Only a post(s) made after the activity update are counted when the activity calculation is done

To answer the actual question, activity is calculated every hour and since the last activity update happened on 1 PM today, and you have made 3 posts only after the last activity "calculation" was done, wait for at an hour
I though Activity update takes posts made in the last activity period. Does it have anything to do with the posts I make after update has happened?

Last one happened on Dec 22nd around 1 PM EST. So, I was thinking next one should be today around the same time but I don't see my Activity increased by 14.
