He's stopped using the forum after ppl started talking about him. His posts weren't going to be noticed if he didn’t spam. He said he was new to Bitcoin. He asked the difference between BTC BCH. He's said he's a dev. He said he's a mixer coder.

It's 9 days ago since he's made his last show here. It's possible we won't see him again so won't be needing this thread. I've locked it.

Maybe he is a shill for jambler? His threads aren't really getting much attention and he isn't asking for merits or trust. Just looks like he is spamming the forum.

That's the most likely scenario. Backlinks and references from Bitcointalk are always welcome to boost the website. By opening specific topics, he is just trying to get to the meter in order to be able to put a link in his signature.
Later, such accounts are always valuable to bounty spammers.

Yes not just him. I see some of the newbie accounts where they’re not actually newbies. You know what I mean right?

Although we can’t judge them all, it’s just that there’s some instincts within us that these newbies asking a “quality question” in their very first post rather than introducing themselves in the forum first.

I was having this instinct that the behavior of these certain newbie accounts are somewhat suspicious to me like the case of btcchamp88.

Let’s just keep an eye on his future posts as well as some “certain” newbie accounts who might be doing a similar behavior later on.

He's been given negative tags because he deserved it. btcchamp88's pretended to be a php dev, fake Jambler owner, mixer coder creator so if he’s absent from the forum it's a win. He can't use the profile to scam ppl by pretending he’s offering services.

He is still offline and may not use this account anymore. Because he may have already realized that he got what he deserved on his profile, negative tag. So it is less likely that he will come to the forum using this account, he will create another new account and try to come back because they are doing this kind of activities. These newbie accounts are not actually newbies, these accounts are created to scam forum members in various ways.

It's passed 5 days he's gave up posting in the account. Two red tags doesn't stop him from posting he'll return. He won't reach goals from this user account because of the tagging so he'll make another fresh attempt.

It shouldn't be a surprise to you OP, If he's looking for merit or trust that shouldn't be the main issue. The thing is many users who are probably tired of their main account or just felt like starting up another account are the ones behind these I'm new here/ I'm a newbie kind of shit, they all know what they're doing just to make us feel like fools but is not working, like they haven't heard or been to this Forum before, is really tiring.
Sometimes I find it hard to even welcome anyone with that kind of caption, is really boring... I think they should come up with a new one, before you know merit will start flying to the new account.
If anyone is caught not doing the right thing in this forum he/she should be punished.

Thanks for the find. I informed the mods about this (I guess he should be banned) and left him a red tag.
He hasn't been banned but he's stopped using the account. It's happened after you've left a red tag so it's affected his planning.

Obviously, such a person cannot be trusted. And when we add to that the fact that he is also spamming on this forum, we get the whole picture.

He's heading there soon he'll be advising newbie users. He's saying he's programming on bitcoin mixers. He can manage technical services so he's changed from newbie to expert. He's created the account 10 days ago to start threads asking questions but now he's offering mixer services. Is that a record time for the forum?

This particular conduct of "spamming the entire forum and pretending not to know anything about bitcoin" is committed by many newbies in an effort to attract attention. Watch in a few days to come, if not disappeared from the forum you will find him dishing out advice to other newbies on what to do or not to do about bitcoin. By then he would have forgotten that days back he was clueless about bitcoin.

What every user of the forum can do is to report such topics to moderators if he thinks there are grounds for it (low value topic, thread spam, using AI or plagiarism...) or simply abstain and not participate in such discussions.
I've checked logs btcchamp88 isn't banned. If bigger numbers of users report what he's doing it'll lead to deserved action.

Many newbie accounts are registered on the forum with the aim of promoting a specific service later. Personally, I do not see a problem if the account adheres to the rules of the forum and tries to gain the trust of the community in a legal and honorable way. The problem lies in those scammers who are only interested in spreading any nonsense to reach their goal in illegal ways. These should be reported immediately and the forum cleaned of them.
What's your opinion about the way btcchamp88's opened threads asking questions. He doesn't talk to anybody. He's isn't scamming.

After replying on one of that user's threads and checked its profile after seeing another thread made by him, i observed that he really is just trying to spam with general questions without even replying to the replies.
But after OP shows him this thread he then replied to some of the threads he created. Lol
He's posted 3 replies + 6 OP's posts since he's opened his account 48 hours ago. We don't know why he's behaving so strange but it's suspicious. It isn't normal.

The Jambler site's registered in his profile so it's obvious he isn't new. If he's recognised his account became under observation he'll put a temp hold on spam.

Thanks I'm locking the thread because it's presented the info about btcchamp88.

The rate newbies are popping up to post less quality posts is alarming as well, but i want to believe there are personal and hidden agenda for doing that, they may not spelt them out but we know their likes and what they are up to, any low quality newbie posters wil hardly see that opportunity to rank up or be recognized because they are more of trollers or spammers, they would have forgotten their actions are working already against what they have posted.

This behavior has become very common in the forum. This is normal because the forum is the largest and oldest community of Bitcoin and Crypto, and everyone is interested in promoting their services in the most important forum.

Maybe it's strange to you, but it's nothing new and honestly it doesn't deserve to be discussed as a special problem that this forum has. What every user of the forum can do is to report such topics to moderators if he thinks there are grounds for it (low value topic, thread spam, using AI or plagiarism...) or simply abstain and not participate in such discussions.

It is not surprising that some people come to this forum for completely different reasons than because they are interested in Bitcoin or any meaningful discussion. Fortunately, most people quickly realize that such a method of communication does not produce any results, so they will either give up or receive a permanent ban.

It's unlikely they'd allow whitelabel dealers to use Jambler's own name in domains or logo designs. Looking at his posting he isn't from Jambler so it's suspicious. I've seen users say the same about newbies editing OP's adding links. It's a process of their spamming.

He's increased his posts to 7 so I've updated my OP.

From the response I have read, I had to check for myself. I saw the jambler.io web link on OP profile and I went further to find out the mixer has been existing for a very long time and their presence is recognized here.
While still on it, I discovered that there was a complaints by  a staff legendary member here which there has not been any response on the thread since then till now. Possibly, if OP could have jambler.io mixer on profile then I believe OP is not a newbie here possibly OP might be shilling for them so as to revive their presence here but I do not think that is the best way for them to start again If they truly want to return.

He has a jambler dot ORG link!
Although the website is basically a whitelabel clone it's not the original.
I don't know how genuine the clone is and if he's doing this just to promote his legit website or he is trying to scam someone but it's obvious he's not from the team and the way he's acting is beyond suspicious.

As for the multiple topics, I have a feeling we're going to see edits and links added pretty soon on those OP, that is unless he gets banned!  Wink

Don't joke with my Daughter
There are some users I think we don't need to waste all our efforts in giving them attention haven known they are spammer because from what you showed above is a good example of someone spamming. At first when creating a topic he should stick over there to see the response of people and follow them serially on what they are saying, even though he would create another topic that doesn't mean he would create similar topic and post and again how did he got to know about withdrawal since he said he is a beginner and knows nothing to bitcoin. Does this shows he instantly learned and got to know everything before going to bitcoin.com to make his withdrawal. Sometimes it weird me seeing people not being serious with their post and how they manages to create post over here. Such posters doesn't deserves any merits better still he could be added on ignore list to stop seeing his post.

If that's the case, the mods need to shut his ass down before he really goes to work spamming all of his nonsense.
If users report the threads he's opened he'll be stopped. Mods wouldn't encourage spamming.

If those questions were legitimate, you'd think there would be somewhat of a back-and-forth between him and the members who are trying to answer them.  Creating a thread and then just disappearing is typical behavior from newbies on bitcointalk, but this guy has multiple requests for help on very specific issues.  If nothing else, he ought to be following up if a suggestion works or if he's still having problems.
I'm convinced there isn't any thing legitimate. Disappearing after asking questions isn't new I've seen users do it. He isn't following up suggestions saying they've worked or any thing else. btcchamp88 doesn't want to talk he wants to start threads.

But I don't think his questions are legit, nor do I think he's a newcomer to bitcoin just based on stuff he's asking and the mixer it looks like he's trying to shill for.  Good catch on this one, OP.
He's using Jambler's Mixer in his profile so he isn't honest he isn't a newcomer to bitcoin or the forum. His questions aren't legit.

I sometimes get fed up with the attitude of some newbie who try to create a thread and ask the community - but at the same time they don't proactively help their thread contributors by responding to a reply or two. This is a bit far-fetched - but some beginners actually do it.

I'm not sure if they really need help - but her attitude doesn't reflect that. But OP - if the thread is unimportant and you see it as spam, then report it.

This is not the first time I am seeing newbie accounts or member accounts create threads and ask questions about random things and they never come back to their thread. I am too bored with them, and this is why I remember their names too.

Here is a small list of their usernames.

Godlovesyou Created 68 threads, and replied only 36 times in those 68 threads. This user received a tag for plagiarism.

This is only reason we can expect from his behaviors because his posts is not worthy to recieve merit. Most of his posts are related to Bitcoin discussion which making more clear that this user wanted to shill Jambler mixer.

Op did a great job and I will recommend keep an eye on this user. It will be interesting to see which signature he wear after become Junior member. If he promote in signature then it will be clear 100% that he is promoter of mixer. So far we can only make expectations from his behaviors and profile backlink .

They should use their announcement thread to start up their communication with the platform members and if they don't have access to their previous account or maybe the account holder is not in terms with them, they should come up plane by letting the community know about it to gain trust back and also resolving any pending issues they had then.

He doesn't reply when he's receiving help. He's opening new threads asking silly questions. He isn't the only user doing this. Is it an example of creating accounts by ppl who want trust or merits?
