As a trading newbie for about four months ago, I started trading with $100 and I got like 8 altcoins but as a newbie all the altcoins value decreased to $29 and there was a huge panic then I sold all the altcoins.

I am unfortunate in my first trading. When I was to pick an altcoin, I seen the popular one that is the line so I buy it without thinking or reading some information about trading I did not know that you must buy an altcoin in it's lowest price and sell it at highest price. So for now the altcoin that I buyed is stock in my exchange site because I was waiting for it to pump high to make some profit.

My trading story would always start with me trading Forex. Trading Forex as a novice was not quite a good experience, but it has actually helped me build a strong foundation now that i'm into the cryptocurrency trading.
All u need is to embark on a proper analysis on the coin(s) you intend trading; have a good entry and know when to exit; and again, it is always advisable to invest money, you know you can path with, in order for emotions not to set-in while trading.

my first experience in trading is very worse i lost of my ivestment because i'm not educated to invest in trading i said myself is part of experience thats is my neglegence but now i have little skill in trading how to monitor my investment and make profits in with an strategies, study and learning are the best way how to become skilled trader.

Everyone is willing to make a trade, but the first experiences can sometimes lead to a lot of money loss. There are a few ways to get the most out of this situation. Most important is to become experienced in graphics reading and comprehension. The second important method is to try to identify the system with small amounts at the beginning.

I started with 10% lucky ethereum gain in my first experience. And then I started to trade ico tokens on bittrex and this resulted in huge loss for me. I couldn't manage to make this token trade well.

then I totally left token trading.

Back in 2015 when the price of BTC was about $240.00 USD (yes, after the first ever $1k bubble), I bought like 0.5 BTC, when the price went to just above $900.00 USD, I sold 90% of it... to buy a Darkglass bass pedal motherfuckeeeeer! hahahhaahaha.

Aaaaaanyways, I wish i hold those BTC more... worth ir for my bass tone tho' lol.

On the good side, back in 2015 too, I bought like 150k for RDD and 260k of DOGE, I month ago I trade them all for ETH, I ended up with 1.1 ETH or so, good timing I guess, it ended up well on this side of my alts.

Cheers!.

I advise you to start trading with a small nominal. it can help you to learn how to trade properly, you can get skill and experience. This will be useful if one day we do a much bigger Trading. You can get this experience to take the right decision and I highly recommend you to try everything that can help you to practice the skill. If you make it through various conditions then I am sure you will become one of the people who get success.

When I was introduced to bitcoins, just like every other newbie's mindset, I used to panic when crashes used to occur. But eventually, I started collecting some information from dailyfx and some articles on CCN that are based on bitcoin price analysis and understanding the basics helped me a lot while trading. It used to be much better when arbitrage trading was very beneficial which isn't now. Unlike other things, trading needs a lot of patience and luck is all I learnt during the furious experience I've had during the past 5 years of bitcoin-ing.

Lost so much on first few weeks of trading, sold some coins at way lower than buy price due to panic.

Bought shitcoins when they are pumping, there was almost zero volume from next day.

But now I am getting atleast some profit from short term trading....

For now ive stopped trading altcoins, but before when Im new I lose a lot because lack of knowledge. Trading is a difficult to do if we are not learning in every detail. Earn knowledge and we can survive in trading.
I think many of us didn't have a successfull first experience when it comes to trading, trading cryptocurrency is probably the most time consuming and stressfull way of earning profit, i started trading some altcoins a year agao and i remember having to stare at the screan 15h a day watching the prices and looking for news about a potential change in the price, i remember waking up in the middle of the night because i had notification that the price is going up, probably trading altcoins is hard and not for everyone because of how thier prices are constantly changing, that is why i just stick to bitcoin trading because unlike them you don't have to worry too mauch about the price droping.

I started 3 months ago by buying some etherem and litecoin. These coins have been doing pretty good so far. Then, I opened bittrex account and bought ripple, golem, tenex, apex. I have been investing in stocks for almost a year. I have 25% of my portfolio in crypto and 75% in stocks. I made 3 times more money in crypto in 3 months than what I made from stocks in one year.

I have not started bitcoin trading yet. But I did trading in real life. At first, you will find yourself uncomfortable, knowing that you do not have an experience. You will make many mistakes and regret many things. But in time, you will manage to overcome them and move forward.

I am going to get into the bitcoin trading in a matter of time as soon as I gather a good amount of bitcoin because without bitcoin, you cannot trade.
I am a risk taker person but in this trading I still hesitate things, I am not a full time here in forum I don't have the lot of time, maybe because the nature of my work is toxic and I am taking 4hrs a day for my daily travel going to work, so time is my main problem, but still making sure to read updates especially trading because one day I know I'm gonna do it.

For me trading is just the normal swing trading way. I will always buy coins ay low prices, will stack them until I'm satisfied and will wait for the right opportunity to pass by so that I can sell them. :-)

Isn't that is the best way to do it?

I love it that way only because it keeps us safe form loosing the profits. Also, I only invest into top 10-15 coins in the coinmarketcp and believe me they will always have great waves so that you can put your stakes in the crest and then sell at trough. Very easy to work with them. If you invest into new coins then it gets little risky business though. So choose the coins wisely in first step.

My first trading story is not good at all. Well I think it is fine that since it is my first time but I should recover from it. I earned a token (will not mention what token it is), by the time I received my token I notice that its price suffer from big dump. Now I hold it like many other people does. Eight ( 8 ) days before one month of holding, it pumps. I do not remember the exact price but I triple the price when I received it. Now, I did not sell it and I thought it will pump more, I also did not monitor the price since I am very busy. The next day, I notice the price is going down. I just told myself it is okay, just wait for the next pump. The next pump happened after two months, but unlike the first pump it is less than 50%. I told myself again to wait for the next pump but until now it is dumping. It dumps almost 70% from the last pump price. I just missed the wonderful opportunity.

Earlier when i was new to trading,i didn't had enough knowledge about crypto currencies. So,i just used to get excited on seeing a coin's price rapidly increasing.I don't know that its getting pumped.I used to buy such coins and just simply follow the price rise with excitement that i'm going to make huge profits. But suddenly, when it gets dumped,i would get shocked and i would try my best to sell it ASAP.But it would be not useful. Its price would fall rapidly. At last,i would just finish the trade by selling my coins at very low price than it was bought.

So,whenever you invest in such pumped coins, just fix a profit margin of 10% or 15% to avoid losses. Also,do your own survey to find the most under valued coin to get more profits.

the main thing to do in trading is that you should be able to control your emotions, try to keep updated market information. choose a coin that has a high potential to provide benefits and also has a high volume. for now i suggest to try bch because i also have gained much profit from it.

I am not a trading expert but i follow the safest strategies that guarantee profit, it is not a huge profit but at least it is guaranteed.
Avoid strategies that offers more than 10% profit It may work some times but it is too risky if you are not an expert and know exactly what you are doing.
Many online videos and articles can help you become a good trader. But if you still not confident that you can do it by your own, just follow a successful trader and do exactly what he does.

Yes it is hard to learn but if you become dedicated to this I'm sure you will learn it. Trading is a hard job but very profitable if you have the techniques that can help you to join the market and become the earners of it. It is good to learn trading step by step so that these steps will help you alot and teach you about having a patient is a good one in making profits in trading.

I joined the trading May of this year. At first it was difficult as i dont have any background and my knowledge is more on self study. I started in small amount i bought xem i earned quiet good. Then eventually xem price dip, i choose to sell it even the price is very cheap. From poloniex i transferred to bittrex, because the are may coins in bittrex. My earning in bittrex is not like big like others, but i am contented, because being greedy will lead you to big loss. Currently i am still learning and im hoping that sooner i can be a successful trader.

I'm also still learning about trading because my first trading is so bad I was wrong in the strategy I bought at a high price because I think the price will continue to rise but it turns out the price keeps going down and right now I just keep holding it until the price back again is at least the same as I bought

For now I quit from trading because maybe trading not my business. Before i did it and can make alot profit but after 2 month later I in big loss. I think,  I need to learn more about psikilogos of trading not just learn about technical or fundamental analysis.
Basics are basics, if you don’t know how to make the base of building strong, then how can you expect the upper building will be made strong and stiff. Bitcoin world is not that easy. It looks like a game but when you come in it and see who hard things are to make money, you are surprised. You must have learned enough before getting into trading. Still chance is here, just avail.

I agree and if you think you knew a lot, you're mistaken it and be little it as in trading world there's always be a room for improvement and studying is non stop but if you just think and see the other side of picture you'll just be amaze by it. Quit trading if your heart desires it but if you think you'll do better than it then just go with the ride and surely you'll be amaze,

I just want to say a little that I know about trading, usually a mistake that is often done by traders is when the price on altcoin is decreasing this I say because I think not a few traders who get a loss because they can not deal with such situations. they tend to get panic with a price reduction on altcoin so prefer to sell it rather than hold it. and I think you should focus more on trading so you can see the crypto market movement at any time. yes, I think that's just what I said and hopefully can be useful for you.

One of my senior used to tell me this thing that “Trading is an art and not everyone is an artist”. So I am actually trying to become an artist in the world of trading. So far, I am trying my level best in learning all the basic things which can help me in becoming better trader. I am planning to start trading by the end of this year. By that time, I’ll keep on learning more things for better results.
It is not at all an easy thing to become an artist and that too in the world of trading. Trading is in fact the most difficult thing to do than any other job. As far as trading story is concerned, I started trading with only a small amount of money.

With the passage of time, when I keep on learning more things, I increased the amount of money which I invested in trading and now I am earning a very good amount of money.

I am trading crypto currency as well as learning. I take experience in trading to gain knowledge and so many available information here in forum about trading. All you need to do is search, read and ask if you want to know more. My first experience in trading was tragic because i almost lost half of my capital in just a day when the time that i panic with the price of the coin goes down quickly.

My trading experience is limited to only this year, I about doubled my bitcoin holding within a few months, in terms of learning I didn't really use any resources, I watched the markets and looked for trends and what I deemed to be opportunities. Perhaps I have just been lucky, I guess time will tell.

I do not know anyone is proficient in trading if I think it is just their speculation. I also continue to learn trading. at that time I lost a lot because of lack of strategy that I apply, I do not see the market before and I immediately sell it when the market is down. But recently the price has gone up again. but over time I can return my lost money in trading.

I just starting in trading, because i need some waves in my account. I started it without any knowledge in bittrex.  I had a hard time in signing up an account and when in the trading site, i just dont know what to do and how to start.  I just remember the basic rule about "buy low sell high", which i did.  I buy low,  eventhough i really cant understand the chart and how to input numbers.  All i want at that time is to buy some waves,  i am really not sure if i bought my waves in a low price.  Lesson learn there is, you must know how to read chart and how to use that trading site.
Myself I know about trading. But I don't have that much time to buy and sell a Bitcoin. Trading is once high profit or more loss. So many traders are careful to invest in the Bitcoin. I also want to invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum. But I have so many work in day to day life. I am not maintain properly. Because I learn current updates in the cryptocurrency market and working also. In future I like to trade in Bitcoin and Ethereum

For now I quit from trading because maybe trading not my business. Before i did it and can make alot profit but after 2 month later I in big loss. I think,  I need to learn more about psikilogos of trading not just learn about technical or fundamental analysis.
I also quit trading because its give me lost in 2 ways first I started with one tipster and lost some good amount as he was good in start but after just few days give some big loses and run away never came back here any clarification after this I started with my own mind and this also not good for me as I done many mistakes too much loses now completing quit and just watching some charts and analysis because its very important hopefully I will try this again but after some time as its need too much study and research

I started as a complete noob. Before I though trading is as easy as pie. I think just buy low sell high.  So without a pure knowledge of chart reading.  I buy at the bottom.. Not knowing that I bought at the bottom of hourly charts.  And I bought at the top of a coin about to crash.

Big lesson,  learn chart reading,  dont be lazy if you hate to lo
se your money.

At first, trading is very hard to understand but when Ive learned this forum somehow I had an idea where to start. But then, its not stopping me to learn and to grow my learnings just here in forum. I see to it that I truly understand so I watched vidoes on how to trade and master the process. Its hard to trade but later on for sure you will know and how you manage your trading.

The only thing I've learnt through trading is that if I'd done the exact opposite of what my emotions wanted to do I'd be thriving. I can't manage that. So I don't trade.

Being the master of your own psychology vastly outweighs any learning about crypto itself. If you don't have it then don't start.

I used to spend a lot of time trading. Average out all my profits and losses, turns out I had made a tiny amount of profit. Given the amount of time I spent watching, researching, reading, setting limit orders, etc. I decided it wasn't worth my time. Now I just hodl.

Probably I just wasn't very good at it Grin

My number one tip is to be patient. Don't ever panic sell or panic buy. The FOMO can be strong, you have to resist it.

First trading experience was in the spring of 2013; I bought 0,52BTC for 15 euros but managed to lose 90% within hours. Another attempt at trading in december 2013 went pretty well initially as I jumped into Doge while the value shot up, but profits were mostly wasted after that due to stupid moves from my side.

A new attempt was made in december 2016 as I put around 85 euros in alts. Again, in the following months I made some incredibly stupid trades but due to the extremely bullish market the value of my crypto increased to above 1700 euros. However, value relative to BTC didn't changed much and therefore I consider this period as a 'succesfull failure' in regards to trading. I sold my crypto (100% alts) in last August.

Right now I'm returning in the crypto-market and plan to increase value in BTC instead of fiat money. I won't go entirely into alts anymore as it is simply too dangerous but plan to do a 50/50 allocation of funds (BTC/Alts).

I started a few years ago, on Cryptsy. Heard of Cryptsy? Smiley I started off with trading small amounts, and with altcoins that were considered more 'popular', like DogeCoin and MoonCoin. I do simple analysis on the trends, buy low, sell high, and earn quite a good amount myself. So I started to diversify, bought other coins, 42coins, Blackcoins, LTC, and many others.

I ended up not monitoring the coins after some time and ended up losing way more than I previously earned, so I decided to just stick to one or 2 of my favorite coins/volatile (High risk high reward), and keep a close eye on it. I recommend the same if you are starting out.

Get like XRP, ETH or LTC, go to Polo/Bittrex, deposit a bit and start trying for fun. Or, for starters, you can even just write down the amount you would buy and when you would sell, to see if you earn or lose before you deal with real cash.

Good luck! You can try coins with high volumes, and stay away from those coins with low prices, but low volume. I know they say buy low, but those coins won't go anywhere but into void. Tongue (like mooncoin)
