Talk is very cheap, I could remember when most of these new projects were poping up, in the name of raisng an ICO for data analysis, the issue for me is that more people are leaving the space more than new people are entering, Alot of people lost money in January and have left cursing their luck

Alt season? That is implying that altcoins will only be here for a while before they die out which I strongly disagree with. The altcoins have shown that they are just as important to the market as bitcoin, without altcoins, there would be nothing for you to trade on daily. There is no such thing as an end, every season is altcoin season because they are all here to stay.

This is now a full-fledged market. The season will not end, the downturn is a recession and periods of growth, so that's how it is.

If we are seeing about the fact not so many people from the total population of human in our real life has known about the cryptocurrency, As long as it can be considered as an alternative game changer to the bitcoin and all of them will still run. I meant the season never gonna be the end. When the market gets a lot of uptrend the majority of news says it will go to the moon even a lot of experts and otherwise, the majority of them are blaming when crypto at the bad trend.
The bull and bear market will be running in some periods. remember this is a big game changer.

It will definitelly end one day, sooner or later. It is unsustainable, cant behave like this all the time. Space will mature and only a few of them will survive in the long timeframe

The graphs showing the "alt season" isn't convincing at all. It's like they just made a BTC cap chart then started to point to the highest and lowest value it had become and declaring that it's the alt season. The chart itself is also misleading.

For me, In my opinion every alts added there is minus. so bitcoin dominance still there maybe it will add more and less more but that is not will never end. Once that happens bitcoin is flying high and solo.

Alt season has barely begun IMO. We haven't seen too many projects exponentially rise in price yet.

Hint: Check out Ambrosus if you want an incredibly undervalued coin that will perform well by the end of the year  Tongue Their team is incredibly strong.

To fully understand altcoin market cycles, it is imperative to understand the Bitcoin dominance metric. Previously on our Twitter account (@thecryptofam), we posted threads dealing with the following topics: A potential indicator for the beginning of alt season, and how a bear market might affect the altcoin markets. For those who may not know, Bitcoin dominance is a percentage that measures Bitcoin’s share of the entire cryptocurrency market capitalization. It is not a perfect metric, but it helps to analyze the macro-market. We can observe capital flowing between alts and BTC with this chart and make some conclusions about the market’s current state.

Good analysis. It's refreshing to see decent posts that actually discuss trends on this forum.

Going back to the topic, although i bitcoin dominance is a good metric, it does not indicate whether or not an "altcoin season" occurs. Altcoins work independently from bitcoin and each other and their success depends on how good the overall project is. Whatever season you call it, bitcoin dominance can gain or lose depending on the altcoins that are being hyped at certain point in time.

The Alt Season will never end, there are cycles over cycles of new shitcoins coming forever and some of them will always be used and traded.

Yep, expect more coins to come since this market is quiet new and there's something more this technology can do. The cryptomarket will boom in time, and people will enjoy those era until something new replace cryptocurrency.

The natural selection will step into play at some moment, no doubt. However, now most alts are still in their infancy, so it's too early to bury them.

What you're saying is  quite sensible  and i agree that BTC and alts probably works as metric percentage to which there is an existing value that is converted into different alt or BTC which has been the most dominant crypto over years. I think the "end of alt's season" is an opportunity for consumers to buy stable coins and gain profit as it cycles into dominance again.

I would like to tell you that new season was just opened, the only couple of alts get lifted, so the many other alts are still in good time to buy. It is still room to grow before next pump. I would name this period - accumulation, in 1-2 months we will see the huge pump till 1T$. We need more people to come in the market before next big pump. You can track bitcoin trend in google search to see where we are now...

I hope that this season will never end, and when more currency pairs are added, the dominance of bitcoin will be less
