miner status is good, many miners don't just mine on 1 pool anymore so it suits them Smiley
I found the author helpful and responsive on the occasions I have contacted him e.g the "recently fixed" Smiley

best is very subjective, no 2 pools has the same features, there are plenty of threads asking the same, and a lot of opinions Smiley

My favourite should be obvious Wink

Eclipse MC has its own mobile app. After you log in you'll see a Mobil Workers link. You can access it from any phone for a quick worker hash rate.

Are those the pools that work with the app?  I looked yesterday and didn't see any iOS apps for Bitcoin except exchanges.  Wondering if coding a Bitcoin app is in my future.

I found that there are apps that allows you to see how your miner is doing  (like this one for android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.davidgreene.minerstatus&feature=search_result)

but it doesn't work with all pools.

What is the best pool (or your favorite one) from this list?

Supported Pools:
ABCPool (https://www.abcpool.co)
Bitcoinpool (http://www.bitcoinpool.com/)
Eligius / Luke Jr. (http://eligius.st/wiki/index.php/Eligius_mining_pool)
Slush / Bitcoin Pooled Mining (http://mining.bitcoin.cz)
Deepbit (https://deepbit.net/account)
Btcmine (http://btcmine.com/)
BtcGuild (http://www.btcguild.com/
Bitclockers (http://bitclockers.com/)
EclipseMC (https://eclipsemc.com)
Simplecoin (https://simplecoin.us)
Swepool (http://swepool.net/)
Mt. Red (https://mtred.com/)
Ozcoin (https://ozco.net/) ** Recently Fixed **
TripleMining (https://www.triplemining.com)

thanks
