Well somethings going on at Mt Gox....
I made a script that pulls buy/sell/last prices from their API and have been refreshing it every once in a while for the past few hours (it worked previously to today) and the buy price went from 20.1 to 20.01 just a few minutes ago. It moved a few times before as well, but neither the sell/last has changed at all.

Can we get some conspiracy theories going while we wait? Lulzsec, Satoshi dumping millions? 
They seem to be overwhelmed by the volume, again. Site was already slow and buggy all day long. 3,3 million $ in volume today so far, new record again just a few days ago the all-time high was 2 million $ per day.
Was wondering if anyone had found out what's going on. Haven't seen any updates to the situation.

Finally working again... phew.
It seems that currently trading on Mt. Gox is not possible. For 17 minutes now the bid and ask values stand at 16.088 and 16.31 without any trade, volume continually declining.
I made a test trade with 1 BTC and it didn't even show "Your entire order can't be fulfilled". Before I came across an SQL error ... maybe there's something wrong with the database?!
Unfortunately it's 8pm on Sunday in Japan right now so it could well be another 12 hours before trading resumes.
Tradehill needs to support SEPA transfers fast!! I need to switch!

Kind of, MagicalTux said there was a bug (in mysql, i think) that caused the whole system to lockup.
He's in IRC answering questions now.

Yup, got an alert that the price passed $20 (jumped from $16) then the ticker ground to a halt..
