I still choosing script algorithm, I don't know why but I like to mining litecoin because I feel that litecoin is worth for me. But I like to mining ethereum too, and I have some rx17 to mining ethereum. And I can have a lot of rigs, and then I think it's worth mining bitcoin or litecoin too although I don't know how much the reward to mining those coins.

it's true that there are so many different algorithms in mining, but I really like the algorithms in bitcoin mining and ethereum.

How's everyone doing?

I've seen a lot of different mining algorithms come out the past year or so.

It's been interesting to see the development and the rate of which some of the algorithms has changed.

Which algorithm is your favorite to mine?

Although the ease of mining with POS, the most valuable crypto is still using POW. And especially with Bitcoin, I think Satoshi knows something. If the POS were better, Satoshi would use it for Bitcoin. (Yes I know POS has founded after POW)

Mining is my life Grin

currently I’m still fully hope with algorithm cryptonight, equihash and Blake 14r asic

* for need a GTX I used full equihash algorithm like coin AION sometime to do switch to Horizen
* Also Radeon VEGA full allocation algorithm Cryptonight/note like coins DERO, LOKI as well switch to GRAFT
* And to ASIC I am focusing on coin Decred

just a moment, so I’ll try on like algorithm X16R, after hearing said my friend its very soft-working which algo but not Ravencoin certainly try another coin, perhaps as Veil Wink

My favorite algorithm is Ethash. He is not so "hot". Or am I just used to it Smiley
Additionally, it is important to highlight the high level of stability that the algorithm can boast of.

This is an altcoin mining topic and this place isn't suitable from the topic that OP started.

@OP move this to Mining (Altcoins) accordingly.

In what way was it "behaving strange"?
Was it using a lot of power or just being overall rough on the GPU's?
I noticed that at times, the GPU was drawing much power, and after a while it was going calmer again. I figured it had to do with the shift between the algos, so eventually I accepted it as normal. I don't know how much this constant algo-change affects the hardware though.

Last algo I was mining before I decided to stop was x16r (Raven Coin). It was unusual, because my GPU behaved a little bit strange, I guess due to the different algos combined in X16R. But I was satisfied with the reward in terms of Raven coins. The reward was very good initially.

The real algorithm I've used to mine the most is cryptonight.
Cryptonight is an effective solution for decentralization and anonymity. There were many attempts to produce industry grade hardware for mining cryptonight as well but most of it's popular coins went through upgrades to ensure they were mined using only CPU and GPUs.
