I’ve tested my fair share of GameFi projects, and most don’t live up to the hype. But there’s one I’m watching that might finally crack the code. Imagine a game where you actually own what you earn and where skill matters more than spending. Add in a community-driven roadmap and a unique token fueling the whole ecosystem, this could be the real deal for anyone who’s tired of empty promises in GameFi

All projects have a great plan for their projects, and it's a utopian vision and mission. After the project is running, I'm not 100% sure that the plan will run smoothly. GameFi is no longer a mainstream category in the industry, that also makes me think that GameFi is not a good choice for now.

What you describe is something I've seen in several projects already and it didn't end well. That's why there's zero to no interest in gamefi now.

I mean, people give NFTS and decentralized gaming a chance back two years ago and all of it turned to nothing. Axie infinity was the flagship of the Play-to-earn ecosystem and also was wielding the future of decentralized gaming, but they ruined it all because they applied the wrong business model on their platform and further stigmatized the rest of the ecosystem which wanted to do things different and attract the attention of legitimate players, not only people who wanted to play for a living, that was they biggest mistake.
As it stands today, people do not longer pay attention to decentralized gaming or projects which try to Mix cryptocurrency/Blockchain technology with entertainment, they follow the triple A studios and games like the incoming Witcher 4, Nintendo games, and others alike and something very dramatic would need to happen for this situation to change and bring liquidity to new gamefi projects

Well, that remains to be seen. It's not so simple like you describe. My primary concern would be the supply of the token since there's going to be tons of emissions directly from the game to the players. How will this be controlled? There is no fix for game emissions that end up diluting the token supply. We learned this the hard way with Axie infinity and it seems nothing has changed yet.
