SatoshiDice has a long history and was once the largest dice site but ownership of the site has been transferred at least once in the past (although the sale involved a huge sum of money so it's unlikely that the new owners would use it to scam). PRCDice.eu has been online for almost two years and have enjoyed an OK-ish reputation so far. DaDice is very new but they have become popular very quickly.

Actually SatoshiDice hasn't been accepting US based players for almost two years now:

Quote from: CoinDesk
Citing legal advice, Bitcoin gaming site SatoshiDice is closing to US players, moving to block all US-based IP addresses from the website.

Posting on Bitcointalk and the Bitcoin reddit page, satoshidicepr, an official representative of the site who asked to remain anonymous, said the decision, which is effective as of today, was taken following “extensive legal counsel.”

Source: http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-gaming-site-satoshidice-closes-to-us-players/

US players can play the on-chain SD game by getting a SD address on https://blockchain.info/popular-addresses without accessing the page.

Ah yes, before I knew about SatoshiDice having an off-chain game, I always wondered how they were able to block US-based players since I thought only their on-chain game existed.

Also, everyone in this thread is just posting either their own dice site or the one they have in their signature. There doesn't appear to be any consensus at all as to what dice site other than PD and JD are considered the most trustworthy.

DaDice has been mentioned a few times but they are far too new to be considered trustworthy IMO no matter how popular they become. They definitely have potential though and if they manage to continue operating for a while longer without any major issues, then I suppose they could eventually become a very important player in the field.

Biggest problem I see is that PD and JD exited the US market for a reason and any dice site that grows big and trustworthy enough will want to avoid the US market for the same reasons too unless they want to become a target for authorities. Sad

Someone should make a list of the key factors that make a dice site great:

1) Lowest house edge and provably fair bets

2) Most flexible bet options to include auto bet flexibility.  This means the site with the smallest and highest range of bet amount and most flexibility in change of percentages based on win/lose strategies would win.

3) Best customer support reputation

Well... I think the first two are more important and I'm sure there are other factors I'm leaving out which is why I can't be the one to put together a list.

Just saying though... can't really drop names and say that one is better than another without mentioning key status such as house edge and betting flexibility.

Also, take all the "scam" accusations with a grain of salt.  There are a lot of butt-hurt internet trolls that get upset and 'cry' scam when their cute little betting strategies get whammied by the house edge.

It's not illegal to operate a bitcoin thing in my country. Nor is it illegal to operate an online casino here. There are more illegal things where I live, that are more important than bitcoin or casinos, let alone bitcoin casinos.

There is also a difference between not illegal, and legal, but that difference might depend on who you ask.

There is a difference between not accepting US players, and not accepting connections from US ip addresses. Although that's just semantics.

If you want a different kind of dice, check out mine. Sure the site has only been around since this year (the domain was registered last year), but the owners have been around a few years.
I am confused here. Why some of dice or casino sites in general are not accepted in US? Isn't it that EVERY online casino is illegal? And if you are citizen of USA you can't legally (in theory) play at these sites?
Instead we have a situation that some gambling services blocked themselves and some others not from being accessed from US while in reality everything gambling related, blocked or not, is illegal.

To each his own, I trust DaDice and they accept players from all over the world and the amount of rolls they have everyday shows that it is trusted by many players.

Directdice is an on-chain dice game. They also accept US players and they are trusted by many, you can even try some free bets by sharing about them on twitter/fb.

When it comes to trust I have had a great experience with bitdice.me  If that is your primary consideration they are a good choice.

However I worry that this is just the start for US players and would not be surprised to see more and more sites close to them.

Good Luck!

If I were you, I would choose to play on Safedice for the low edge, but would never leave my bitcoin there. Several sites are slightly more trustworthy but to me the difference in house edge outweighs it.

Primedice regardless, obviously. Not hard.

You didn't read the OP did you. He asked since PrimeDIce no longer accepts USA gamblers what is another alternative.

As long as the sites are provably fair and enough players play on them, it is mostly considered to be trustworthy as a lot of people are able to verify their bets . So any of the major sites is usually trustworthy enough. Fortunejack/Multidice/Dadice are usually good enough for dice.

Exactly what I think, they all are trustworthy until proven otherwise. As per me I find these to be trusted Rollin.io, Win88.me, Chainroll etc. There are others also but since you asked for US players, I have excluded one or two that stopped accepting players from US.

And OP in the end it all comes down to your personal preferences, just try each one recommended in this thread and see for yourself which you find to be more trustworthy for you.

OP asked dice site, but your site is lottery site, your post is off-topic, just focus on your site in your thread, don't make threads on other threads. Br careful, it's violating the rules in this forum.

And my counterargument is that OP either should just buy a VPN and move on - or not gamble at all. Just because he doesn't like it or isn't available for him doesn't make it an invalid choice.

Do note that OP is asking opinions here which he has excluded both of that . He does not mention that he does not like it or not available for him. If he was already stated that both is excluded ( theoritically, not specifically, corrected the previous one ) then it is not wise to provide it as an opinions anymore

In my opinion, I wouldn't trust any of the new dice sites (most have been around <6 months)

Safedice, rollin.io and bustbabit/Dustdice has been here for quite some time with no issue whatsoever. >6 months for sure. They could be an option

with no accountability or traceability should anything actually go wrong (or they just steal the coins).

The same could happen to the both site that you mention. Not to say a bad things about PrimeDice and JustDice , if anything happen to both site ( or if they "steal" ) there will be no difference that the other new sites

P.S : sorry Stunna and Dooglus , not saying a bad things about you guys just rather spouting an example here  Wink

I do know that you can still play on PrimeDice by using VPN but this is not the case for this question since OP mentioned specifically that he has excluded both PrimeDice and JustDice. PrimeDice and JustDice both started as a new sites as well, which the competition was a bit lesser on that time. Eventually all new dice sites will get there, since the matter of trust is earned over time

Clearly means that OP is not looking for either PrimeDice or JustDice as an answer since he has excluded and know about it. So both of them is not an answer for this

I wouldn't say all at all - other sites aside from PD and JD were around back in 2013/2014 - none have made it through without a scandal or some marring.

Seems like you are missing something. Title says for US players which means PrimeDice is no longer included because it doesnt accept deposits from the US players anymore. Link for references https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/important-announcement-from-primedice-1043059

Just use a VPN - no big deal. TBH I wouldn't trust any of the other newer sites till they actually have been here an extended amount of time and have continuously shown professional behaviour and support. If you can't use PD, JD is pretty good - only issue is that CLAMs are relatively volatile, real pain in the butt if you want to gamble.

Excluding my own sites for obvious conflict of interest issues

My votes goes for Ryan's site both for DustDice and Bustabit  Wink although bustabit is not a dice sites

It is still very new compared to the other established dice sites. IMO a site can only earn trust slowly over time, and all those great features and campaigns have very limited help in that aspect.

You are sure right but DaDice will get there eventually , every dice sites started from where Dadice is right now and It is growing at the faster pace than the other new sites which is obviously

what do you think is now the most trustworthy and reputable dice site for US-based players?

In term of trust, no sites will be more trustworthy then PrimeDice or JustDice which is for sure but If I were to choose a new sites then I will personally choose DustDice and SafeDice
Since there is a lot of name spoutting out here from each another opinion, how about a poll to keep track of everyone's choice about this?

I would suggest you to give www.bitdice.me a try. We have been around for a long time and offer several currencies you can play with, fast betting and blackjack.

I don't know about prc coz it has a history of incompetent coding..

This is not true at all. No investor or legit player has ever lost a single satoshi due to incompetent coding on PRC. (don't feed the trolls)

However just a month or so ago Bitdice lost around 150 Bitcoin due to incompetent coding.

There's not any other Bitcoin dice site as trustworthy as PocketRocketsCasino.eu, proven by the fact that it holds on to more Bitcoin of player and investor balances than any of the other site does.

Currently 2664 Bitcoin invested.

Being open for two years and still operating shows PRC is more trusted than any other site. Most other sites run away when they reach smaller bankrolls from investors.

But how is using vpn or tor a problem? Enough to stop US players using primedice if they like it. It's a little more work but many already have it set up. Only problem I can think of is if you need support or something. But even then it's probably not an issue. Anyway, been playing a little in coinroyale and never had problems. Great site too.
