it looks like BCH/BCC deposits on Bittrex are active now
Yes they have just enabled BCC deposits along with few others including yobit. But we have to wait more than 3 hours to get our deposits to hit exchange due to slow network confirmation. BCC deposits requires 6 confirmation which is really hard to get with current mining difficulty and very few miners BCC have right now.

Dear People,

I have just claimed my BCH from trezor to Bittrex BCC address... What ETA can I expect? is it really hours before arrival?

Have not even seen a pending deposit on Bittrex and already 10 min into the transfer...

Thank you for knowledge and feedback on this, kind regards

congratulations for claiming your free money. actually I don't know how long ETA will finish but as my friend said, for sending BCH amount, it needs 20 confirmation in bittrex but I am not sure about this. I think you need to wait for a while and if your deposit is not arrive, maybe you can ask with bittrex support system.

There is no news about it so definitely no one here knows when.

If some of the exchanges shows some announcements about implementation of BCC deposits in their respective platform, I think Bittrex will followed (Right now Im sure they already have some fixed plan about it). Or might be they are collaborating to other exchanges about that matter. I see majority of BCC holders are waiting for other exchanges to accept BCC deposits and if does happened, Im seeing a big wave of reddish activity by the bears.

Either Bittrex or Kraken is going to open up deposits first and the other one will follow soon after.

Deposits are open on Hitbtc, but I've been having trouble accessing their website for the past couple of hours.
Viabtc requires verification to be able to deposit BCC, so that's a no-go for me too.

When BCC deposits will be opened on other exchanges, BCC value will drop to shit.
Everybody is waiting to do arbitrage with it: bought low on Viabtc, waiting for Bittrex to open deposit and then sell there.

i'm guessing they're waiting for other exchanges to do it first.

When they've dumped their bags they wont care what the price is unless there is some kind of plan to actually keep this thing alive.  In which case we will probably see 1 exchange at a time open up deposits to keep the dumps slow.  While the price is reasonable its great PR for Bcash.

Not sure we will even get to the point of being able to deposit BCC/BCH.  Looks like us safe traders that held in private wallets get the short end of the stick.  Should have kept it all on Bittrex!

i'm guessing they're waiting for other exchanges to do it first. there's going to be a shitload of incoming Bcash deposits once trading opens on the major exchanges.

there's money to be made, but it's always good to see exchanges being cautious: the Bcash network isn't stable yet. block time is very long right now, and confirmations may not be reliable. that's why they can credit users (internally splitting the coins), but not accept deposits.

So yeah, as we all know Bittrex has given customers Bitcoin Cash tokens at a rate of 1:1 depending on how many bitcoins you held at the time of the blockchain snapshot was taken. So that means that every single person with a balance on the exchange is now trading within a sort of a closed economy, meaning that the price is somewhat inflated.

Since Bittrex is my favorite altcoin exchange, when will it start accepting Bitcoin Cash deposits? Anyone know an exact date, or if not an approximation?

And for now, are there any alternatives apart from Kraken and bittrex that i can deposit and sell bitcoin cash at a decent rate at?

Please let me know your thoughts, thanks!

I'm anxious to get onto bittrex so that i can trade BCC as well but it seems like that there isn't any sort of deadline for this to happen. I've checked their official statement of the fork, it says something about when BTC deposits are going to be activated but nothing about when BCC deposits are going to be opened...

At this time, several exchanges have expressed the future support for BCC trading as well as mining pools. Bittrex will be monitoring this situation closely. Bittrex will close deposits and withdrawals of Bitcoin (including 2nd layer protocol XCP/OMNI and associated assets) 24 hours prior to the BCC UAHF time on August 1st, 5:20am PT (12:20pm UTC). The wallet will remain closed until the majority hash power chain is clearly established. Trading will remain active during this time. In the event of a chain split, Bittrex will take all reasonable steps to ensure that customer funds can be preserved on both chains.

Bittrex will monitor the BCC network stability and developments and assess the viability of opening trading of BCC assets. There is no guarantee that any markets will open to allow BCC assets to be tradable on Bittrex exchange. In the case of no BCC market opening you will be able to withdraw BCC.

I think that maybe it won't even get opened, ever. Unless a lot more merchants express interest in it.

Now that the drama is over.. No decisions about $BCC markets will be made until the chain proves viable. @BittrexExchange #WontTradeVapor

Have you tried ViaBTC and HitBTC exchanges? ViaBTC is one of the primary supporters behind BCC so no way will they be closing BCC/BTC markets.
