I can say that we're having a revisit of the 2017 era with ICOs and staking saturating the space, except that now it's IDOs. I wonder if ICOs would survive now if any project tried it out. I won't touch that. I still wear my past losses as an idelib badge of honour. Then the interesting part is that there are various wallets one can stake certain tokens now and be handsomely rewarded with airdrops and all that. The Cosmos and Solana ecosystems have been great in this light. Honestly, now is a good time to be in this industry and I know better days are still coming.
maybe for now, AI, gamefi and in terms of other technological factors.
because I see projects like that being developed nowadays and they are competing to be the best.

currently modular, then layer2, then gamefi, I think those 3 are still the current trend for the next 1 or 2 years, you can see the projects related to that.

The real positive effect of BTC ETF are not yet felt. This is one of the reason why people are still talking about it if when it will happen or the ETF for BTC is really beneficial for it or for the BTC users.

I don’t think there is a new narrative. Buy Bitcoin, Ethereum & HODL for a number of years. Buy low, sell high & see if you can uncover low cap gems. As usual we go from bull to bear cycle & back. Learn about 4 year cycles because they’re still relevant to this day. Don’t panic sell when we’re dipping, don’t listen to bull shit crypto social media channels & influencers.

Brc-20 tokens, tokens created on Bitcoin Blockchain are what I have being seeing recently. Binance exchange also published a research on them. I was on telegram and receive a notification about their research. I think they're going to be among the hottest narrative of the bull market. Bitcoin ETF got approval therefore there's more focus on Bitcoin and more investors will be looking to invest in things relating with Bitcoin and tokens on Bitcoin Blockchain might be one of them.
I think Binance exchange might start listing more Brc-20 tokens as we get closer to the bull market. After Binance exchange starts listing them, other exchange would follow. Most exchanges are always following Binance exchange to do anything that they do. Binance exchange has too much power on the market that any narrative that they start to list always get attention from other big and small exchanges.
in the local board, my country's crypto community and my circle, the narratives are different, in the airdrop community the best narrative is now that retro airdrops can generate thousands of dollars in just one airdrop, which means now it is the success of airdrops. If in the trading community they are waiting for the bitcoin halving which will happen soon, what they believe is that after the halving bitcoin will rise to $100,000. Apart from that, there are several fanatical Solana network communities whose communities are very solid, layer 1 layer 2 or layer 3 projects which I don't really understand either. ntf, ico, defi seem to be dead.
This is what popular now in my local especially in our social media channel. The consecutive airdrop from Aptos, Tia and many more gives an airdrop another spotlight again that outshine DeFi and other altcoins area.
L1 and L2 project are now trending nomkatter what is the project as long as its new since VC keeps throwing money on it for initial liquidity including funding the airdrops and wait for new investors to cash in more liquidity for them to use as exit liquidity. The typical whale moves which I believe everything will blow ip after the Bitcoin hype but this will take longer for sure.

DePi, Ai are the main ones right now, but recently the ETH-404 token got major hype in the market. Its still an experimental version, and we've seen a project called Pandora raise over 7000% in a few days. It can be a new narrative that is short-lived. Beside Depi and AI another narrative is heavily marketed right now, which is RWA. It has real utilities, but i think the regulatory uncertainty is preventing big investors from putting their money into those project.

For me, it's AI. AI is trending right now, crypto and non-crypto-related.

AI doesn’t need cryptocurrency. I am saying so only because I can’t think of anyway it can be applied. But on the other hand, cryptocurrency could make use of AI. I wouldn’t necessarily say “need” because cryptocurrency still works fine as it is. And actually, some projects are already integrating AI into their products, but then, in as much as some of them are actually enhancing their products, the others are integrating it just for trend (which isn’t bad anyways).

I don’t know if it can be called a narrative, but it can be called an event that will entail consequences. We are talking about ERC-404 and Pandora. Just as the hype around the inscriptions on various chains cooled down a little, we got a new product that tries to combine both a coin and an NFT. The concept is very interesting and for some time there will definitely be projects developing this area for profit.

Besides farming airdrops in general, the Cosmos ecosystem(not necessarily the cosmos ATOM token, mind you) has been pretty hot lately; with Celestia(TIA), Stride(STRD), and Dymension(DYM) leading the charge. We're yet to see huge consumer apps on the cosmos eco, but they nailed the infra.

Well, if Gamefi only hoping for this profitable p2e, for sure it will be difficult again because a lot of people are disappointed with what happened in the previous P2E hype.
Probably due to the p2e system before a lot of gamers are now expecting some compensations and probably will only choose games with somehow benefits on their playing time. from $43k to $45k plus and we still don't consider this as bull trend? Though before it drops it touches around 47k if not mistakenly 48k who knows if this was a correction market to touch 50k this time around. When it touches 50k then I can with all hope that we are in bull run though this might not be the full bull run maybe as you said after having.
Elevating the market is quite problematic but the factor such as halving doesnt happening yet then its still not a bull phase. Maybe for some it is, but if we follow the explanation I said maybe we can do more. Im not hopium with some influencers reaching 100k or 200k but who doesnt want that right? Theres no impossible things that might occur. As my friend said who is an experience trader could really do a bigger one but still monitoring technically.

The New Narrative gets more and more complex it seems as years go by. And, it seems to often be centralized. DEX seems like a narrative that not everyone has caught up wtih yet.

Well I can still factor the fact that we are still on bull market and every other projects has the tendency to make new wave, couple with the halving around the corner as a major key player in the cryptocurrency price.
Oh for me its not bull market yet as weve approaching the halving. Historically the bull season start after the halving even though the valuation of most coins are quite high it does means that were gonna do much better after it. Some say its not gonna be same pattern but majority of OG or users are into the idea of bull after it. So lets just stick for this idea for now. Well I can still factor the fact that we are still on bull market and every other projects has the tendency to make new wave, couple with the halving around the corner as a major key player in the cryptocurrency price. Every coin and projects still have that open space for exponential growth, so any whatever coin you buy within this period would likely give you what you are expecting except we have turn back to bear market before we could have hardly filter out the worst project that can never withstand the market pressure.
New narrative will most likely be a new kind of protocol. So maybe follow new coins and new development for old coins.
I think those are probably the lsdi tokens that promotes staking. Ive been with them not so long ago and I cant wait to see it bloom. I agreed that RWA is something else or quite unique but its establishment seems need to be profound and justify yet in the coming future. Any examples of best rwa? How about depin projects? Some say its also the new narrative.

All of them were once new narratives, and that's why people made ton of money with them. Op's question is relevant as everyone wants to be ahead, however it's anyone's guess. I hear people throwing RWA and supply chains, but that's not really a new idea. Those have been tried for a long time. New narrative will most likely be a new kind of protocol. I can see the possibility of the latest narrative in the crypto space at some point. Lately, it looks like this year is better than last. Although we have overcome the very bad market situation last year and now we are moving towards something better. I think we will see better things after the bull market ends.What I see in the market right now is gamefi position, and I saw a few more that I don't care about now. However, gaming systems are very hyped these days.
What is happening now is that big companies and institutions are interested in btc and cryptocurrencies. Based on their interest, the crypto market is seeing growth.
