Due to the markup on shovels it's really the shovel sellers (in aggregate) who made the money.

Hypothetical speaking of course....

When BFL delivers all their ASIC units. Difficulty level is 20 billion and even buying 10 SC's rigs is pretty much useless, what is BFL going to do then? Is there a newer technology out there or something? I'm confused as to what their next business step is? Will they support/honor all the existing hardware they sold?

lol
let me enlighten u and u can save  screen shot  my post  so u know  there are people who know:)

they will  introduce the  water cooled asics:)

then next gen asic2  witch  if u wanna stay in the game will have ship in old asic   all the btc u managed to mine  not many i might add

and a few k in cash extra to cover the gen2 asic

summed up very simple

shovel makers make the money:)

thats why they dont even bother to mine themselves

its not rocket science u know:)
