Tether is answerable to many things. If you don’t think they are under investigation you probably believe that Father Christmas is REAL!
At the same time when USD implodes... Probably never unless some really powerful countries/people go after it.
Tether is the same thing as what FED prints. As long as people don't demand the physical thing from the banks at the same time, the scam can go on forever.
You have basically said it is a scam: OK! Scams on this magnitude are investigated: FACT OF LIFE
The company didn't come up with a meaningful explanation about the funds' existence yet. They haven't done yet an official audit but they still continue to do what they are doing.
I didn't say it is a scam but the chances are for it to be a scam is very high, that's obvious.
What I really was saying is that they do the exact thing what FED does, printing money without anything to back it up. If tether/finex don't have the USD in their account to back the tethers up, it doesn't make tether less scammy than the FED which prints USD without anything to back it up.
I once watched the Keiser Report few months ago and Max Keiser said Bank of Switzerland made more money than Apple the company by printing Swiss Franks out of thin air.
What does that tell you?
