Just wondering will it be next XRP

I personally don't think so.
cause
1. the purpose seems different.
2. there are still lots of things need be done from current status.

maybe you can check stellar also? (which I personally think the target, roadmap, and what's implemented are much better).
I dont know alot about stellar but see from the chart its can make profit from the dip

Actually I found this from reddit
------------------------------------------
What is unique about the project?

Cardano is the first blockchain project to be built on peer reviewed academic research.
This level of scrutiny of the underlying technology is an industry first. Further to this, Cardano is unique in that it’s written in the Haskell coding language.
Haskell is considered to be one of the most secure programming languages, minimizing the number of errors and adding extremely robust security to the platform. This includes use of a technique called formal verification, which allows mathematical proof of the correctness of code.
Cardano is also designed to operate in regulated industries whilst protecting individual privacy. Applications built on Cardano can be individually customised to meet regulator requirements, but individuals can protect their privacy by choosing whether they want to enter regulated domains.
------------------------------------------
Two questions:
1. Haskell itself could keep security?
2. How to maintain privacy and regulator requirements at the same time?

In the top list market cap, I saw Cardano go to No.14. It is quite high. So I went to his official site https://www.cardanohub.org/.
Even it contains some detailed info, such as weekly report, ICO audit report, still the overall goal is too ambiguous, so and the roadmap. who is the project client? what's he difference between it and more general purpose ethereum?

Has anyone checked deeply the academic white paper and code? Or maybe official people is passing by and  could more solid materials here?
Thanks a lot!
