A IP ban is senseless. It's so easy to get a new IP on the one side and on the other side, a restriction via cookies, useragent etc. would also be unnecessary.

You can't stop scammers from creating new accounts. Never. For sure, there are stupid users who are unable to unplug their router to get a new IP address...but I think the most people here know that.

Yeah, I know not to spam... also, you said banned. Is there anyway for people to get IP banned? Because I think constant scammers and alt account makers should be IP banned...

It isn't possible. Most of the users use their accounts with different IPs, mostly using TOR. It is very hard to do IP ban. AND, BT allow multiple accounts!!! Sad
