I just simply ignore them but there are instances that i might try em out depending if it do really convince me and self-moderated threads
is just shady as hell.If a new miner would really be sensible to built trust and reputation then strict moderation would surely kill it. People would always
prefer transparency between positive and negative ones but still we should be careful yet we know and can spot out similar users commenting the same stuff.

I read the rules and forum explanations... but the existence of self-moderating threads is concerning to me.

That said, it is hard and takes time to get a solid reputation.... but if you have a good product, I think it'll happen organically.

If I'm running something on my personal computer, my barrier for entry is significantly high.

People need to learn to do research -- one of the users in question from your post, if you'll look at the previous post history, seems to just be a bunch of bots talking back and forth in russian-native-language threads for months to  years. It looks like a bunch of fake accounts created just to look like long term users with merit and such for future scams.

I'm a skeptic when it comes to this stuff. I think a self moderated thread is a huge red flag (even though I'd love to be able to remove a couple of folk from my thread, lol), personally.

I am a regular browser of this section and I see lately a lot of announcement threads regarding different new comers in the mining market which I must say is going deep down every passing day.

I wonder if these miners are trustworthy as they seem to post from self moderated threads and I see only good replies because the ones against the project or that show flows is deleted by OP.

Do you trust them in general , I want to but I am very sceptical about those software. I would rather stick with well known programmers like Claymore but just need a bit of a more general honest opinion , in a non self moderated thread.
