senseless thread about a senseless coin
While the current price of XBC seems good. I'm wondering if some of you can quickly answer what makes XBC so valuable. It seem just like another BTC clone.
Besides the fact that their is a relatively low amount of them and that the devs burned said amount. Other than that... Why trade BTC for XBC?
For some reason I get the feeling devs are building the price up so they can dump at profit. Then the few that bought are left with valueless XBC. I have no evidence, it's just a feeling. I deal with stocks and this is constantly done. Cyrptocurrency is pretty much unregulated market. It's the wild west out here.
Hi Alec, the devs are not holding any premine or substantial ammt of coins to dump. In fact after the IPO they destroyed the remaining coins. Its not just a Bitcoin copy they are moving to an entirely Proof of stake (POS) network opposite of Bitcoin's Proof of work (POW), many newer coins do this in some fashion but their distribution is different. BitcoinPlus was the first to my knowledge to use a well know exchange as the IPO's escrow in effect so anyone who bought was guaranteed the coins. Anyways once the network is POS only thanks to lots of new development, it would take someone holding 50% of the coins to orchestrate any attack on the network. Not using POW is environmentally friendly as no one needs to run mining equipment short of leaving the wallet open from time to time to secure the network Besides the fact that their is a relatively low amount of them and that the devs burned said amount. With Bitcoin Plus's low coin numbers, proof that the Devs arent running off with extra coins, redesigned wallet taking advantage of POS only, and the huge community and buzz surrounding the coin hopefully some of this can subside your nervous feeling. For my opinion i'd like to see .1 by mid June but I have a feeling the pumpers will press it there sooner. Just dont panic when the whales start to play

PS dont rely on information that it was .5-.9 last month, there were only 2000 coins from a previous IPO so the price was very high when those were the only coins out in the market.

I put never but I was caught out when it recently trebled in price, so maybe I'll be caught out again.
Don't know but it looks promising. Anyway to get come XBC anymore? I know I'm new so asking for trades will just make me look like scammer... But I am interested in purchasing XBC. PM me if you can help me out.

I'm sure "they" will try to pump it to that level in May. If it survives that, then it will be around for the long haul.
Well, I'm a bit of a longer term investor. If the coin flies up within a week it'll come down and people will run away. I'd rather see a slow steady climb.
