It seems like it's stabilizing anywhere between 800-900. Anyone have any speculation as to when the next sharp increase in value will be?

Depends what you mean by 'sharp'? 
Over $900 very soon (days, 2 weeks at most), over $1000 before year end, testing $1500 very quickly early in new year.
