I think from listening and watching many of his speeches, he is quite Libertarian and would not want more government control or a dictatorship over the development of the

Bitcoin code. He has most probably worked closely with Gavin / Mike / Wladimir and many of the developers out there, and do not want to pick a side in these discussions.

Like most of us, he can see that we need bigger blocks soon, but all this side projects and hidden agendas are confusing matters for most of us. They say.. silence is golden.  Wink

Ad maiora!
I think Andreas is much too diplomatic to throw his hat into this insane dog fight.

Move On !!!!!!
Well the answer to this thread's question is in his YouTube interview. According to him we are all overreacting and Bitcoin mechanism will take care of everything. He's leaning a bit towards bigger block sizes though.

I must admit that I always admired this man, how calm and smart he is. We couldn't ask for a better Bitcoin ambassador!

Yeah, supporting bigger blocks is not the same as XT.

Everyone say this 100 times.  Then turn to the guy on your right and say it 100 more times.

The only thing I saw was a Twitter post where he said the community was over reacting. That could mean either...

1. He knows the XT is going to fail
2. He dosnt think that a hard fork is as bad as we make it out to be.

I'm guessing by his theological views that he is against the fork. Could be wrong though. Ask him on Twitter, seems to be his biggest sounding board.

Yeah, supporting bigger blocks is not the same as XT. I was trying to find its opinion about Bitcoin XT and the Fork of both the Satoshi client and the Blockchain.

There are any public declarations about it?, I really admire Andreas but I couldn't find any post or speech about the XT vs CORE thing.  Huh
