange has their own rivals, between them giving each other the best for their users.

For your additional information, honestly I don't want to suggest you should use exchange A, B and C, you can try to see and read below, it may be of benefit to you in choosing an Alternative other than Binance.

2. BINANCE ALTERNATIVES

Be careful of shitcoins, out of many coins Binance listed, there could still be some shitcoins but Binance try to consider marketcap of a coin before it consider it to be listed. Exchange volume do not means some certain shitcoins are available.

Like on HitBTC, there are more listings but lower trading volume if compared to Binance. Also the exchange use to freeze customer's account and force them to do kyc. Also that the withdrawal fee is too exorbitant. Just as an example.

About trading, be careful, new traders usually lose. Learn, take it easy and use the amount you can easily afford to lose to trade.
