I think once we see a stable valuation of $1000 USD/BTC, you'll see an adoption of valuating in mBTC or Satoshi. Unfortunately, that would still leave $1USD equivalent to 100kSatoshi.

Hello all!
I'm new to this forum and quite a late Bitcoin buyer (beginning 2013).

I really believe in it, and I've been trying to persuade friends and family to buy them, as I'm sure they will be worth more with time.
However, most people around me don't have a lot of money to invest, so buying one Bitcoin at todays' $450 price is just too much. And they seem to not like the idea of investing less and having like 0.1 Bitcoin.

So, don't you think MtGox, Bitstamp, etc. should start using the mBTC (maybe it's too soon for Satoshi) as the unit in which people introduce the amount they want to buy? I know it wouldn't change anything, I just think psychologically people (the newbies/not so informed ones) would be more likely to invest in having 100 mBTC than 0.1 BTC.
