This a great news. This will definitely increase enthusiasm and confidence of the investors. Besides, this is one of the major investment firm. Other firms are most likely to follow its path.

Not only that, since they are one of the largest asset managers in the world, others will follow suit.

Good News Indeed.
This should reduce ICO scams as more and more individual investors will invest over to them. it would be hard to scam such a big organization. Such news woll also increase Investors confidence in ICO.
We surely can expect Bull run next year. Hopefully other big investment firms to follow soon.

Recently I was offered to invest in one ICO. And I noticed that the fund, which is a division of Fidelity, has already invested in this project. I then realized that this is a very good sign for a cryptocurrency market.

with over $7T under management, you know the herd is coming.
ETF's coupled with easier institutional/traditional investment gateways will definitely increase the speed of adoption. But adoption is 100% NOT dependant on it.
Crypto is already, faster, cheaper and more trustworthy than the methods we use in today's world. A couple of days ago, $194M in BTC was just moved with a $0.1 fee. No middlemen, no hassles, no red tape. This is the future // Working immigrants can send money to their families without the 10% fees of western union // The people of Venezuela can have a safe "store of value" // travelers no longer have to spend hours on the phone with their bank and/or PayPal trying to sort through the mess of "customer protection"
& It's definitely not just limited to payments... Walmart is already demanding all produce supplied to their stores to be tracked using blockchain // STO's are already faster, cheaper and more access to global liquidity than traditional IPO's & the world of DApps grows daily in quality.
The evolution towards distributed ledger technology is close to inevitable, it's the logical next step forward.
