The answer is in the pop up itself.

Connection not fully secure because it contains elements not encrypted.

Maybe like a pic/gif/jpg hosted offsite?

Here is what's going on. Theymos posted about it today.

I think that someone is trying to brute-force passwords. Bad login attempts were handled very badly/slowly. I fixed the performance issues there, though the brute-forcing is presumably still going on. I don't have time look into it. A single IP can attempt logging in no more often than once per 45 seconds, though, so it shouldn't be too easy to brute-force passwords.

I see that you are using firefox; your problem is interesting, just open the developer tools and check under the network section what is loading that doesen't come from bitcointalk.org:443

Also a lot of 502's today?  Huh
One of the advantages of using what i have in my signature is that bitcointalk.org would receive less traffic, thus, be less subject to load spikes (502s).

(there would be other ways to fix that, but it's not up to me to do it).

I dunno why it came in your browser.

I never had any problems with secure @bitcointalk.

But perhaps there might be some small problems and I don't know about them Smiley

Looks bad. As far as I know, everything that's supposed to be on the forums is encrypted.
