Bitcoin is right now #1 on Google Trends. That means it's getting a lot of publicity, ergo lots of new people will learn about Bitcoin and hop on the train in the hopes of getting wealthy quick.

This is, of course, how a bubble is made.

It's going skyhigh

Thats true, I expecting 2 months of increased demand. But people must get more info about Bitcoin, so demand starting in about one week.

I wrote this about a week ago, and I still expect it's probably true.

The current bubble takes it to about $1000, then it crashes back down to about $500 and starts rising again.

Yup, there it is.

So, I'm a bear.  But I held on for the ride, 'cause I think it's going up the next hill.

Bears are going to get slaughtered in the coming weeks, bitcoin has totally gone viral now.

By the time all the masses figure out how to buy some and go through all the verification on the exchanges, it will be too late.

Many bulls will be slaughtered, not unlike a bull being pierced with spears by an agile bullfighter, quickly circling him in a bullfighting ring.  Wink

The bullfighter is laughing right now. Toro, toro!  Cheesy

All the bull can see is the red cloth the bullfighter waves infront of his face, teasing him incessantly.

"Higher, bull go higher!" Cheesy  Cheesy

Meanwhile the bull is still holding all the coins and is laughing. Grin The bear however only has worthless depreciating paper money lol.

I think I'm a Bear right now. I cashed out a bit too soon. Yesterday, when the price was 1/2 of what it is now.

The current bubble takes it to about $1000, then it crashes back down to about $500 and starts rising again.

But there is absolutely no justification for any prediction on the matter; I'm pulling that opinion out of my ass and I know it.  So I'm gonna hang on, ride out the expected crash, and ride the also-expected rise that comes after.

Then again, I may sell one coin to recoup (several times) my initial investment....

Bitcoin's price has gone parabolic.  We only need to look back to April this year to see what happened last time a large group of speculators thought 'this is probably as good as it gets' and starts to dump.  75% fall within weeks.  The price of course rose again and smashed the previous record, but beware of hubris in regards to bitcoin's price.  It has a tendency to bite people in the ass really hard.

I am here, more bearish than ever! Wink I was wrong when I sold at 350: that f_cking wall at 300 did break and now we are +200... so yeah, my prediction was incorrect.
But I still don't understand why we are at the current price, makes no sense at this point imo... so I would not rebuy until I see at least two corrections.

Look at a daily chart with volume for the past 2-3 months.  Each of the down days had huge volume and all of these sellers are chasing.
