Yes, I agree on your statement and view. Other than neo and ethereum, the other risk free coins will be VEN, XMR and NEM. These coins also have high potential and great technology. There is still plenty much of room for these cryptos to grow in the market.

XMR is know to have great security next to bitcoin in matter of transaction and is one of the most decentralized blockchain that exists currently. XMR also has an upcoming fork on 14th of march, so we are surely gonna see some spike in the price.

Both coins are good in market, Ethereum is running better than other coins but it gets down according to the position of the market and high level timely. The demand of NEO is less now but if we buy at low price than it can give more profit. With the passage it depends on your investment.

If you had asked this question to me few weeks ago, I would have said eth. But I got to know about neo not long ago. I studied their project and technology and I was pretty amazed at what great work is being done by it. Also the team working on neo is pretty hard working and awesome. Their platform is trying to solve some real world problems and making digital solutions for them. It’s a bridge to connect the outside world with digital experience. Moreover neo has been working hard for the past year and has gained quite much interest from investors looking for great platform with modern technology.

I consider Ethereum a low risk investment. There are chances that it may lose value but it definitely wont take a huge dip. NEO has a very big potential but isn't as established as ETH, its still has a long way to go.

The only piece of advice you should cherish from this thread is one telling you there's no such thing as a safe cryptocurrency investment. Bitcoin wasn't even intended to be an investment! Traditional assets first , make sure your retirement is on track, and with the extra spending money buy cryptocurrency (if you've done your homework and believe in the tech). Right now if you're looking for most stability with highest upside potential then Bitcoin, not Alts.

ETH love it or hate is easily the second most "stable" benefiting heavily from early mover advantage, Coinbase, and sexy sounding smart contracts. That could change in 6 months, a year ...who knows.

Everything is in this world is not safe for life time, risk also has huge profit. If you don't risk a bit, you cannot earn huge profit. I would suggest you to go for any coins after thorough analysis on those prospects and growth potential, you are your own boss to decide and you are the one who face loss as well. Taking risk some times is worth of it, go for both Ethereum and Neo splitting your investment into two.

Both ethereum and neo have the same similarity, they are high profile coins and they are also blockchain-based and specifically designed to host smart contracts, DApps and ICOs in a decentralized concept. Yes, neo not only provides a great platform for Dapps and ICO’s, but it also provides passive income in the form of GAS which is tradable and can be exchanged for fiat money or other crypto currencies on exchanges such as binance, etc. recently new project called ontology was launched on the platform of neo and it has a real life application of connecting the blockchain with real life info and storing them with security and privacy. So in all neo will be far more than ethereum in neo future in terms of market cap value.

Both are safe to invest. But if i need to choose i will prefer NEO. This coin looks very promising for me, and now starts a lot of NEO based ICOs and airdrops . Also cold mining is very profitable if you have big portfolio. But Ethereum will be safer.

If you are looking for something to invest in safely, one of the uniqueness of crypto is its very high risk. if you want to play it safe then I suggest never invest in just one coin. I mean this, if you only invest in one coin, you will incur losses when the price drops away from the purchase price. however, if you have some coins you will not be worried about the price drop because you still have another coin that is going up

It will eventually contribute to Bitcoins overall performance and increase overall market cap. SO be it 10 USD or 10 Btc lets thing long term not day to the moon trading that aint happening

I bought "ANS" last summer. It did cost 1 $ for one coin. Later i sold them 10 $ for each and was very satisfied with the result. Until the price hit 50$. I bought again and the china's government banned ICO and the price started to fall very soon. I decided that NEO is doomed and i sold a half of holdings. Now i'm happy i didn't sell everything.

In my opinion, bot of them are good coin. I've been following ETH and NEO almost 6 month. The progress is quite amazing. ETH has been widely adopted by ICO project. NEO look like the next ETH from CHINA. But I disagree with your statement which is you need an extremely low risk assets. Cryptospace is dangerous and hard to predict.

neo is also known as "chinese ethereum" has good potential and rapid development, there are even some ICO that initially use Ethereum platform switch using Neo platform, both are equally good, but for now I prefer Ethereum, because many platforms used on ICO, especially in the use of ERC-20, are increasingly popular today, so in my opinon ethereum more profitable

If you choose one between the two coins I recommend for choosing ethereum. Ethereum is more potential because of some projects that support against cryptocurrency, can be sure the price will be high. But the safe thing is you keep both coins, can be seen in several days back NEO go through a good increase when the price of bitcoin and altcoin decreased. I already have eth right now but not neo. I have heard that neo is one of the altcoins that has potential to kick in this year. Honestly I have so many altcoins in my mind that I want to invest in and one of them is neo. So thinking which one of the two you want to go in to? I suggest that you try them both. it's worth it.
