You understand wrong? I can't see any relationship between whatsapp and stellar, if that is true, everyone was already aware of that  Smiley

Usually the timing is the issue. Now it's not  Wink Lumens hitting alltime low's. Time to use some bitcoins.

Wow. I just heard this news. I do not understand. Whether watshap will do it and start making big changes?. Very interesting and worth the wait will be followed by other media in the application of payment. If this is a successful run, of course. Cool

Can't find the original article. But here's how I think it goes..

So facebook partners with stripe:
https://letstalkpayments.com/stripe-working-facebook-powering-100s-startups-fb-buy-button/
Quote: "The partnership with Facebook, which was first reported by Re/code, reveals that Stripe has become the sole payments partner for the Facebook"

Stripe partner's up with stellar:
https://stripe.com/blog/stellar
quote: "
Stripe's role
Stellar's goal is to build a great transport layer for transmitting monetary value. Figuring out how to efficiently move money is something we support very strongly: Stripe spends a lot of effort integrating different banking and finance protocols in various countries (17 at last count). We've always considered it unlikely that these systems would be just as fragmented in twenty years. Bitcoin has already changed the world by drawing attention to the value of open, distributed protocols that enable the transmission and storage of money. Stellar aims to advance this success by providing a way to transact in one's currency of choice, whether that currency is fiat or digital."

Stellar lays down ground work for payments in developing countries: (India)
http://fortune.com/2017/05/11/lightyear-blockchain/
quote:"As my colleague Robert Hackett explained in December, Stellar—which operates as a non-profit—has already laid the groundwork for such a network through partnerships in the Philippines, India, and Africa."

Facebook owns whatsapp and now this happens: (in India)

New whatsapp beta includes allready code for mobile payments. Question is what token they are going to use as a base for mobile payment's?

It's not going to be googles XRP.

My guess would be stellar. Any thoughts?
