The data fetched from the image chart above is gotten from the research made in 2022, which i want to believe is not the current one but as the way we may have it in Nigeria, i want to believe that due to the active involvement of our Nigerians youth in cryptocurrency, the country should still maintain it top position in Africa and one of the top in the world with high ranking for cryptocurrency adoption and growth rate.
The stoppage of p2p service on Binance, Okex and other centralized exchange/platforms will certainly reduce the rate in Nigeria a little bit because most Binance were the most active exchange for Nigerians. Some people are still finding it hard to purchase crypto with Fiat cos of this incident. I strongly believe we'll surely stand on our fit again and still remain at the top in Africa.
there is no amount of restriction by the government that will make Nigeria low his rank as top bitcoin and cryptocurrency in Africa, Nigeria  population on social media speaks voice no Africa country can outshine Nigeria when it comes to social media activities, if the government  block one mean the youth will still find update on another mean, the government are tried, don't play with Nigerian they always find way to be happy, no threat to our account can stop bitcoin  and our participation in other coins. the only effect is that it will affect those that want to invest new in bitcoin but old minners are not afraid.

I will like to clarify here that, the recent Exchanges crisis we face will have only a little effect on us here while the CBN restriction on bank transaction relating to cryptocurrency will have no significant effect because this same restriction was already existing by this time last year which did not show as an effect in our cryptocurrency and bitcoin adoption growth and I think this won`t be different either.

What is your expectation on this and do you think any country in African will be able compete with Nigeria for the top position this year? though doubt.

I'm sure due to the delisting of our Nigerian NGN p2p trading pairs from major crypto exchanges such as Binance, OKX and Kucoin, it's really going to affect our gap difference and transaction rate we execute with these other African countries, since it's obvious such data are always gotten from major exchanges. But moreover, I'm still very confident we are likely to still emerge first or either second with a slight gap difference with South Africa, which happens to be the next Crypto potential country in the next list to be published soon.

Nigeria is one of the top 1 african countries using bitcoin so far I don't know if there are other countries in africa that has taken over nigeria. Presently what you give was as a result of the information you had on site so we can assume that any other country in africa can likely take over. I think there was a country I was hearing about but couldn't get the exact one.

What is your expectation on this and do you think any country in African will be able compete with Nigeria for the top position this year? though doubt.

How many African countries have you heard on the news talk about crypto adoption or setting out policies that speak against it? Have you ever seen any person creating a single thread on the forum where he talks about crypto news in another  African country outside of Nigeria? Forget about the unnecessary comparison of Nigeria with any other Africa countries, Nigeria is the African giant when it comes to this crypto space and it's 💯 visible when you observe that we're the only African country that's actively repressed on the forum and we've with time grown in our numbers and popularity. From the 2023 report, Nigeria, in particular, stands out with a staggering 66.78% share in crypto interest which makes it to surpass all other African country combined together. Let's just hope that with time, we will have someone that's young enough and that understand the importance of crypto adoption and that the person will eventually emerge as our president, it wouldn't take more than a yeae or two before we take over the top spot in the global narrative.
I have seen news about some African countries on Cryptocurrency adoption while it may not be a common thing in BTT that doesn`t mean there is no growth in other African countries example https://www.forbes.com/sites/digital-assets/2024/02/21/ethiopia-to-become-the-first-african-country-to-start-bitcoin-mining/

Though other African countries can`t compete with Nigeria in cryptocurrency but with time they will because Nigeria is not the only African countries suffering economy crisis while many might still be able to hold up soon things will become even more difficult and majority will be looking a means of more income or source of living and majority will adopt cryptocurrency since the crypto space as been a source of living hood & life changer for many and we will even be a motivation to them.

We can`t literally just ignore other African countries even while though Nigeria is among the top ten in the world especially from the fact other Africans countries can still have the population to take them there but still lack the right knowledge or information of Crypto currency.

Last year Nigeria came out as the number one in Cryptocurrency adoption rate in African by chainalysis from June 2022 to July 2023

the image above shows the total amount of transaction that occur within the same time in comparison to other African Countries.

The data in the image above is from July 2022 to June 2023, we will be expecting another soon while is still obvious Nigeria will be topping especially from this year when Airdrop frenzy is back again.

As we non know how other country authorities fit take supported the adoption of bitcoin for their own place and if we also look at how our own govt dey try frustrate bitcoin users for here, e go dey hard to fit give actual prediction and determine the margin b/w us and other countries but e sure say we go stil lead this yr because Niaja citizens dey born as hustlers and never give up kind of humans for where we see am say if we no help ourselves nobody and not even the govt go help us.
So to me, we dey expect higher volume on our side.

I keep wondering why they will continue to compare Nigeria with other African countries instead of other countries in the world. Nigeria is number 6th globally according to he report done by the same chainalysist, and that should tell you that no African country come close to Nigeria. According to same report, 10.34% of Nigerians own cryptocurrencies, this number might even be higher than the population of many African countries.

Your concerns are valid but the truth is that none of them will be able to change the direction of things as regards to cryptocurrency in Nigeria. The good thing is that the crack down on cryptocurrency was not started by this administration but the previous one and Nigerians have already moved beyond their reach

The margin for the next release will definitely be wider than what we have seen before because cryptocurrency awareness is spreading like wildfire in Nigeria.

On our national level Nigeria, is a sleeping giant but when you come down to individual levels, Nigerians don't carry last in anything that they set out their minds to. Nigerians are goal achievers and in Africa, Nigerians are known to be leading in entertainment and businesses so it is not surprising that we are ahead of other African countries in the continent's cryptocurrency rating. Our inquisitiveness and drive to make money plus the increasing adoption of cryptocurrency in the country makes me to believe that we will continue to be the passetters in cryptocurrency in Africa, for many years to come, so yes I am looking forward to Nigeria, taking the lead in this year's chainanlyses ratings.

If not for anything it is Cristal clear that Nigeria is always at the forefront of anything that has to do with International recognition unlike other African countries so there is not doubt about our continuous engagement in cryptocurrency over the years and one thing about Nigerians is that we are always updated about anything happening around the world that's why we are mostly the first country to be informed about global happenings so we're very blessed in that aspect. Hence, Nigerians will always be at the top of other African countries in the crypto space.

Already Nigerians are very wonderful people because they believe in the saying that "when one door closes another door opens" so they don't completely resign to fate as they will always find a way to get things done against all odds. Right from when Federal government placed restrictions on cryptocurrency transactions Nigerians have always been a strong force in the crypto industry and they have made a lot of progress so far so there is no way they can lose interest in something that has liberated the life of many across the country.

I don't believe any other country in Africa can take that position from us, one thing about Nigeria citizens we are always very patient and hard working and we see good in almost every and we don't give up easily. And if you think Nigeria government policy can reduce us or bring us down from this rank then you are dreaming, the Nigeria government has always been bringing up policy's that will affect us in cryptocurrency but we still keep doing our thing and ranking high so the government policy won't affect us this year or next.
This year a lot of Nigeria citizens has joined the crypto world, the NOT COIN listing made it possible, many people has now seen that truly crypto they pay so I believe Nigeria will still be the top ranking in Africa.

While we will be expecting another analysis from them soon this probably this month, I think Nigeria will continue to top this with huge margin but I don`t really know how the adoption rate as been going in other African countries as it is currently going on with us now which may even make us top them with even more gap.
