Matthew 19:14

Mark 10:14

Luke 18:16

----------

Matthew 21:15,16

----------

The reason that children need not be talked about is Matthew 18:3:
Quote
And he said: ?I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Since people can only be saved by faith in Jesus, why is it that the little children are the ones that we must become like to be saved. After all, the little children don't understand any of it. So, how can they believe?

You are such a Prince! A real Wizard, thank you very much Wink.

Quote
Jesus said, ?Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.?

Quote
But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Quote
But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Quote
But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, ?Hosanna to the Son of David,? they were indignant.

16 ?Do you hear what these children are saying?? they asked him.

?Yes,? replied Jesus, ?have you never read,

??From the lips of children and infants
you, Lord, have called forth your praise

all the quote are according to the Wizard BADecker...

Now in short it's to signify that any opposition to the path to salvation done by parents against their children will be met by the Authority of the Almighty (If I resume).

So to comeback to my point the only officially reported time that Jesus was in contact with Children is in the Temple Mount... there is no other "contact" reported? And about John (I know I abuse but thx).

thanks again, you are a blessing Wink.

In the first place, I'm not a wizard. Wizards have to do with the evil one.

While the Bible reports are few, the times of Jesus talked about most are the 3 to 5 years starting about his age 30. But remember when He was taken to the temple at age 12 by his parents, and he was lost, his parents thought among friends and relatives on their way back? Surely there were other children that made the journey with them.

Also, consider that there is the whole time of Jesus's twenties, when He could have been married, had children, and then all died for some reason. After all, Hebrews 4:15 says:
Quote
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are?yet was without sin.

Temptation is different for you when you are married and have a family. If Jesus was tempted in every way that we have been, perhaps He was married and had a family so that He could be tempted in those ways, as well.

again, you are a wizard... but I may differ on your opinion on wizard... when Moses came to pharaoh the first one to switch side and recognize that pharaoh was a FAKE, were them. So I don't mean in any way to what ever you, it's a sincere compliment, furthermore your knowledge extend on many different topics, making you a wizard, or a great savant Smiley.

the bible report were VERY complete, the best of the EMPIRE were tasked for that (who is this guy), but were ERASED later, maybe it was too frightening for poser that wanted to be pharaoh like... that's my guess.

When you walk with God, you can't be lost in HIS creation... (and if it's become darker, just switch to the LIGHT).

thank you again, wizard Wink.

BADecker will know I hope, maybe a few quotes Wink? but it seems to me that all the parables have various mature people in it...

thank you very much for your future kind answers.

Are you talking about the New Testament the book or the parables in the NT?

First thing that comes to mind is the NT talks about the birth of Jesus... even his conception. It's pretty easy to understand why no children were in the parables, as Jesus was trying to teach what to do or not to do, and children were a lot more innocent back then.

so you are saying that I "found" something, there isn't a reference to a story with children in it? it's always about grown ups... fishing, discussing, eating, walking again, etc etc...

shall I say: Eureka?
