I'm going to sit on my BTC for a few days just in case. I doubt anything major will happen though.

It maybe safer to wait for at least 48 hours from now. I myself have sent Bitcoin to my casino and nothing happened, everything went smoothly and they credited me instantly. At an exchange is different as you don't know how the exchange behave with Bcash. In the casino I know they accept only Bitcoin so it is safe.

I don't think I would bother myself about when its the right time to start trading again others will do the job. Even the forum has announced that its safe to start making btc transactions on a high level but the exchange sites that release a statement about suspending transactions due to August 1 will equally release another statement for its resumption and if the exchange site you want to use does not have issues about suspensions then go ahead. The coast is clear just come back and testify.

same as title, when i can restart to trade on main exchange?

Nothing official yet, but I think each exchange will start trading when they feel things have normalized and will announce it on their website. Ill wait a couple more days just to be sure.

I think it's better to keep yourself away from trading for a couple of days, just to make sure there will not be any hurdles in your transactions. Waiting for Bitcoin Cash's value to rise, with less hash rate it's hard to survive.

There are not much of answers I think they are still busy looking at what will happen.
Better safe than sorry. Dont rush going to trades and just wait for their own confirmations that it is good to go.
Replies here might be fake ones so better check it first. Perhaps an announcement in their webpage will be seen too.

Just read the small notice we have on this forum
Quote
News: Bcash split at approximately 14:00 UTC, but has yet to produce blocks. There are no visible Bitcoin issues, so it seems reasonably safe to transact in BTC.

I think we can move bitcoin now because snapshot of BTC address was taken a long time ago and many blocks were mined in bitcoin chain after the snapshot. But it is still unsafe to move BCC if you have got some.

It seems stuffs are back to normal in some exchange now and most users are back to business. Also on the forum news flash, it looks things are good. It say;

As for me, I am still chilling for a day to see the look of things before I start transacting!

As far as I know, the exchange itself will let their users know if its already safe to make a transaction (deposit or withdraw) using their platform,
So just wait their updates and they will send an email about it for sure.
