When they finally manage to update the forum you'll be able to make use of an avatar. Until then adding or modifying your avatar is disabled because of a hack last year that utilised it.
You can use bitcointa.lk which has addons for your browser that sends your post to this site. It allows the use of avitars.
heh, why don't they charge for this? Then manually vet each avatar.
