Lack of information/education is what's wrong with the market. The internet have may it so easy that even a newbie (having little or no knowledge in investing) can jump right into investing and their emotions make the best out of them when FUD or FOMO season comes just as we're experiencing now.

For what i believe is that the market is having a issues or difficulties mostly to those big whales that are panicking on selling , and our market is very volatile , it can increase and even vice versa.

For what i've learn is have patience and just monitor for what is happening right now.

hahah...there is nothing wrong with the market mate...it's just a mere volatility which we are experiencing k. i wish most cryptocurrency investors really understood the concept of crypto investment to stop all this fear and panic that is spreading throughout the crypto community.

him pumping BSV doesn't mean he is also dumping BTC. in fact as i said a lot of times before i seriously doubt that he even has enough bitcoin to sell and really affect the bitcoin price in any meaningful sense. and even if he had he wouldn't sell something so valuable that he has been trying to take over for the past years.

he is just spending his money on BSV to pump it and as the pump succeeds a little it attracts a lot of desperate investors in the market who have been losing in other altcoins to join in one of the coins that is being pumped so the pump becomes bigger.

Yes what happens is that there a large scale FUD where some people want to reduce more value at this time, you're right I agree but this disposal really disappointed other bite holders so many people were frustrated to see the market falling. For those who buy found high in value don't panic this is not the end of the market, this is a process of market revival.

i think the market is not wrong in this matter,
it's just that some people are easily incited by the FUD that revolves around it. they will regret it in the future.

strong holders will eat weak holders. be wise in making decisions, don't let you lose more money just because of FUD.

'strong holder' - a person who HODL's to zero is STRONG ( Orwellian? just kinda sorta ), ignorance is strength, freedom is slavery, poverty is wealth(BTC)

'weak holder' - a person who takes his profits and buys on the dip

'smart holder' - a person who doesn't buy btc, or the HODL narrative

We are here to learn to understand the market, if we don't understand then we have to keep digging it up, don't blame the market but endure the good thing is the best. We are required to be able to play in the crypto market so we have to master this game and don't complain, there must be a way to get something more profitable.

Nothing is wrong. now coins are trying to improve themselves. there are those who are trying etf, hardfork, and all of them aim to re-attract investors and then the market will return to good again.
Good coins will do their best just to back on track but it will not happen easily and it will take more time before we see the growth. The wrong with the market is that, manipulation is still in force and they are trying to create more panic so they can own more bitcoin. This is totally a devastating trend of the year, no one knows what is the dip price so people continue to panic and sold their token at a big loss. Let’s hope to see the dip price now, so we can start bouncing back and hopefully more investors will come this time.

Nothing is wrong with the market, all PONZI's end this way.

All crypto is shit-coin, how can you make the argument there is any 'good coin'?

Next thing we know people will be pumping&dumping shit, because shit-sells.

You can fool some of the people some of the time like the most recent parabolic-rise of btc, but you can't fool all the people all the time, everybody on earth now knows that bitcoin was a PONZI.

It's game over, but the HODL-ers all think there is a GREATER FOOL, guess what you get holding the bag, your are the greatest fools.

People are just tired of waiting and giving up, too stressed out especially with the price dropping and dropping, I wouldn't be surprised if it goes below 1k until eventually it will even out. Maybe this is truly what we need to really stop worrying about the price and focus on the tech behind it.

Nothing is wrong in the market, and we can't do anything to make it better since it is a year of decline.

The price of Bitcoin are still continuing to decline and that really hurt a lot of people investing and trading crytocurrencies. Some are still pariently waiting, some are not that patient. Instead of making other people worry what might happen next, I will be just looking at the past prices and price charts of Bitcoin since we all see it goes from 3 digit, to 5 digit price..

Inflation, scams, demonitization and FUD which are overall a bearish market which is still in effect then no wonder crypto currency will temporarily will crash as the people are in fear to join this investment anymore. Hopefully the crypto currency will bounce back as i believed so as it was in this situation for so many times before and still did survived.

Oh! I guess you think bitcoin is a ponzi scheme, right?
Its like you are getting it twisted, if I am not the one that got you wrong.
Bitcoin is sponsored by different wealthy organizations who believes and supports wealth spread all over the world. And it is not that we just fix money into bitcoin and go and rewithdraw with massive interest. We also help those organizations by promoting them on our social medias in our own way. Kindly look into it.

Theres still lunar year ahead, BTC won't stop dropping.
We're simply in a bear market, prices tend to go down in such circumstances, but bear in mind that this is just a cycle, sooner or later there'll be a reversal and the market will recover.

"where will the money come from...?"
The capital will come from investors, once the governments around the world start implementing strict regulations in the crypto space that can help further legitimize cryptocurrencies, institutional investors will not think twice before jumping into the crypto bandwagon and start making money.

The decline of bitcoin in the last few months is likely due to the circulation of ETF news and predictions from various prominent prominent figures who believe in the fall of Bitcoin at the end of 2018 which is highly trusted by some users.

I know it's hard to understand where it came from to heal the market, there's so many investors back out or sell there bitcoin for the same reason because they fear to lose their invested money. im reading all their post to understand everything what is happening, base on it all biggest investors stop or finish the contract, and they wait again for the right time to invest in market to ensure their invested money.

BTC won't stop dropping.

Of course it will not stop falling because many people are in panic and are selling with losses and come and complain here in the forum.

After this, after everything...

Are you talking like the price drop was something from another world

where will the money come from to heal the market ?

money will come from people who believe in the potential of bitcoin, we have:

NYSE Operator’s Bakkt Confirms End of January Launch Date For Digital Assets Platform

Nasdaq Partners with VanEck to Release ‘Regulated, Surveilled’ Digital Assets Products

And why should they?

because bitcoin is lucrative

p/s : lost everything i could afford to lose

You lost because you sold with losses.

The capitalization of the marketcap is not real:

You kidding right?

The increase was produced by pumps and dumps of the shitcoins / altcoins.

so lemme ask, What causes the pump? is it the fiat traders send to exchanges to buy the coins or do they just send air to buy the coins?

1 shitcoin x costs 0.25 your maximum coins is 100.000,000 x 0.25 = 25,000,000$

Pump shitcoin x costs up 0.50 100.000.000x0,50 = 50,000,000$

And u seem not to understand how Market cap is derived... Market cap is (circulating coins x price of each coin) This means the circulating coins are held by people who used their real money to buy the coin.
The rise in price is driven by demand, even if you think it was a pump... real money was used to buy those coins, not air.
When people decide to cash out, demand will fall, coin price will fall and the market cap will automatically fall. One thing for sure is Money in or money out of the market plays major role
I clearly know what am talking about.

You are probably one of those who bought when the market was soaring high... right? I feel for ya. Those who bought in January Last year and cashed out Later on in December or in the first half of this year are smiling and waiting to cash in again. So NO, there is nothing wrong with the market. A healthy market involves both bearish and bullish trends.

When getting into a market, always expect an aggressive bearish trend after an aggressive bullish trend and vise versa. This when you know when to exit before you lose all your profit or even hit losses on your initial investment.

And Never ever try to be so greedy, Take the small profits if possible, come back another day... your downfall is when you want to be a millionaire in a fortnight.

Where will the money come from?
I also have a question, Where did it come from last year when the total coin market cap hit an all-time high of $800Billion+

The capitalization of the marketcap is not real:

The increase was produced by pumps and dumps of the shitcoins / altcoins.

1 shitcoin x costs 0.25 your maximum coins is 100.000,000 x 0.25 = 25,000,000$

Pump shitcoin x costs up 0.50 100.000.000x0,50 = 50,000,000$

(With a single crypto pump, we have increased the marketcap by $ 25,000,000)

The coinmarketcap capitalization varies according to the value that increases or decreases each crypto.

It is not the cash.

Sorry if you did not explain well my English is not very correct.

Agree.  Current stages of bitcoin is the same as many other investments over the years - ups and downs and then ups again.  Eventually it can lead to your fortune unless you do like many people do and panic sell at high loss.

Its not like i don't believe in the technology - i just dont belive in the people.

p/s : lost everything i could afford to lose, when market gets healed a little bit ill sell it all and give my full force working in something else and theres ton of losers like me waitting for that chance to happen - another bad point for the answer "where will the money come from...?"

Nothing is "wrong" with the market. Pool of morons eventually gets emptier and this scam is going to end.

I know, what answers I get. "Btc has been here for 10 year, this kind of drop is not first one, HODL, dont look at the prices, just keep USING". The last is my favourite one by far.

When the price is cheap it can bring new whales into the market. This makes it more difficult to manipulate unless they collaborate and work together with raising and dumping the prices

lunar year had never have anything to do with bitcoin ever!

After this, after everything where will the money come from to heal the market ?
the manipulation can never continue until eternity. at some point it will stop and they won't be able to do it anymore and that is when the recovery will start and with it all those who are staying out until it ends will come back and make will become healthy again.

but unfortunately since people let them manipulate the market, they become bigger whales in this process and we will see the same manipulation again in a year or two. unless either the market grows too big to make them smaller whales in comparison or people stop giving their bitcoin's cheap to whales while letting them dump the market.

i just dont belive in the people.
I dont really get what you mean in this question, are you asking about where the money  will come from if bitcoin's price will go up? if this is your question, It will came from the investors and the holders who trust bitcoin/ this technology.

You dont need to believe in the people in the crypto community, just believe in the technology if you want but if your trust is not enough maybe you should quit like what others did.
