Seems like Bitcoin is in a bit of a price squeeze, its a commodity which can do this as people chase the price it will not release new supply like a normal commodity might do so.    Theres normal sellers of course but not a great supply vs the new demand in buyers.

Chart I can see today has barely pulled back, I put roughly where it should fall below to show any weakness.   Its far off its normal measure of accumulation.

If you get pressure because there is no demand, especially a large supply, according to my friend. is it possible that the price will be able to fall more than the white line up and be between the two white and yellow lines !!!
because if that happens there will be a significant decrease.
it should be in the range of $ 45K- $ 40K alone the decline will occur.
whether with a decrease, there will automatically be a large demand for investors to buy it, which will cause the price to rise.

* / the graph that you make is very good. I really want to be able to learn how to analyze properly with a program like you,

Looking at the order books of various exchanges, the demand seems to be outstripping the supply by some extent. A few days back, it looked as if breaching the 50K resistance level may take some time, but it was overcome relatively easily. Now it should be a smooth journey towards the 100K mark, and I expect the prices to reach there within the next 1-2 years (or even before that, given the massive interest shown by some of the institutions and corporations).
When it comes to bitcoin the ride will never be smooth, today the price is being pushed by the bears and we are close to being pushed outside 50k, I do not think this is going to last for long but we suffered a correction of 12% in just a day and while for people like me that is just normal as I have been here for a long time, when I think of all the newbies that joined the market during the last weeks then there is no doubt they are going to get scared and sell their coins and force a correction in the price, making our way to 100k way more difficult than what it should.

The correction that the Bitcoin market is experiencing right now must be seen as something normal, and it is something healthy, it may be correcting to gain strength and grow even more, certainly there are many factors that support my theory, such as celebrities buying Bitcoin, together with Microstrategy, Paypal and those companies that buy anonymously, in that case, I think it will continue its bullish path ..... And when it reaches $ 60k I think it will quickly surpass it, many expect the price to be $ 100k.

Only a week, from February 10-17, we waited for Bitcoin's price to jump from $40k to over $50k.

How long will we wait for Bitcoin's price to reach the new ATH above $60k?
You could never know what is going to happen, but not knowing what is going to happen is not a reason for not being ready neither. I personally have zero clue what is going to happen, and I have seen my coins go nearly 10x now and I could have easily gone away and sell all my coins, I bought at around 6.5k and that is about 9x increase so far and going even higher as we speak, which means I could sell right now and be in very very much profit.

But I am not, why? Because I could have sold it at 30k as well but I didn't and made more money, could have sold at 40k and could have made more money, people called me greedy and I will lose all my money for being too greedy and I still didn't sold and still made a profit when it went over 55k+ as well. So long story short be ready for a fall, do sell if you are in big trouble, but otherwise just keep holding as long as you can.

It was near the $60k but at this moment, price is decreasing. Currently the price of Bitcoin has dropped below $50k and may drop several more.  The next step is expected to exceed $60k when prices continue to rise again.
Obviously the current market is dropped, so other altcoins also slowly dumped in the market. But still it is maintain a $52k in crypto market and some big whales are involved in BTC investment so as soon as possible it will going to moon. This crash is a perfect time for crypto investment so those are waiting for crpto investment they find a right way and pick a perfect manner.

Just watching this price action, 55k is the recent low to start this week and we can see looking sideways this area forms a critical section of the upper price band.   Im also looking at the higher prices since the high on the weekend and if that trend is broken or continues, ideally we could observe this on 4hr bars.

Still Possible for this month. The market price is now really close to $60k and if the situation will continue for the rest of this month, there is a huge possibility for Bitcoin to cross such market value.
Yeah right, it's closer and closer and if this movement will continue, the chance of breaking that level is very high.

Not unless there will be a sudden correction which is also having a tendency to occur anytime, always.

It's part of the cycel, once sell take place those weak holders will follow, bringing down value for some time.

The market situation is always two-sided knowing how unpredictable the market behaves not only for Bitcoin but to other cryptos as well.

Risky but worhty once you understand how the market works and what are the potentials, volatility can be your friend, it can bring decent profits.

So we better be not carried away too much. We should still be cautious with our actions in our investments.

Correct! it's vey important to work carefully and keep your guard up as always to avoid making mistake.

As the market behaves, it is much more likely that the price reaches $ 60k than there will be a correction, not only because of the volume that is clearly buyer. I think that the price increase is because institutions worldwide have announced that they have bought bitcoin and that they are going to buy bitcoin, one of the ones that most catches my attention is Apple, it really has me intrigued, because it is a company that does not He hesitates when it comes to investing and if he is trusting Bitcoin it is because his financial advisers have already realized that bitcoin has the potential to secure the future of the corporation.

It is obvious that we are doing great so far but remember that the psychological 10k limits are always there and always takes time, do not hope for it to happen right away, but when it happens it will be quick.

How do I know this? I have been here when it had hard time passing 20k but then it passed and moved to near 30k levels, had hard time going above 30k and dropped under multiple times but went above 40k eventually, and now we were here for a few weeks and failed to go above 50k, but near 60k right now. So, anytime it passes that 10k levels it has hard time for a few weeks and then passes it easily and gets closer to other 10k limit.

I believe it will be here until end of the month and then be about 65k+ once again, that is how it has always been during this bull run and I do not see any reason why that would change for this time around.

Very good question and its a question most of us are thinking about all the time.  $60K is the next big milestone for chart watchers.

We are getting close to a price point for bitcoin of $53K but personally I feel when we touch $55K it will be holding on for dear life time.
We should also all remember that we waited for bitcoin to reach 50k a lot longer, it just did that jump during that week but that doesn't mean that it was nowhere near before as well, it was always trying to go up. What does this mean? This means bitcoin can stay at around 50-52k range for a whole month, or even few months, and not move under 50k and not go above 60k during all those weeks and months, and one day you wake up and price is 63k, that kind of stuff happens in bitcoin world.

So, think of it like something that rarely happens but when happens it happens very quickly, that's the point. Which is why I have to say we should be careful, same could go for going down as well, we should all get our stop losses ready because price could fall under 50k as well and could even go under 40k very quickly, which means we could lose a lot of money. I would say putting a stop loss at 45k or so would be smart move.

looks like it is very close. currently bitcoin price is just under $ 5k to get to that point. I suspect that the remaining days of this month will see bitcoin price hit $ 60k, or before next March. however, the day we can see a very high price for bitcoin is coming.

We are almost there as the price reaches $57k and in the next 4 hours we might see $58k, so that is a big jump already. So it's possible that we see bitcoin price hitting $60k before the end of this month. And then we will be on another speculation as whether the price could be sustained at this level or see some incoming price correction. We will see, but definitely everything look bright at this point.

How long will we wait for Bitcoin's price to reach the new ATH above $60k?

The price would come to a certain point that it would struggle to obtain a price towards $60k. We will see several drop this time but within a range between $55k to $60k. Hopefully next month is the fulfilment of that predictions, because $100k is our ultimate potential price to break here.

We will be reaching that his week for sure. The price is at $55K right now and it is not showing any signs of stopping which means that it would quickly reach $60K if we don't have any resistance keeping us from reaching the goal of this week.

Either way, we don't need to be so rush about reaching this price mark because, with a lot of interest in it and investors warming up to bitcoin, we will absolutely reach it. Consider it done as they've said it.

Watching the current bull run, I guess we will have to wait for just 24 - 48h!

We are very close to $55k, and the news is that the support level is now over $50. So it's just a matter of a little more faith to touch the $60k.
It just broke $56k today, so what do we have to do now? Wait?
Maybe we'll wait another week until Bitcoin hit the $60k or maybe it will going to happen soon?
I can't tell it exactly but it keeps on pumping up, I wonder who's buying right now?
I can't believe it would going to hit $100k soon but it seems it's not possible yet in my own perspective but the more large institutional investors join us the more I see the $100k becoming real very soon.

Bitcoin right now is rising steady and the new price is $54,890, not sure if this is the new ATH or not but definitely won't be the last! $60k is the next checkpoint Wink
It is a matter of time we will cross $60k and the price is still rallying and it is difficult to predict what is going to happen and with the price so high in February i am really confused what the valuation would be by the end of this year as these valuations were expected by the end of this year but it reached already and i am really confused how the market would be.

Just waiting, Currently, almost $56K, so only need around $4K is easy. We will see it this week or next week. Remember that we don't have any FUD or bad news about Bitcoin, so growing to $60K is easy.

Actually, i think you don't need to ask when going to $60K. Just hold your BTC because our final target maybe $100K-$200K

How long will we wait for Bitcoin's price to reach the new ATH above $60k?

Could be a week but not later than a month, Bitcoin is showing good performance in the market just look at this week stat
$55,634.31   2.2%   7.9%   17.5% if we have this kind of performance again, Bitcoin is going to break the $60k mark and set a new all-time high, so far there is still no big correction that will make Bitcoin's price dip, the momentum keeps getting stronger.

That is, if bitcoin will not stop rising. $60k is very easy to achieve in the next few days. However, you should prepare yourself as correction will hit anytime. Though this time, even if there will be correction, I believe it will not fall down hard, will still be more than 30 or 40k. There are too much players now in bitcoin market alone. So if there will be downward movement, it will not hit rock bottom.

Let's wait until the end of the month.

I know that there are a lot of investors and companies that are warming to Bitcoin but that doesn't mean that they would immediately invest their money. I think they are still waiting for the right time to invest. Saying that we might stick to $50K for now. The price might go back and forth inside that price range before it breaks the resistance and might go straight to $70K.

It is scary to invest at these valuation and i will wait and watch on where it is going as i am holding the coins and was booking my profit all this while and now i am holding for the next few months to see how long the rally continues and is planning to book my profit by selling everything i hold. The bull run this year is quite amazing and i wish i never sold the coins during the last rally but still i will never get these profits anywhere else and hence i am happy with my decisions  Grin.

Only because the brains tell us so, but as pointed out above already, 10k now is really not the same as going from 10k to 20k, which was an immense amount of psychology to overcome.

Rally probably is going to have some legs on this one, and again, in a very different way from before, but it's impossible to say.

What has always been certain is holding!

After threads saying that "When Bitcoin cross $50,000" blah blah blah, now thread like this will emerge Cheesy.

We can wait for weeks, months or even years before we see it cross the $60,000 price range. If somebody know it with 100% accuracy then he can be rich by now. Its really hard to say and it will stay like that. No one can predict the market as usual. We may see it crosses that price and then days after it will make a huge downfall or worse, in a few days we might see the crypto market turn bloody for quite some time Cheesy. Anything can happen but no one knows when it will happen so the best option to do is to just be ready in whatever things that might happen in the succeeding days or weeks.

it almost Break the 53,000$ in which 7,000 away from that 60,000$ yet fails comes to Bitcoin and now we are near falling 50k again.
But i have seen some post that the minimum ATH this year is 60k meaning at least now of in the End of the year , at least we have some assurance or expected price of High.
asking about" How Long" is a very crucial question that no one can literally and accurately answer but at least this year will happen.

Maybe this weekend, we will see bitcoin prices not moving higher or lower, and the next rally can come in the next weeks. Whenever I have doubts, I go to tensorcharts.com and check, when seeing it for days you can see a volume totally in green, this means that it is in purchases and purchases, and sales offers are seen at $ 55k, this means which can continue to rise at any time.

Although it is very likely that it will reach $ 60k, everything is likely, although many say that Microstrategy wants to buy more bitcoins, Elon Musk helps with his tweets, even the CEO of Forbes is in Pro-Bitcoin mode, this is likely to follow.

There is no way to be sure, the market is once again showing signs that it has overextended itself and that maybe it is overbought, which means that from now on it is going to be significantly more difficult for the price to keep going up, but we know that the market of cryptocurrencies doesn't necessarily makes a lot of sense, if there is a news that impacts positively the market you can be sure that many people are going to buy bitcoin out of FOMO and the price may skyrocket as a result of this.

Also bear in might that as we crosses a major milestone of $50k, somewhat the exponential growth will slow down. Unless there is bigger or similar news like the Tesla investment, it might take some time and all the trend leading to $60k might be invalidated again.

So hard to say, $55k will be another big barrier to break, so we will see, still base on the simply economic principle of supply and demand. But wouldn't be surprise to see some pullback along the way, just saying.

I predict that this month Bitcoin is above $ 60k and bitcoin dominance has risen above 65% and causes altcoins to decline, and that's when we will buy altcoins, yes this bullrun is still not finished, we will see how the altcoin price goes parabolic and reaches new ATH again , in simple terms this is a good year for hold.

No one who will know it, even you are an expert to trade. Bitcoin is not based technical analyst only, indeed we have a strategy fibbonaci zone that can predict when its price can increase and fall.

But, we have another factor and can be said as anothee strategy, yeah fundamental analyst. You can't predict that there are some countries who will accept bitcoin, right? Or as an easy example, you won't ever know that Elon Musk will make a tweet, right?

So, there so many factors that can affect bitcoin price movement and we don't know exactly where the price will go. We just make a history as a banchmark whilst we have the future and that also can change bitcoin price movement.

If we see news or a new tweet that now not only Elon Musk has decided to buy bitcoin, but Jeff Bezos seems to have become interested and decided to buy bitcoins for himself, I think that this will be enough for a growth of 60 thousand. The information background and the actions of large investors strongly influence the growth in recent years. If Facebook and Apple still decide to invest their funds, the rally will continue and is unlikely to stop at 60,000.
This is really shocking news if it is true that Jeff Bezos will also follow in Elon Musk's footsteps. I think their tweets can amplify the price even higher and many people have more confidence in real bitcoin investing.
The rally will not stop if big people are interested in this. For me the rally will not stop if there is news about other big companies investing their funds into bitcoin. Can this happen with 100k pieces after many companies glanced at it?

I thought this might happen.
Yes, the bitcoin ecosystem is also contributing to the increase in digital assets, such as payment service company Paypal which late last year launched a crypto buy and sell feature and accept crypto transactions and now Elon Musk through Tesla made a purchase of Bitcoin worth $ 1.5 billion recently.
and much more good news like Jeff Bezos planning the same thing and attracting more mainstream investors' attention which makes bitcoin price go up, and to hit 60K, I am very optimistic it will happen in the near future even more.

I think the price will drop around 48k-49k range again then will jump towards 60k. Sell pressure is high at this time.
The possibility of 60k is around mid-march or march end.

you have to keep in mind that $10k rise is not always the same size of rise even though the value seems equal. for example from 0 to $10k was also a $10k rise, so was from $10k to $20k but the first one is million percent rise and the second is only 100% and what we had last weeks where price went from $40k to $50k was just a 25% rise. similarly to go to $60k it will be a 20% rise.

what i'm trying to say is that the higher we go the easier it would become to surpass these targets because each time it becomes  a much smaller rise.
you can compare these rises with massive markets such as stocks that are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and they go up 5% which is something like $20k in one day!

Only a week, from February 10-17, we waited for Bitcoin's price to jump from $40k to over $50k.

How long will we wait for Bitcoin's price to reach the new ATH above $60k?
If the situation is almost the same as before, we only need to wait for a week to see the price will jump to $60k. But I guess that is not like that the scenario because we can not predict how the bitcoin price will move later. We can only hope and be ready for that, especially if you have a target price of $60k. But I am sure that we have much time to see that, and bitcoin has time to increase to that price. But I guess after what we see now, maybe we will see another correction for the price before the new ATH can reach.

From $40k, $50k, and aiming for $60k. What next, reaching $100k? We don't know yet when, but it really achieves someday.

But, I don't put it in my mind because for now, I was hoping for the market to slow down again and let early seller, weak hands to reinvest again before it will gain back to another ATH. I know there are a lot of people waiting for this dumping scenario but I saw that the market seems not to give any chance.

I think it will be at that price soon, when I look back at the bulls and corrections of bitcoin I see it has a large fluctuation of $10000, as you can see when it reaches $40000 it wants to return to the zone. support is at $30000 and now it is above the $50000 mark, so I just have to wait and see it reach even higher prices soon.

I think we’ll probably have a leg down before we see $60,000. It’s only my opinion but maybe we see $40,000 fkr a few weeks before we pump to $75,000 or something like this.

There's a big resistance on the price of $53k, so I think this is not an easy up trend anymore since many will start to take profit and we might see the correction to start as well. I'm not bearish on this market since then, but the up trend must stop at the specific price and for me if we can't break the price of $55k, then correction is about to happen. Its hard to tell when but that is for sure to happen soon, stay alert on to see that signal.

So are you going to be opening a new thread now for every $10k mark up til $100k? Just saying, after $100k, you probably should consider one thread with a milestone for every 100k notch en route to 1 million;)

Still. One week jumps feels incredible, a little scary too. Logic dictates bull trap alert, but crypto logic isn't always easy to underline, now is it?

My prediction about a bull trap and a Bitcoin price drop didn't happen,so everything is possible.
The current news about more big institutional investors getting into BTC are creating a new FOMO phase.
The last FOMO phase ended in the beginning of January, when the Biticoin price got a small correction from 35K back to 31K USD.The new FOMO phase might pump the price to 60K pretty fast,if there aren't any legit FUD news about Bitcoin coming soon.

Indeed, you are right. I should consider reaching $40k earlier.
However, as I wrote later, what I mean is whether the mood for a rapid rise to $60k will stay or will we have to wait for new "big news"?
It would be cool to have inside info from Apple or Amazon, but unfortunately we can only speculate about it. Cool Smiley

The good news is constantly appearing, but not as big as Tesla - yet it seems that this is enough for the price to rise slowly and is currently stable above $50k. It seems that Apple and Amazon have already been taken for granted, and now we can only wait for the official announcement which, if it happens, can almost instantly launch a price of over $60k. However, what I would actually like to see is for the rest of the world's companies to get involved - or everything will remain on the US bulls...

But if gold is going to be bigly mined on asteroids it will devalue like mad.

gold is 11 trillion
btc is 1 trillion.

maybe in ten years

gold is 5 trillion
btc is 10 trillion

Gold and other metals are very likely to be mined on asteroids, but not in the near future - certainly not in the next 10 years. But this does not mean that BTC does not have an impact on gold even now, because a certain outflow of funds from the gold market to BTC has already been recorded.

Can we actually extract this space gold? That is the quintillion-dollar question, certainly.

Speaking to Outerplaces, Professor John Zarnecki, president of the Royal Astronomical Society, estimates that it would take around 25 years to get ‘proof of concept’, and 50 years to start commercial production.

Whenever I cashout little of my bitcoin there'll be rise in the price of bitcoin. Myself sold bitcoin for fiat at the price of $51254, and by the time itself my mind said there'll be growth further. Same as that the price has crossed $52000 and stabilizing. The marketcap gradually grows high, and soon it'll mark its $2 trillion marketcap if the growth continues in the same pattern through the year.

we are already in good bitcoin season mate, and very different from the 2014-2017 cycle, there was no mass adoption back then, but now many companies are buying bitcoin to store their value, of course this makes Bitcoin price stronger, because companies try to provide strong support at certain prices, yes like Tesla did!

it won't wait long to go to $ 60k, fomo to $ 50k has already been reached, and it's time for $ 60k to be reached soon, because if the Bitcoin price can't hold above $ 50k then the mid-term bearishness will get stronger, then the price should stick around above $ 50k if you want the bullish cycle to last long, im sure price btc will above $60k soon. Nobody can predict when will Bitcoin hit $60k, $70k, $80k and so on..
You could actually post your analysis on your next prediction and ask the other users for their prediction as well to make this topic worthy to be discussed, rather than flatly asking "when will Bitcoin hit $60k?".
Simple answer to that is, I don't know. Lol

Hey man, have you realized we are in the Speculation Section?

Of course we are going to keep talking about that again, so if you don't like these posts, don't read them. You can put the whole section on ignore.

This being said, I agree with you that nobody can predict the price but I like these sections because we can guess, and people give their opinions. Posting complicated analysis with charts doesn't make the prediction much more reliable.

Smart man.

The answer is soon bro real soon.

How long will we wait for Bitcoin's price to reach the new ATH above $60k?

BTC first reached a price of $40 000 on January 7, 2021 - so if we want to be precise it took 41 days to reach $50 000.

I don't know where you get the data from, but what you wrote doesn't make any sense...

As for $60k, it would be good if someone could call Apple or Amazon and ask them when they will publicly announce that they have invested in BTC - then the price will reach $60k Wink

Historically, we rarely get more than 6 month of highs, so don't expect to see a dollar soon.
We may reach 60K by April or May as a maximum, but I would not be surprised if we settled for a longer time.
If what happened in 2017 were to repeat, we would witness torpor for some time and then crazy spikes.

Healthy growth requires a constant increase, slow correction like this, not crazy speculation.

It is likely that it will still happen in the near future, because as we already know even to break the $50k it doesn't go through any major corrections first and all the bulls are fast. I'm just wondering how high the value will be and not about when the hit of about $60k, $70k or maybe $100k will be hit, because if the trend is like this then it's very likely that prices will continue to rise. Whether a trend like this means that the price will continue to rise without a big decline or maybe it will be stable, the future does not know and be prepared.

Maybe after a week or two or could be by March? we don't know. What scares me if the last year's the same trend could happen by the same month.

But as many have said, it's no longer the same pattern and expecting a good move for bitcoin by March. Yeah, I agree, we'll see it soon.

I know, nobody has a crystal ball. However, there is a difference between this moment and what was a week ago.
A week ago, the price of Bitcoin was still pumped by information about Elon Musk's investment. Right now my question is whether Elon Musk's investment is still pumping up the price and $60k will be really soon, or the price will stabilize and we will have to wait for the next news that will pump the price and allowing it to reach $60k?

The fact that another question arises about the new ATH is because the previous level has been reached.
This is a speculation section of the forum, and that is why this thread was created.

It's hard to answer a question asked in topic - that's why I ask it.

Personally, I think it will take longer than range $40k to $50k (7 days) to reach $60k, because we need new big news, and I don't think it will be coming up in next days.
However, I think $60k will be achievable in 3-4 weeks.

Now it's at 51k and is still going up.

I don't really want to get my hopes too high because it's too damn scary.
When you are holding at this moment which came from just 6-8k for a long time, the burden is getting heavier.
No one can tell if it can hit that price and there are chances it may fall again.
So I don't have an answer when $60k will be.
