It is kind of alarming knowing that my data were maybe used by other without authentication. I honestly don't have a lot of knowledge about this certain issue but by just seeing the word data leak, it is somehow scary. I don't know where will they used those data. But since there's already a move about it, hopefully it would be settled soon. In my point of view, Facebook is a trusted site for r me. The way it makes my life be shared to other contribute on it. But seeing this stuffs makes me doubt sometime about Facebook. Hopefully they will now make our data more secured as they learned from this event.

It’s actually very scary and I believe if you watch House of Cards, the corrupt Underwood used the same thing to win the election and now it’s been used here in the real world and it goes on to show how Facebook is really capable of which data from the website was used to win an election.

Scary as hell. And yes, good recommendation, in House of Cards you will be able to see how far it can get.
Since we are making recommendations for nice tv shows that can show this kind of reality, I will recommend:
- Black Mirror: a different approach in each chapter about how technology is messing humankind.
- Westworld: in a world with no consequence (as the internet), how the people can become the biggest s***t or the best person ever, there is no a middle point on it.
- The film ANON, in which we will be able to see how people who don't share everything in their lives are seen as "strangers" and "dangerous", for, of course, if you like to conserve your privacy is because you have something to hide (sarcasm).

I think those willing to use Facebook should, at least, get informed about the consequences. It is sad how all the people I know always share anything in their cyberlife as if it were more "real" than the real one. Maybe by watching some impressions in the shape of a film or a tv show they can understand how scary the situation is.

What's your opinion on cambridge analytica facebook scandal?

whom do you think has done the mistake and what's your review???

There's no mistake, from my point of view. Well, if it was a mistake, it will be to be discovered.
The Cambridge Analityca Scandal is just a proof of what had happened for years regarding the Facebook enterprise, though.  In my opinion, this is just the top of the iceberg, but, sadly, I don't think it is going to be a serious investigation. Just take a look at the Zuck's appearance in front of the Congress and the US Senate, look at the questions they made to him, as in a social reunion. It wasn't serious enough, it was just theatre.

The Cambridge Analytica scandal just put into the table something everybody already knew: Facebook surveillance and how the use of the platform can even change the way you think, But nobody cares, people still use the platform, still share anything they do and their relatives...

It's our own fault for using a service that collects so much of our personal information and has the power to ruin individuals by blackmailing them and using their data against them at any given time.

Stop using google, stop using facebook.
Start with yourself.
+1

But this is hard, facebook and google is already entangled with our daily lives especially if we are just sitting in front of our computer looking for something new today. It's why each social network or app that we use has "terms of agreement" and we don't read that. It's the consequence and return of after using their service, they are recording each of our moves, typed words and even our places, they can track us down. One day, facebook, google and other well known social medias will be used against us and there will be no more privacy.
