It should be removed but nobody should be using their main email account to sign up to this forum. Way too many uber techie advanced nerds here who can destroy your life Grin.

Please do not use the same email address that you use for fiat banking, credit cards, car insurance, medical bills, your mortgage etc etc.

Being paranoid is a bad thing in normal life, being paranoid here is a life saver. Trust nobody.

I think it should be removed. Hopefully it will in the new forum. Don't really think it's necessary for non-admins to see email addresses.

True. Why does someone need to see email of the reporter in order to moderate the reported posts?

Your email will only be revealed to a moderator, only if there is set one for the specific board (local mod). If so, the moderator will receive an email from the forum saying that you reported a post, and that's when your email will be revealed.

I don't know what happens with Global mods though

So as the title. Then how will the moderators use the email? Or it is just a warning that moderators could, but not will, see the email?
