I'm having this error, but it's because I'm tweeting often. There is a delay after a time of twitters in followed

BRB! I'm going to try to tweet the URL of the post above my post, the one you're currently reading: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8307057

EDIT: It worked, then I deleted it. Must have been a glitch the other day, albeit I'm not yet able to confirm via email the new account because I've yet to receive the email from Twitter. Others are in the same boat as I.

when I was posting a link of my thread on Bitcointalk with my twitter account, met this:

what's wrong with it?

I've not noticed any problems did you try contacting their support?  Hopefully it is just a glitch and not some kind of censorship is all I can say.  I doubt it at the moment because this is the first I've heard of this happening.
Censoring the bitcoin forum?  Huh Huh

I think he thinks the links aren't going threw because it's Bitcoin related is my point.  Not trying to insist it's a conspiracy just addressing the issue the OP brought up or at least how I interpreted it.

Somebody was probably spamming links to their crappy alt coin thread or giveaway or something and twitter autoblocked it.

I just posted a link to an article that has "Bitcoin" in the url with no problem. Maybe just a temporary glitch.

I think they're blocking Bitcoin related links. Try some mundane link.

EDIT: I just confirmed my theory: Tiger Woods mmmkay. Bitcoin no mmmkay.

If that is true, it leaves a very bad taste.... Undecided

I don't use twitter, but I think it is not unrealistic to assume that governments try to influence public opinion at services like twitter through censorship and content manipulation. We don't know if twitter is forced to do this or if they are doing it proactively.

I really hope that this is not true.
Twitter is not government agency but independent company in free market.
If government can press companies over such issues, this is not good at all.

Can help but wonder if this is some sort of genuine concern over suspicious links, or just a ham-fisted attempt at censorship.  Disconcerting news if they're blocking links with no good reason.  Quite glad I never bothered getting an account there.  Maybe they want people to start using twister instead.

Same here, yesterday, when I set up a new account for a new venture. I'm still waiting for the email to confirm the account.
