what ? im kinda bit confused on what your tryin to say here  . you mean we must not tell people to invest , straight to the point ? but we should only explain them first about the history and story behind crypto ? is that is   ?

i thought what i read earlier is that we must first invest crypto before encouraging others  . anyway that is also a good idea so that we knew what we are marketing about   . and we must be honest so that people wont flame you at the end .

I don't know why anyone would ever want to begin explaining bitcoin as an investment. That isn't what it is at all. There are so many flaws in that. You need to explain the idea of bitcoin and how it is liberating and free of government and banking control and other external influences. Show them how easily you can set up a wallet and how to send and receive bitcoin. How to keep their wallet safe and other security aspects.
Let them know that cryptocurrency is their friend and here to stay. Tell them about how fiat is constantly weakening due to inflation and about how the banks are starting to do things like charge negative interest.

I don't think inviting people is the right way to advertise a project from this how many investors will agree to invest on a project?

They should advertise in more effective way which may cost a lot depends on what platform they choose to advertise it.

Anyway if someone see huge discounts on the price which may induce a feel of getting scam,so the value should be realistic.

The first knowledge that they acquired is what actually got majority of these things wrong because the knowledge is based on investment and that is why there is always panic in the market because they don't really understand what they are here to do other than just to multiply their investment, and what they should have understood first is to pick a project with technology and then think of how the product will sell so that their investment will always increase in value, because it is only when a project have a real working product that you will find demand for the coin always and when there is demand for the coin, there will always be a growth. If we always pick interest in crypto for just investment, it will be full of speculation alone and nothing more.

That's the common issue with investors, if they are inviting friends and relatives, most of them doesn't know what they are investing at too, sometimes because they know the value in increasing, they checked community the team are active and promising they can make them rich.

So, for us to be able to help people, we can suggest them what we are investing at but make sure to tell them to do their own research too as their is no guarantee that what you said is right.

People are interested in crypto investments initially because there are other people they see success with the investments that are followed, eventually they begin to be curious and begin to ask, how to benefit from crypto investments. Indeed, we should first introduce what cryptocurrency is and what are the advantages and risks that will be experienced when investing. Very volatile prices on crypto are very dangerous for novice investors if they are not ready with market and other knowledge. Need more education so that they really understand to move to the next level.

actually it depends on how your friends think, if your friends think smart it might not hurt if you tell the basis of a profitable investment in bitcoin.
because it is a fact in my life, my friend first told me about the benefits of investing and also how the function or performance of blokchain technology ...
and at the same time, of course I started teaching some friends and relatives about the basic things of blokchain technology and the benefits of investing in crypto. but I don't forget to say the risk of investing in this digital currency industry.

Yes we need to inform the users about both the advantages and disadvantages as well.  Because most of new user who joined in 2018 had no idea about the risks involved and most of them who invested lost capital amount as well.  We need to educate the users about in and out of crypto domain as those users who lost the money starts the FUD saying bitcointalk is bubble and all wherein they invested without knowing anything about crypto. Whenever I advice people about crypto I clearly about merits and demerits.

I completely agree with you. Talk about cryptocurrency should start with a story about its technology and how it is useful to use it. After all, not everyone can earn on cryptography and dont need to convince everyone that cryptocurrency is just a way of earning.

That is why I only share information and experiences with friends who have opened their eyes about what is "cryptocurrency" especially bitcoin correctly. Because it's useless to give an explanation if the person already considers bitcoin as a negative thing. Be a more open and critical person in responding to every news, don't be easily influenced without studying optimally.
----
Are there other ways to make it more inviting?
Only by showing the real results, your success, is the best way to convince those closest to you, right? usually people will be interested in the real evidence, it can dismiss negative assumptions about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general.

Before telling someone about the idea of creating a cryptocurrency, it would be nice to understand this yourself. Because shingo nakamoto is just a wrapper and decentralization is shifting fees for maintaining data centers. The blockchain becomes fully controlled when someone reaches 51 percent of the computing power that has already happened. You can think about it.

It would be very difficult to invite someone to want to invest on the internet, especially cryptocurrency now, because many of them have heard the news that many people have experienced fraud in investing, so of course it will be difficult for us to socialize the  people arround us, because of the effect many victims of fraud that occur from the Ponzi scheme today, I personally will not invite others to invest, but certainly, I will explain as good as possible if indeed they want to ask questions and find out about cryptocurrency investments.

May the God of the land bless you for this, and I think this was exactly what has been causing issue and why cryptocurrency has really not gone beyond this stage and have full adoption rate because everyone wants to see it as an investment opportunity which we all know that when it comes to investment, people are always very careful because it involves tying of money down, and also involve putting in large amount of money.

When it comes to usage for the main reason why cryptocurrency was created, people would not mind always putting in money and using it to make transaction which will create an avenue for the value of cryptocurrency to keep rising because what really makes the  value of a cryptocurrency to rise is the demand for the coin.

For sure there are plenty of those, but the key is, they should be interested in fundamentals. It's for their own good knowing what they are holding and why is it worth something. Best fud repellent you can have is information, that keeps you safe from getting sucked in the fear dumps, and it lets you know where we are headed without putting your trust on some biased news that can manipulate you to sell or buy altcoins if you don't know enough about cryptos.

Yes, that is what we need to do if we want to explain it to new people. But we also need to tell the volatility of the price to them because they need to know, so they don't have to worry and confuse to see the price will always change every day. I think some people can accept that bitcoin investment will work in a long time, and they don't think about the Ponzi Scheme if they realize that whatever it called investment, they need to have patience.

Something like that already exists in every trade sector, if you invest without research, you will be lucky once, but in the next investments you will be obliged to lose so are the people you invite, you should not estrange them, you should bring them closer. You should tell them what you know best for yourself. The increase in traders in this trade makes us even stronger and we all want it.

Of course it is right. For me, explain how bitcoin can be profitable like when we said "join bitcoin trading, will make your life better" is bad idea. Because they will only think about it. A lot of people usually think only about what can be advantage from them. What make me afraid is when they ignore the risk, or maybe not want to know about it, after lose in trading or get anything bad in crypto industry, they will blame bitcoin.

I totally agree.
Education first before investment. The education should be made simple as possible, as well as fun.
Teach them the importance of Bitcoin, how to use it safely, as well as the advantages and few disadvantages. Some wonderful promoters tend to ignore this sometimes. I don't blame them though, they probably don't remember due to stress and hardwork. They do their best while we reap from their hardwork.

The first thing to explain is what the project is and the benefits the project has made. If only mention all that is the means of investment they will assume it is only a Ponzi scheme or can also MLM.
So we have to explain slowly about the blockchain than to various projects that will be invested to know they are not the wrong way.

Not really. Majority of the people like investments. We can rather explain them the basic terms like digital payments and digital assets. If you will gonna say it's some kind of a blockchain technology, it may confused them. We all know that people are scared in new kind of things like this but if we can prove to them that we are actually earning and gaining through cryptocurrency investments, it may encourage them to join without thinking that this is a scam.

And most importantly, explaining how we are benefiting with market's volatility given by this crypto world may give them a light about it.
It's how a person delivers proper constructs wordings to attract persons interest, as it is different from our own perceptions since we do have our own versions of convincing our friends or love ones to join us seeking every opportunities that this industry has to offer.  The point is people have differences adopting what we are trying to feed/give  them.

If you start talking up  about system and payment process and give them hints how bitcoin intended being used, then after that give them ideas how to work with the investment sides with clear and detailed information, or you can do vice versa. It will still depends from how you delivered to convince them to follow your leads.

Okay, good point.
But should we use bitcoin as an example for them to believe? I mean, bitcoin had been the most successful cryptocurrency by now. If explained well then they might understand it easily.

Altcoins had been a pain in the ass to explain to someone else while bitcoin on the other hand is something you could explain in just minutes without even using the word investment.

Are there other ways to make it more inviting?

of course the basic thing before I tell my friend to join in this field by explaining the basic things about blokchain technology and its benefits, I will explain about the problem of return on investment or profits when my friend feels ready to enter this market.
We should feed them with important information that they need to learn before entering crypto.
Lacking knowledge will only make them quit and leaving them a bad experience on cryptocurrency.
Explaining it more clearly is much better to help them better.

I seldom invite people to invest in a project because I don't want to be blamed if ever a project fails or if it runs away. It is better to give people an idea or your opinion about the project than to invite them to invest and give them flowery words to push them in investing. Whenever I explain a project to a friend, I give them the ups and downs of the project and possible risk and the potential of the project.
The right decision if you explain how the investment works, as well as the advantages and disadvantages that will be generated. Do not give too much hope as if the investment you offer is very profitable and must be followed. I have several times recommended projects to my friends to invest but with conditions and risks that must be handled alone. But at least the project selected has been analyzed and is good enough.

What I did first to introduce my friends to the crypto world was to explain what bitcoin and altcoin are. After they understood, I gave them the airdrop link. If they understand, then I introduce the bounty. If they already make money from both, then I invite to join IEO. Yes, of course, by not forcing, because their choices da in the hands of each of them.
As the OP said, if we introduce crypto by way of investment, we can be sure people are reluctant to participate because it is definitely considered a money game or ponzi or MLM.

Let's say that Bitcoin is like fiat money, too! But its prices are rising and falling.Always say that Bitcoin is only used as an invesment in the ponzi schemes, So bitcoin is not included in the scam it is only used by people as it is also a form of currency. Also mention the legit uses of bitcoin such as buying online shops with your bitcoin.

Somehow, Bitcoin price movement is just like a ponzi scheme if see the bigger picture. This who enter first benefits on the price fluctuations due to new investors money that buying bitcoin. Bitcoin is obviously not a scam because it didn't promised anything to gain. All price fluctuations is just because to pure speculation of people. Price of Bitcoin dump hard right after it reach peak price and no more nee money flowing in.  There is a lot of useful ways that you can do using bitcoin but it's hard to invite others with this current price volatility

It depends on the person you are talking to. If the person you are talking to is educated enough, he will not take whatever it is that you are saying as the truth. They will surely do their own initiative to know cryptocurrency more. And why would you even include the investment part of cryptocurrency when you are talking to a newbie? He needs to learn the most basic of cryptocurrency first. It will start from definition of terms for sure.

I think this is a matter for each individual, and really we should not use other people's money to invest in this market. It's too risky and we can lose a lot in just a few days of red blood.
We don't really teach them too much, actually we just need to make a lot of money from crypto, they will automatically find us. So we just need to do our job well.

Many people around me ask how to invest from your investment section? I will only explain basically about what is cryptocurreny and digital money so that those who ask know first before investing,
After they understand what I am clear on the basis, then I will explain the benefits and risks that will be faced after investment.
Knowing the basics should be discussed first, as how we can go through the risky part like investing and trading when we don't even know the basic like why it's created and uses of it. Actually we don't really need to convince and discuss it to them, those who are really want to know ways to earn in crypto will eventually realised by themselves the things they must know to succeed here.

That's the mindset a lot of media outlets need to take, with bitcoin being published heavily in the recent years we definelty need to stop pushing it as a get rich method, and actually focus on the technology.

Most people don't believe that it's a ponzi scheme anymore, but since the markets are fast and they likely have heard and seen the pump to 20,000, they end up having way too high expectations and end up with a mindset that their money should double in a week.

I think there is no problem opening up an investment part there. That's how crypto is all about anyway. Sooner or later they will put some money into it. But if youre good in sales talk you can actually used that to claim referral by signing up an account. This is usually the trend now. Many are earning big by referral but only those who trusted in inviting can enjoy this perk.

Someone who refuses to put knowledge first, can easily make mistake. Some will not just be discouraged at the first stance of crypto, without proper orientation, so many people will want to quickly make some bulk, then opt out of it, but it does not work that way. I doubt that you can get away with the investment explanation in the beginning here. I mean people doesn't care about the technology behind, all they wanted to know is that how the hell cryptocurrency is going to make them rich. I've tried the approach you mentioned, but it doesn't work to be honest. I guess people are afraid of everything new, unless there's some form of investments or returns in the end.

I don't usually invite people or friends in crypto because of the risk involved, I mean yes you can definitely make money out of the market, however, people do tend to be greedy and look for more profit here. But when everything doesn't work their way, they are going to blame you. Of course, I tell them everything about what I learn in crypto, but the final decision is still up to them. I just tell its a good investment if you have the patience and not think of it as a way to get rich very fast because it is not. And they are not for free, you have to work hard for it, specially if they wanted to be a crypto trader.

They will only need internet connection, a little time everyday and effort. People should not depend to anyone, we can guide them but we can’t force them so if you are interested about cryptocurrency, do it as soon as possible.

but so far people who have asked me about crypto only know about investments and not many have asked for basic knowledge about crypto and how to use it. so far I don't refer a lot to someone to invest if they don't understand the crypto concept first, because if I refer without giving more direction, when they get a loss I will get into trouble.

I absolutely agree. It makes no sense to encourage people to invest in something that they know nothing about, and you really don't need to know everything about crypto to be able to invest either; I usually just tell people about the very basics of Bitcoin, some basic terminology and a bit of information about a few major altcoins as well as how to operate a wallet with a reasonable level of security cheaply, and I see that as being enough initially for most people that show at least some level of interest in crypto as a whole.

You should also inform whoever you're showing crypto to about the upsides as well as the downsides of massive volatility. A lot of people and sites I've seen try to flip volatility as being a bad thing, which it can be, but volatility's also what allows people to amass riches from crypto. As for leveraged trading, unless the person you're talking to is already an experienced trader, tell 'em to stay away from that for the time. Very few people handle leveraged trading responsibly, and most end up just riding positions down to liquidation or misuse leverage as a whole.

If you are going to successfully invite people to look at Cryptocurrency, you should Do Away With The Investment Part First
the first thing is to explain how it was created and the creator's idea, why it was created and what are the benefits
if you make the investment part first chances are people will look at it as a Ponzi Scheme and they will shun it.
I agree, people should properly explain it and how the sysem works. Not just saying it can make profit, they will make people think that they put money in and wait it to grow without doing anything.

i can agree with this, ive always told people not to think that BTC was everything in crypto
but to realize it was just the first USE CASE for the real gem: the blockchain tech
This is the future of finance, programmable money.
investing is just one of the things you can do in this ecosystem, yupp Smiley

Exactly, that is why I am avoiding any person that is newly joining for the sake of quick profit and investment without looking for its technical use. When someone is interested in cryptocurrency because of its volatility, that person is set to get scammed or liquidated. And you as someone who explained the whole thing will be blamed because of it, I would rather keep silent other than talking to this kind of person. There are many people joining cryptocurrency because they want to get rich very quickly.

I don't tell and describe cryptocurrencies to them as an investment if someone asks me about it. I'm giving those basics that we should tell about crypto's as OP told. But if the person you are talking to is really interested about the investment part.
You just have to clear about the risk and volatility of it.

Of course, this is the first step in order for them to understand the risk. I think no one would actually going to invest something if they don't know what they are investing. We are talking about of real money here and some of investments are for gains, and I think no person who's too naive to invest into something without knowing the details first.

Even the scammers will have to explain first what they were trying to do. Lol Cheesy

I agree but the best way in inviting people in investing in cryptocurrency is hinting them first. Not give all information about it. It should be like giving a little bit of information to someone you are contacting with in almost everyday. Sooner or later, you might found out that he/she might get interested in investing in bitcoin and ask you what it is like to invest in cryptocurrency.

That's what I did. I kept on posting what's happening almost everyday on me in cryptocurrency. This includes my trades, gambles and etc. And then more friends are asking me what's like to invest or be in cryptocurrency.

When explaining the basic principle, might as well add blockchain to it. It's kind of rare though to see people asking about cryptocurrency now without the word investment/bounty/airdrop as part of their questions.

If it cannot be helped, explain also that they do not need to invest in some ponzi schemes and that they can buy/sell directly on their own.
