Well fuck!  You could have said something and saved me the hassle Smiley

Actually, I kind of enjoy the opportunity to relate my experiences with various vendors when I have nothing better to do.

You in the U.S.?  If so, I had good luck with Bitcoin-Brokers (some thread on services which I'm to lazy to look up.)  Got through about $5k in a few days of light work, and the buyers were happy also.  Got good prices there, but that was not my top priority.

Bitcoin-Brokers stopped taking on new sellers for a while, and I wanted to make some larger single sales so after a bit of time trying unsuccessfully to arrange a suitable local transaction, I signed up with Coinbase.  I thought I was going to have to give them high quality scans of my identity documents which I don't like to set free into the wild, but it turns out that that was not the case.  For the past three weeks or so I've been using them and am really happy with their service as well.

To contrast, Mt. Gox happily took my identity theft kit back in Aug but neglected to tell me that they cannot service U.S. customers.  They've been sitting on my $5k wire for more than a quarter now.  I don't recomend them, and more importantly, I caution against regarding anything they say as being especially truthful.
