I don't see any problem with eating with a fork and it should be a personal preference in using which utensils to use or hands to use them. I'll never understand culinary art and i find them a hassle to follow the rules.

When did it become fashionable to eat with a fork in the right hand (for right-handers) and no knife? I am forever raging at the TV when watching period dramas and the actors are eating with one hand.

I'm a left handed and my spoon are on the left and fork in the right and also the knife is on the left because it's my dominant hand , I think it's more comfortable on your dominant hand though. And I've seen it too that it's more fashionable when only knife and fork your'e using in eating.

I can't believe people get pissed with stuff like this. Oh well, it's 2018, a post-joke world where anything will offend people and we have no choice but to crawl up into a safe space for their and our own good.  Grin

But seriously, eating with one hand using a fork don't look unusual. If it's really soft meat that basically melts in the mouth, why bother using both hands? If you can cut it with a fork, eat it with a fork.

In fact, I did not do much when I noticed this
But for me it looks very fascinating and unusual from the side

First if the food is able to use fork when eating
But it more fashionable when you  use fork to get food and put on the mouth of the person you love Kiss

(Thank you for all the merit =) ) ~Lovecove!
I eat this way when out and about trying to have some class. Does it not look refined and even impressive when someone is able to cut a piece of cake or similar edible with only a fork and scoop it up at the same time?

And I'm not talking about going in there full force. I mean gracefully cutting out a piece, then scooping it up.
