Hello,
What hashrate has RX 470 8gb on Cryptonight Heavy? Is it differ from RX 570?

RX470 is around 670 h/s

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.34595244

RX570 around 686 h/s

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.40507570

not that much difference in hash

however if the price would be that not far, choose the 570 instead

Seeing all of your hashrates with Cryptonight Heavy I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong with my R9 290s. It just seems that 440H/s is a bit on the low side.
Have tried XMR-Stak and xmrig

seems like same with my card 290
Was really hoping that I'm doing something wrong Cheesy
Well, think I keep mining CryptonightV7 then.

A little late, long time lurker; new registeree, but I mine loki(cn heavy) with 2  r9 290x(trix, 3fan version) i get about 540-560 h/s stock clocks(1000core, 1300 mem) and about 600-620 h/s overclocked to (1060core, 1500 mem) runs stable @<65°c ambient temp 21°c ≈ 70°f.  And about 55°c with AC ambient temp 60°f.  I know the 290x have 4 more compute units than the 290, and u can unlock them in many 290s if they are only software locked, and from what I hear it isnt too intensive. Theres a progran that checks if theyre unlockable. Note: Undervolted core Voltage to 1075mV, and left mem alone. The 2 gpus and system is pulling ≈ 425ish watts from the wall.

I was using XMRIG AMD and my hash were only 745h/s per RX580 (8gb version) using 90% power, core 1340 , Mem 2250
I see a lot of people getting 1kh so SRBMINER claims better performance and effectively  now I get 950h/s using the same settings then previous  miner

what is the best miner for rx 580 4/8gb? also what core frequency is recommended? for eth im having 1150mhz/850mV so curious how to increase... basicaly all of mine are able to go for 1360 as based, but not sure what voltage to use? stock is 1150mV but trying to underclock, or better said find the sweet spot..1200 or 1300mhz? and what voltage....ill leave memory as is because it worked for eth stable so dont touch what works Cheesy
there is srb, xmr and claymore i think? anything else? i dont want to play with threads for each card in xmr....

It depends on your GPUs ASIC quality how high you can go on the voltage.

If you got a high ASIC quality you can run at a higher clock with a lower voltage but if you got a low ASIC quality you will need a higher voltage to run at a higher clock.

Generally you won't be able to run 1360mhz core engine clock at 850mV,  I couldn't even get some cards to run at 1126mhz with a voltage so low.

So try to increase it while lowering the core engine clock and see what you get. Most of the time its not worth running it so high because the speed improvements are not that great.

thank you for your response, i pasted above my results for 9 cards. not bad,but could be better. im a bit disappointed by hash for rx580 with 4gb only.

The algo is definitely not optimised for the older GPUs.

The Pitcairns which is the 7850/7870/270/370 gets like 275H/s or so. With CN it gets 520 H/s

The Tahitis which are the 7950/7970/280x gets like 330H/s or so. With CN they got 600H/s

well, actually I'm mining some cryptonight v7 coins with the help o srbminer and the hashrates are about 1900 h/s for vega56 and 990 h/s for rx480.. but I decided to test how my card can handl heavy algo, vega produce 1345 h/s while rx480 is about 630 h/s

Hi. You can use bxb-miner and evaluate it.
And also we started a bixbite public test. We will be happy if you take part in it  Smiley

In order to participate, you need to download the following:

1350 h/s vega 56 ref

1100mhz/1407

XMR Cast 0.9.6

AUG23 Driver

Try couple of hours improve i realize even same 56 ref, same brand, has different quality. Some can't even past 1407, some can do 1452. And rig crash after xx minutes.

Driver 18.3.4 crash a lot, idk why, win 1709. Go back Aug23

Change XMRCast 1.0 and add --maxmem --forcecompute make litte more hashrate.

Me 4 Vega56 4 GPUs rig >>> 635W (Using kill-a-watt) so it may @140-145w per GPU, 1385h/s
