You guys are assuming the account is in the possession of the original owner, and I see no reason to do this. Even if it was the original owner, they're kind of glossing over how they came to possess that kind of BTC in the first place.

Good to see some early adopter members of this market had given out some words about those pizza moment which is indeed a very sad situation where it do leave some regret feeling that we shouldnt
have spent those coins but well, who had actually anticipated for this thing to go that high? Even that pizza guy might still have that nightmare until this very moment on why he had
spent out much bitcoin for some slice of pizza but well we cant turn back into the past, whats done is done. On my part about those pizza moment is on when i do waste up on spending my coins
since from 2016 and hadnt save up that much.I would have been rich if i do able to do so.

As long as you got the money for the sold Waves it is all not that bad. Cryptopia shut its doors with some of my coins on their exchange, but I didn't even know in detail anymore what was there and in which amounts. The procedure to resolve the issue was way too complicated.

That's such a huge amount of BTC but you have nothing to regret about since that amount has helped lots of people already since you mentioned that you donated it. My pizza moment was when I sold an altcoin which I thought was a shitcoin not knowing that it could reach $1 this year. I was regretful but that's part of our growing process in crypto.

All of this is a reference to the regret in the past about something we have sold. If I talk about my "Bitcoin Pizza moment", I probably regret a lot of things. I used to own hundreds of Bitcoins and then sold them because I was a trader. I owned tens of millions of DOGE coins in 2015 and I gambled all the DOGE I had. When I was introduced to cryptocurrency, it was all about Bitcoin. So I only bought little amounts of Bitcoin. When I had extra money, I sometimes preferred that it would be converted to Bitcoin. It was only Bitcoin. And then I started to get introduced to other cryptocurrencies. I learned it a little later that there are so many other cryptocurrencies aside from Bitcoin. It was then when I started to divert savings to them, even buying them using my Bitcoin. Later on I realized they all grew in value but only because Bitcoin was rising fast. It would have been higher if I stuck to Bitcoin.

That's a lot of money out there but those things help a lot in order to achieve what we are having right now. You guys are one of the reasons we became successful today. those early investors help a lot to achieve our goals today. My pizza moment was when I invested big in the cloud mining investment platform where I thought it was the only way how we can invest in bitcoins back in late 2015. The bad news is, when the time I fully maximized my earnings, I didn't get anything cause it turns out to be scammed and all of our investment was stolen. I think if I calculated the amount that I lost to the current price, it was worth about 10,000 - 20,000 dollars.

I just realized that selling most of my Ether (which I bought for a fraction of a dollar during the ICO) only at a couple of dollars wasn't the smartest move I ever did. I bought a couple of thousand of Ether and I can tell you it hurts! Wink

Back then I thought getting like 10 x the investment is awesome. Not for a second did I believe that Ether could touch four figures. It might even soon be at five figures. That is my bitcoin pizza moment, but yours is also interesting.

I have another one though, but that was a good friend. He mined Bitcoin and sold 30,000 Bitcoin for 30,000 dollars and bought a BMW! Cheesy

I think that there is no need to regret anything at all and never! Experience is the most valuable and important thing in our life and this experience is priceless, the rest is tinsel and trifles. If you once owned so many bitcoins, this is good, if life gave you the opportunity, then it will give you more in the future. For example, no one bothered to do NFT in the last year and make a lot of money on this topic. I am sure that there will be many more such opportunities in the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain, so you have been in trend for a long time and you just should not give up, look at everything with irony and be happy no matter what!

Pizza Moment refers to one's vision of Bitcoin at the moment they spend it and compare the past moment with the future. I once bought 10BTC for $ 5000 in 2016 and transferred them to a multi-level investment website. Even though I have made a good profit, if I hold 10 BTC so far I have about 550K $. I have no regrets about my decisions at the time I bought Bitcoin and how I used them. I am regretting the past, that doesn't make sense.

I guess my Bitcoin Pizza Moment is that i have heared about Bitcoin in 2011 when i got more advertises on the internet for Bitcoin and Litecoin. I wasn't 18 back then and couldn't invest in it. But that's not my Pizza Moment. The real Pizza Moment was when i searched then for free ways to got Bitcoins and as far as i remember me i found Freebitco.in, solved the captcha once and then let it be, because i only had to solce one captcha and get some sort of money for that? This shit can't be for real, it's 100% scam. 7 years later, when i got really into crypto and free ways to earn it, guess on which faucet i'm claiming now... And at the moment i only get 3-4 Satoshis. Imagine how much i would have now, if i haven't thought this is scam Shocked

But at the moment i have a nice portfolio for free, only for solving some tasks. *So i have that going for me, which is nice*

Me neither. I spent some BTC in the past, nowadays it would be worth more but it's tricky to count it like that. For me the point is to never spend (or sell) all your BTC. You can spend as the price rises to enjoy some profits, so if the price keeps rising (as most of us expect) you won't regret spending a little bit in the past.

It happened for almost everyone to sell their coins last year for a large amount and did not imagine this year would be like this. But don't think too long about the regrets you experience because this can be a great lesson to be more confident with virtual currencies that will surprise you later. I also did the same thing by selling at a time when the price I expected would never go up again. but all my strategies have been broken. I believe there will come a time when the price will fall again in a few days and grow back, that time you should be looking forward to.

I am not having the Bitcoin moment but certainly has the same kind of feel when you are selling off the coins at cheap rates just before the rally. It has happened to me in XRP, ETH, ETC, BNB and in Doge but it cannot be matched with your million dollar donation Cheesy

One of my accepted payment methods of choice were Liberty Reserve dollars. One guy suggested he could pay me in bitcoin, and we are talking about probably 70-80 bitcoins at the time. I turned it down as I still had no idea what he was talking about and took Liberty Reserve instead. Dumb cunt.

I bought a shitty "make money online" guide for $30 BTC back in 2017 and I got scammed on Discord for $100 BTC back in May last year.The Bitcoin price was way lower in May 2020 and 2017,so I've lost way more money.

I didn't realise I've got a 'bitcoin pizza' moment until recently. Back in 2017 and 2018, there were so many signature campaigns I participated in that help me earn some bitcoin. I, however sold them off as soon as it accumulates to a decent figure. The wallet I was using then is blockchain.info wallet (now blovkvhain.com) and all records of transactions were there.
Recently, I logged in to my blockchain wallet and I saw how much each of those transactions I made then worth now and I'm totally surprised and sad at the same time. I'm surprised those bits of bitcoin then could worth so much now and I'm sad because I would have made so much more if I had held my coins

The bitcoin pizza moment for me was not with Bitcoin but with Dogecoin, when I sold 185,000 Dogecoin at a price of 0.01 and got only 1,800$ while its price now is about 120,000 $. It was a very sad moment for me. I never imagined that the price of a Dogecoin would ever reach. More than 0.02$, but it flew up to 0.7$, of course I feel sad when I remember that, but in the end, I believe in luck and I am satisfied with the thing that I got because regret does not help.

for me its about not getting the right orientation about bitcoin when i heard of it during the ponzi golden days. it would have a great joy to keep some bitcoin back then and now find out i have them. this is indeed a big regret.

I traded alts and shitcoins until I made about 2.1 BTC during 2017-2018, well Bitcoin had dropped to the 10K level in 2018, so that was about ~$20K. Well during the crypto winter, I spent every last bit of it Grin

Today it would have been worth over $100K if I had decided not to sell off the coins.

I sold a Cryptolator Imperator physical coin loaded with 10,000 Dogecoins a few weeks ago (not to mention mixing it up with another unloaded one and ended up peeling two by mistake). This was when Dogecoin was trading for around $0.05 each. Of course it jumped up to the maximum price yesterday of around $0.70 each. Instead of making up to $7000, I ended up selling them for a few hundred dollars Grin

Ah well, I still made a decent profit from the original purchase price and had forgotten all about them until seeing the recent Dogecoin news lately. Not quite on your level, but the latest of many blunders and I expect many more in future!

Where have you been? I wish I'd met someone like you back in the days to tell me about BTC... unfortunately I only found out about BTC in 2013 by myself. That's my biggest regret. Of course there are more but sometimes I wish I have joined the train earlier.
