SMOS is ready to go once you flash the drive
You don’t need to install anything
Just make sure you email the text file on the drive before you pop it in
Then from smOS dashboard setup the rig and you’ll be good to go

With 1080tis I set 200 power limit 68 temp 50% fan speed 150 core 500 mem
I know you have 1070tis I was just giving an example of what I run

Good luck and happy mining!

Hi, I'm building my first rig to get into mining and I think I've hooked everything up, and put the SMOS image on the flash drive using HDDRawCopy. My question is do I just plug in the usb to the motherboard and boot up? Is there anything I have to do with drivers or BIOS settings now (before plugging in the USB drive with SMOS on it and turn the power supply on)?

I tried searching for "GPU Drivers" and "Driver install" on this forum but I couldn't find anything. On almost every complete mining rig how-to there's a step dedicated to the OS (Linux or Windows) and drivers but I haven't found anything like that with SMOS. I'm just looking for help to get into this really exciting stuff. I've built a personal computer and installed drivers from the manufacturer, etc, but assumptions about my knowledge should probably stop there. I have never turned the power supply on. I've literally just assembled everything, sorry if this is too repetitive...just being cautious. I love reading the stuff on here so I look forward to any help

Thanks!
The Rig is 3 GTX 1070 Ti on a Z270 SLI Plus if that changes anything
